Fortune's Cookie

SO SHE WANTED TO BE A REPORTER...

Hotshot newshound Nick Fortune was disreputable, disheveled and on job probation for the rest of his life ...unless he agreed to "baby-sit" the boss's niece. Sure, this dame was a sexy eyeful, but Nick smelled trouble from the moment she waltzed into the newsroom with a head full of big ideas and a pretty mouthful of smart comebacks.

Lorna Kincaid couldn't believe that this was Nick Fortune, prizewinning journalist and her teacher. Why, he was nothing more than a stubborn chauvinist who thought she should be writing the society columns. He was also big, broad-shouldered, and had the promise of something naughty--something wonderful--in his eyes.

Ugh!! I like Nancy Martin, but I was disappointed in this book. Maybe if you like true romance books this is for you. Not my style this time around.
