Steven started off with a royalty check of just ten dollars and was determined to get to the top of urban fiction. No matter the cost. He sacrifices his friends, family, and time all to get that all mighty dollar. All he has is his money making team and he learns that being "king" of urban fiction isn't all its cracked up to be. Its lonely at the top and when your foundation is unstable .. lets just say it gets messy.
I'm not sure about this. I read it in like 15 minutes. It was fast paced but at the same time it seemed too rushed (if that makes sense). I guess I'll see what's going on with part 2 but at this point I'm not impressed
Ok so I began to read this book cause it was suggested to me plus it was short so I gave it a stab. And lord what a run this was. I don't even know if to give an Amen for exposure, a woot woot for "you go on right ahead author Taquila or just take it for what it is "A DAMN GOOD READ". To say some for individuals don't sound suspect I would be lying but urban fiction is what I enjoy and this sure was one of them. Bring on part 2 let me see all the other sneaky stuff I pay my good money for. Excellent job!
If you're nosey and like gossipy juicy reads, this one here will have you like whoa! It had my mind reeling in 100 different directions! The last thing people want is to be taken advantage of and this book deals with it on many levels, as a reader, an Author, and publisher this is the type of trap you just don't want to fall into. Wow thank you for sharing! Can I have part two?
Ok, I had been hearing about this book for some time. It was suppose to shed light on the urban literary world. I read urban fiction all the time, but I don't have a clue as to who the book is making reference to.
The ending left a lot to be desired. It just didn't come together for me. Something was missing....maybe if this was a full novel, with character development, and a stronger plot, I would've rated it higher.
Oh Dear sweet baby jesus in the manger I can't believe she went there!!! You might as well used real names because everybody know who you talking about LOL. For the first time ever in life I am without words. Smh Im just gone pick my mouth up off the floor and pretend like I didnt just....Oh my goodness!!
The urban fiction world will never be the same!!!!!!
Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy when I tell you that the urban fiction world is so messy believe me it is. This book left no secret untold and if your are a real urban fiction junkie you can find out who each character is. I salute you Taquila for telling it like it is. I can't wait to get my hands on part two.
This book was a fast-paced, page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was very good! Id recommend this to readers, authors, and the people in this industry.
