I read this book to my boys (4 & 8), especially for my eldest who has a hard time letting go of the little things that wouldn’t matter much but seem to mean everything to him.

This has helped him to understand the meaning of value in objects, so much so he would love to get an actual copy of this book.

As a parent, I loved this story. The illustrations are beautiful, the storyline is simple and easy for kids of all ages to understand. I would highly recommend this book.

This book is adorable! The drawings are cute and captivating, the layout of the text is unique and easy to read, and the story is very memorable. The message is sweet with {SPOILER} the kid dragon at the beginning of the story growing up to find that her baby dragon is the “something special” she’s been waiting for all along! Kids will definitely love the vibrant colors and charming dragons.

This cute little book captures the unexpected use of a dragon's gold. I loved how the author captured the emotion of the decision to use the gold. How could it be used for something unimportant? The ending will surprised you too!
