Danger: Curves Ahead

Rate this book
Pharmaceutical exec Liz Carson loves men—she just doesn’t want one underfoot for very long. Against the tropical backdrop of Key West, she meets her match in cocky U.S. Navy pilot Brandon Strickland. His disarming charm persuades Liz to reconsider her stance against a long-term relationship.

But when Brandon’s past comes calling, it knocks Liz right off her designer stilettos. As she regains her footing, a funeral calls her back to her family’s ranch in western Oklahoma, throwing her into a storm of deadly events…and into the arms of cattle and oil magnate, Gage Hamilton.

When friends rally to her aid, and Brandon joins the cavalry that shows up on her doorstep, an unexpected showdown of the heart forces Liz to choose between two very good men.

I just finished Danger: Curves Ahead by Janice Richards and I'm still trying to catch my breath. Book Two in the Roads to Romance Series did even more than the first, Detour, to convince me that life and love is more than alive and well with these mid-life ladies who vacation with and depend on each other--it's full of action and thrills. And with the help of old friends and new you can get a lot accomplished with some fun along the way. Liz Carson is a complex fiery redhead who has the attention of not just one super hot man in military man, Brandon Strickland, but there's also the tall handsome ranch owner, Gage Hamilton, too. I believe the author must live a vibrant life to write with such detail about so many great locales and characters. The only danger here is you may not be ready for all of the twists and turns that really will have you holding on tight for a great reading experience.
