Parable of the Fortune Cookie

It wasn’t her three children under the age of four, two nursing jobs, or stay-at-home husband who refused to do housework that pushed her to the edge. It was the fact that they were sinking financially. Little did Denise know that her husband was stealing money from their account to buy drugs. As emotional and physical exhaustion set in, she cried out to God, pleading to do whatever he asked if he would just communicate with her.
