Bashful Karma Mason has been too concerned with college—and now work—to embrace her femininity. Bullied as a child, she hides behind an unremarkable wardrobe and relegates herself to the shadows. I felt like this book was about 200 pages too long, and took too long to reach climax, literally! And Mark was just too over the top to be a believable character.

Mark's and Karma's story drags on for 2 more books but I just don't see the point.

Who doesn't like a good Cinderella story? We all fell in love with the fairy tale as children. Be prepared to fall in love with this modern day fairy tale.

Karma is plain and ordinary until she has to escort her gay friend to an event. He becomes her fairy godmother and transforms her into a stunning beauty in a red dress who catches the eyes of everyone at the event. And especially one pair of sexy eyes, those of Mark. And so the tale begins.

This is a yummy feel good story. The kind of romance I love to get lost in. And it delivered. Mark has his heart locked away but Karma turns out to be the key to unlocking it.

Great read for all romance lovers.

Good Karma is a very good book, full of meaning and emotion. It’s about finding love, but most importantly it’s about finding yourself. Who you are is the answer Karma will have to find the answer to. But is Mark the person he thinks he is?

Karma is a beautiful intelligent and funny young woman, who has undermined herself since her teenage years. Bullying does that to you. Having no one to stand up for you makes it worse. Even her brother was one of those bullies; why is something I don’t understand. He was supposed to be the one protecting her and yet he was the one who fueled them. His wife and her best friend (and her brother) are acting like teenagers, with low intelligence and the constant need to bitch. There isn’t another word for it. And Karma was just sitting and taking it all. The bullying continued to her work environment, naturally. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but even her parents had no clue how bad Karma was tortured at school, which is another thing I don’t get. How don’t you see that your child is miserable? The only loyal people she has are her friends and seeing everyone else, thank goodness she has them..

Mark, on the other hand, knows who he is. Or better, he thinks he knows. He made the mistake to commit to the wrong woman, she screwed him over and he ended up being the non-committed-relationship guy. I liked Mark, most of the time. He sincerely wants to help women and specifically Karma find herself. He wants to be the one revealing their beauty, inner and outer. He has a good heart and he is very charming. I really liked the fact that he has values that he isn’t willing to put aside. I can’t say that what that woman did to him is something small and insignificant, but he should have known that Karma isn’t a woman you let go. Not ever. He had to man up and suck it up.

Karma doesn’t know who she is and Mark thinks he knows who he is.

Like I said before, the book is great. And I love that it presents serious matters, such as bullying and its effects on peoples’ lives, lack of self-confidence, betrayal , family. However, it wasn’t perfect.

First of all, I found it too long. Some descriptions were pages long and some of them were even in the middle of a dialogue, which I found little annoying. I don’t really like to scroll through pages to find the next line of a dialogue. Second of all, the book was ⅓ love story, ⅓ sex lessons and ⅓ confidence lessons. Again, I want to say that I loved the meaning of the book, but its length magnified the ⅓ ‘s as I called them just now.

It’s a good book, but in my opinion it could have been much better. Despite the above, I would definitely read the rest of the trilogy..Karma and Mark are quite addictive..

Waiting to see how karma will get around in the next book....

I first fell in love with Donya Lynne's characters when I read her All The King's Men series so when I heard she was releasing a contemporary romance novel, I really wanted to read it to see if it could be as good.

Good Karma starts off with a sassy red dress and attitude, even if it is veneer. Mark Strong is attracted to that dress as it calls for his attention but then is swept away by the woman inside it. Karma is playing at being someone else for the evening and can't believe that she has caught the eye of one of the most handsome men there. Full of her own insecurities caused by her past, she thinks she is ready to let it all go but realises that she is not. This story follows Mark and Karma as they serendipitously meet up again, this time as work colleagues for a short term contract.

This story is beautifully written and the characters have their own issues and pasts to deal with which makes them 'real'. Mark is an alpha male through and through but has also learnt to embrace his sensitive side. Karma is a strong female lead who is the perfect match for Mark but will need his help to deal with her own issues.

A fantastic story that entwined itself around me and yes, tissues were needed at some point but it wasn't because I was crying. Oh no, it's just my eyes were leaking!

If you have read AKM then rest assured that this book still has the Donya Lynne stamp and will sit happily next to each other. Definitely as good but just a different genre.

Recommended to all.

Good Karma by Donya Lynne
4 out of 5 Stars
When I read the first line and saw a reference to Cinderella and her castle, I thought “Oh boy…Another spin on the old fairytale…” But boy what a fantastically steamy, beautiful, moving, funny, real to life tale this ended up being!! Lynne took what could have been a cheesy attempt to modernize a classic theme, which we’ve all seen done before, and beautifully made it a modern day love story.
Karma is almost every woman I know; insecure, feeling kinda safe in a rut both physically, professionally, emotionally, stylistically, and for sure sexually, and still truly beautiful and wanting to give life and love a try. Mark on the other hand is a rare breed; the “perfect” guy who knows how to make any woman feel like a Queen in every possible way, but never wants to be a King when it comes to making her home his lifelong castle or making a vow in front of God and man that she belongs to him. So when the two meet boy do things get interesting in the “ballroom”! Hehehe
This was a really fun, moving, one-sitting read that kept me up until 4am! Lynne’s writing is very smooth, well-paced, and descriptive enough that you feel like you are standing in the Palmer House Hilton but not so much so that you get tired of reading about the plant’s leaves and how many hors d’oeuvres were served! So I truly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a GREAT modern day Cinderella story…I just can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Good Karma by Donya Lynne is about overcoming things in your past. Karma was bullied in school and she always feels inadequate to others. Daniel her best friend needs a date to an event and takes Karma along with him. Karma feels uncomfortable at this event that is until she meets Mark. After talking and dancing Mark takes her back to his hotel room. This is when she realizes that she is not cut out for this and leaves. Mark works for a consulting firm and on Monday has to travel but he cant keep if mind off the beautiful woman he met Saturday. When he arrives at the new company he his pleasantly surprised to find Karma works there. Karma and Mark begin a journey of showing her how beautiful she is, knowing that when his job is done their relationship is also. Mark made himself a promise that he would never love again. Slowly the walls around his heart are coming down because of Karma. I loved the chemistry between the two. The truth or dare game they played absolutely had me blushing a few times when I read it. This book is a cliff hanger but is a must read. I really cant wait till the next one comes out. I would recommend this book!

BookBub find.
I found this beauty on Bookbub and had to grab it up.
Good Karma is well written and the "Cinderella" concept made it a great read.
But... I'm NOT a fan of a cliffhanger and I didn't realize the story wouldn't be wrapped up with this book.
I understand the marketing tactic of a cliffhanger but as a reader, for me, it's extremely irritating and I try to avoid reading them. The exception being the Twilight series.

REVIEW: GOOD KARMA is the first instalment in Donya Lynne’s new, adult, contemporary Strong Karma erotic romance series focusing on Karma Mason and Mark Strong. Our couple first meet at a charity event where Karma is willing to step out of her comfort zone and into a sexy one night stand. What follows is a forbidden relationship between two people whose lives will intertwine between the boardroom and the bedroom.

The storyline focus is on the building relationship between Karma and Mark. Following their ‘almost’ one night stand, Karma discovers that Mark has been hired to streamline the company for which she works. Knowing that embarking on a sexual relationship could very well end their careers, Mark and Karma have a difficult time keeping their work and their private lives apart. Jealous and vindictive co-workers will set their sights on Karma hoping to take her down with the rest of the trash.

The relationship between Mark and Karma is sensual, seductive and educational. Mark is a complex man with more experience and he is willing to teach Karma a thing or two about what he wants and where the two shall go. Mark’s past has all but controls his present, and Karma’s insecurities and fragile ego are fodder for those people who believe they have something to gain by destroying what little is left of Karma’s faith.

The secondary characters are colorful: from co-workers to family Karma must fight the barrage and personal attacks on both her personality, her appearance and her position at work. The ground rules have been set for a woman whose life has revolved around trying to make it in a world controlled by power and beauty.

The storyline line ends with a bit of a cliffhanger-one that will evoke a tear or two or ten. I reread the passage several times and each time I cried harder than the last.

Donya Lynne’s foray into the world of contemporary erotic romance is provocative, emotional and heartbreaking. There is startling truth and a staggering fall-out for two people who have fallen in love but for one the head doesn’t know what the heart has done. GOOD KARMA looks at two people whose relationship is built upon a temporary framework-one that will come crashing down when one man is afraid to take a chance.

Karma Mason has decided to play Cinderella for a night and finally comes out of her shell. She is beautiful and for this one night she truly feels it and embraces her sexy side. Karma captures every man's eyes in the room and she unknowingly beckons them to her in her siren red dress. It doesn't take long for Mark Strong to notice her and to stop noticing everyone else. He makes it his mission to show her just how beautiful she is... inside and out. Can he become her Prince Charming or is the past going to hold them back?

Wow. Even with a streamline plot, the author made this story extraordinary with her complex characters! This book made me laugh, blush and cry. More than once and not always in that order. I can easily recommend this book to any person looking for a steamy book to curl up with! This book is a semi-cliffhanger.. The ending gives you hope and also makes you want more. Happy reading and I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

I had so much fun reading this book. Karma is a very shy, sweet girl who one day her best friend, Daniel took her to a fabulous event. For the first time in her life, men were paying attention to her and she enjoyed it & loved it even though she was nervous as hell. Her wardrobe aren't that attractive which makes most of the men not noticing her but that night at the event, her friend Daniel made her come with him as his hubbie wasn't feeling well. Daniel bought her a very expensive dress. She in a stunning red dress met this guy, Mark Strong who is very hot and was going through a hard time. I won't gonna spoil it for you but her life, her wardrobe changed after then. Karma turned into a beautiful, confident young woman all because of Mark Strong. This story is quite lovely and it had a quite ending as well. I enjoyed reading her shop. I highly recommend this new series. IT'S FAB-U-LOUS and GLAMOROUS!

I so enjoyed this story.
As a favour for a friend Karma finds herself playing Cinderella and at a charity ball. Karma catches Marks eye at the ball. Mark doesn't do relationships. They do however spend some time together at the ball. Afterwards Karma finds herself back home thinking about Mark.

What happens when Karma is given a second chance with Mark???
I loved the chemistry between these two.

This is a really great steamy read that I just had to read in one sitting. The ending has me hoping I won't need to wait long for book two.

I couldn't finish it

Perhaps i am too jaded and impatient.
I just felt there were both scared and uninteresting.
I also realize there are many books to this series, which makes me think this will be a 500 page cliffhanger and that would piss me off even though I find the story boring.

Mark has one rule No Long Term Commitments, period, end of story, that is that. He has a things for "broken" women, helping them see the good in themselves, and then he moves on to the next project. And the woman in the red dress has just become his next project, because while she has the eye of every man in the room he can see she's not used to the spotlight.

Karma came is the ball because her best friends husband is sick and he asked for her help so he wouldn't go alone. He gave her a makeover to rival the best celebrity, but now she's gotta walk the walk and that's kinda hard in her new sky high heels. She's not used to the attention but her previousily unknown diva is preening in the spotlight, and to top it all off she's got the attention of one GOREGOUS man. But inside she's still a shy girl and her fairy tale ends at midnight. Karma goes back home and back to her boring life, until HE walks in as the consultant hired to finds the problem areas her company has.

What would you do if you were given a second chance to let you ture self out of the closet? With Mark's help can Karma find her inner goddess and become how she was always ment to be? Remember Marks rule, so what happens when lines begin to get blurred and long term doesn't sound as bad as it once did?

Mark is cocky and confident and he's sweet and caring. He may not be a forever kind of guy but he's all about showing a woman just how amazing they are and deserve romance in their lives. He's got a past that made him the way he is, but he's happy with how he is now.....Right?

Karma is shy and insecure on the outside, but she's not a pushover. Or at least she doesn't want to be, and with a little help she sees how amazing she is and doesn't let the past have pull over her anymore. She cares about those closest to her, and will do anything for them.

These are two not so broken people coming together and helping each other become better and happier in their lives. This was book one inthe trilogy and I can't wait to see more of Karma and Mark's Story.

I always love the idea of a guy who got his heart broken and can't seem to move on, but after meeting "the" girl, all of that changes. Cliché I know, but I love it, haha, sucker! This story has that idea and imagine my excitement, yep, I've been on cloud 9 reading the first few chapters. Yep, JUST few chapters, because when I resume reading after a good night sleep, the story kind of changes that I can't find the reason why I liked it in the first place. That was also the reason why it took me 3 days to finish this story, which normally just took me a day!

Karma (yep, that's her name) and Mark first met in a charity benefit in Chicago. They both thought that they're not going to see each other again but was shocked when Mark turned out to be their company's consultant. And yep, that's how their sexy ride started. Why sexy? I'll tell you why in a few minutes. *wink

In the second chapter, Mark was introduced as a guy who's obviously hasn't moved on even after 5 years. He tried so hard to be unaffected but after seeing his happy pregnant ex with her husband, he lost it all. Reading all of those, I've been expecting a hero that is so messed up that he can't think clearly or someone who causes trouble but was baffled to find out how a good "teacher" he is to the Karma. If you can get what I mean? Haha.

Karma is an attractive woman but because she's too focused with her studies and now her work, she never got the chance to explore and experiment on her looks and with her "other" life. In other words, her life is boring and so is her wardrobe, but all of that changed when Mark came. He didn't just motivate her to really dress up and to stood up for herself but she also learned a lot about pleasing herself and her future man. I don't know if I said that right but I am making this review rated PG as much as possible, haha.

Honestly, I'm not totally in love with how this story were weaved but I love the idea. I love the idea of two broken people (messed up in their own ways) found each other and tried to fixed themselves together. It's just too bad that the other one was not yet ready to move on and to finally commit. But hey! There's still book 2 coming!

And surprise! surprise! I didn't find something in this story that I really hate. There's no third party but there's a douche and b*tches, but I'm so happy to read how Karma faced them all and put them to their rightful places. I also love to read each character's improvements especially Karma. I love to read about her transformation especially on how she stood up against the nasty Jolene and her douche of a brother. I don't really have any negative comments about her character because all were portrayed pretty well and so convincing.

Mark on the other hand isn't what I expected. When I first read about him, my first impression was that he's so messed up, but I was wrong. Well, partly, he's still hang up with his ex but after all the explanations, I can totally sympathize. You know, sometimes when I guy is so heartbroken, instead of moving to the right direction, they end up on the wrong side of the road, but with Mark? He's not. He's doing great actually, but still a little messed up. I really love that he came into Karma's life and how he makes her see what a wonderful woman she is. I'm not head over heels in love with his character but I adore him so much that I am praying for him and Karma's happily ever after.

You know what I also like about this story? It tackles a sensitive life experience that we can all relate, and that's bullying. It's just bad how people can be so mean and says and do some bad things to you just because they're insecure or they just don't like you. Those experiences traumatizes the victims and some of them are still haunted even as they get older, but I'm so glad that both the characters dealt with it and was able to overcome it.

This story were both taken from Karma and Mark's point of views and I don't feel left out. All were properly explain and I love the fact that all the things I hate about romance stories isn't in here. There were of course some few foreign words for me, but so far, I still find this story very easy to read excluding the sexy scenes, which I'll warn you, there's a TON. It was too intense that my face is still red haha.

It took me a lot of time to finish this story that sometimes an idea of just putting it off always came to mind especially when I'm on the part where a too intense sexy scene is present. But I'm so glad that I succeeded and finished the whole story. I'm sure I would have given it a perfect 5-star rating if their arrangement would have been different, you know, minimizing the number of sexy scenes? haha.

The ending was something that will really make you looking forward for the second book and I'm actually tempted. But after what I've been through with those abundant sexy scenes, I guess I could use a month or more before putting myself in that situation again, hah!

Well, I'll be leaving a 3-star rating for now. It's been my first time from the author but so far, it was a good experience. It's good but is totally not a kind of book that I could tuck in when I'm bored while working for I won't get any work done because I'm too flushed with the intense sexy scenes, haha.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Good Karma by Donya Lynne: ⅘ stars
This naive and beautiful character, Karma Mason, had only ever known disappointment, uselessness, and being bullied all through her life. Even now, at the age of 24, she is still the shy, lonely, and again bullied girl she had always been. The one night that Karma is brought into a much different and classic scene with her best friend, Daniel, to an art exhibit party, is when she lets herself forget about reality and enter her fantasy. The catch that Karma isn’t quite aware of, is that once she runs into the troubled past, sex god Mark Strong, he changes her whole entire world and even herself.
In comes Mark Strong, wealthy, handsome, seductive, and a man with sorrowful past. Once Mark has a run in with the person who ruined the way he thought and ruined his feelings, he breaks all over again, even after the occurrence happened six years ago. For the man who can get any women he could possibly want, but he has his rules to follow and protect now, ever since they were broken so long ago, that is; until his eyes land on the stunning Karma Mason, and he wants nothing more than her.
For starters, this book was excruciatingly detailed; reminding me of the Fifty Shades of Grey series, but a more into the fine details of the woman’s body and feelings that overcome. I am personally an enormous fan of the Fifty Shades books and all kinds of detailed and “smut” books. When I had started this book it was slow in the beginning, which for me, usually tells me it isn’t a good book for me; however, I continued and I’m sure glad I did. As time went on in the book, Mark and Karma got more familiar with each other, past history wise, and this is when I actually started to really feel for Karma. Everything she had gone through and still, after all those years, gets tormented by the people from her past. I believe that is when Mark started to think differently towards Karma and his usual rules with the girls he was with changes for the better.
[SMALL SPOILER ALERT]
Towards the end of the book I had become anxious to see if the hard-headed, sex god, Mark Strong, would finally realize that his past was indeed affecting his future and a possible future with Karma. I had been inching to the end of the chapters hoping that Mark and Karma would be together like they should have from the start, but I was left with a cliffhanger and a broken heart.
Through all of the emotions that I had felt reading this novel by Donya Lynne, I am quite excited to read the rest of the ‘Strong Karma Trilogy’ in the near future. After reading this book, it had officially made its way to the top of my Exotic Romance / Mature Romance list.

Oh My!!! Wonderful! Amazing! HOT!!!!!

Good Karma is sooooo good. It’s young & fresh but also mature & exciting. How Donya Lynne manages to have a young woman with such turmoil AND depth along with innocence AND passion….well it’s just amazing writing!!!

Mark - WOW - turns out you CAN teach sex! And what a ride it can be. Such patience! Mark has been betrayed by a woman in the completely worst way a man can be betrayed. He’s promised himself that in order to not ever feel like that again he will not fall in love and he will not allow a woman into his heart. He doesn’t do one night stands but he also doesn’t do long term. He falls somewhere in the middle with his 4-6 month semi-relationships. It’s worked well for him so far….that is until he meets Karma.

Karma is the exception to all rules. She has a way about her that is innocent but she’s so full of passion. She's smart but also naive at the same time. Mark wants her in the worst way but he knows he can’t just use her and leave her. He’s not like that. Karma has a lot of verbal abuse demons she needs to deal with too. She had a hard childhood because of the things her brother and his friends used to say to her. The name calling and things that happened at school are unforgivable. As Mark is bringing her out of her sexual innocence, he’s also making her far more confident. She’s learning that she does have value and that she can stand up for herself. He’s making her feel beautiful and with that feeling comes power!

Mark has been up front with her. He told her that this was a teaching relationship and nothing more. He’s explained that there is a time limit on their “relationship” and she has understood and still wants this experience. What will happen if Mark is the one that wants more? What if Mark decides that Karma is the one? Karma is well aware, early on, that she is going to lose her heart to Mark but will she be able to deal with things once he leaves? Will she go back to being a wallflower?

Good Karma is an amazing read. Seriously…it’s fantastic! I don’t know that I would call the end a horrible cliffhanger, however, there is not closure that’s for sure. The second in this series, Coming Back To You is one I am highly anticipating!

Donya Lynne has a new super fan!!

Good Karma tells the story of quiet and reserved Karma and the seriously hot Mark. After a chance meeting in Chicago, the last thing Karma expects is to see Mark at her office in the small town of Clover, Indiana. When Mark is brought in as a consultant for the company she works for, Karma knows she should ignore the sparks that fly when they're together. Mark's invitation to spend his time in Clover with Karma is too difficult to resist. The one stipulation is this: Mark is monogamous in his trysts, but he doesn't do love or commitments.

I wanted to love this book. I really did. I had a lot of little issues with the book that ultimately led me to the rating I chose. My first issue was the main character. Her name is Karma, not that common of a name, right? I figured there'd be some explanation at some point in the book. Maybe her parents were hippies and gave their kids cosmic names. Until we meet her brother.... yea that shot that theory out the door, traditional name. Then we're introduced to her parents. Normal as far as I can tell.

I had an issue with the dynamic between Karma and Mark. Mark, a modern day Cassanova, has a lot of experience in the bedroom. Karma.... yea not so much. For me, there was way too much talk of Mark's headboard notches. As a woman, I certainly don't want to hear that much about my man's past. I just need to know that he knows what he's doing. For a woman as reserved as Karma, I would think that she would have more of an issue with it.

Over all, I felt the book didn't have enough oomph! The build up for the hot scenes between Karma and Mark were indeed hot, but I felt short changed when all was said and done. I think there was a lot of filler. Everything was just too drawn out. Good Karma is not a stand alone, there is no HEA. I don't see how there's enough material to warrant book 2.

I give this book 3.5 stars.

Wow Just wow

Karma is a shy delicate woman who ends up attending an arts benefit night with her best friend Daniel when his husband gets food poisoning. She decides to step out of her shell for the night and be the bold women she always wants to be.

That's where she meets mark, a sexy but emotionally wounded consultant. After some dancing and flirting the two end up in a passionate embrace however the night does not end as either hoped and both leave blaming themselves. Karma is embarrassed and happy to return to her normal life knowing she will never see him again. That is until Monday morning when he shows up at her work place!

I adored Mark and Karma as a couple. The chemistry was off the charts and the humour had me laughing out loud and earning myself some strange looks. There were so may times I looked up from reading and found a Cheshire grin taking residence on my face. This was a sexy, smart and beautiful book. Karma was amazing, some of the things she came out with were just hilarious and I often sent lines from it in messages to a friend who had also read the book. I realized when I was half way through the book that no one had even had sex yet and I was more than hot under the collar. Which just goes to show if done well you don't need sex to have steam! It was a pleasure to watch Karma grow from a nervous shy woman into the Karma at the end and every woman needs a Mark of their own.

I loved this story & loved all the characters. I loved everything about this book although to stop readers getting frustrated this book should come with a heat warning and old school hand fan, a sexy man and or batteries! It's a hot, sexy, steamy seduction that will leave you needing more than one cold shower.

I rate this: The perfect 10! One of the best books I've ever read & I'm now a prune monster! I also give this 3 flames for heat rating.
Oh hell who am I kidding 10 flames! My kindle is on fire!!!!

I loved this book.

But I'll start with saying I wasn't sure if I would. Why, you ask? Because I was dreading the "I'm so pretty, but I don't know it and need people to fawn over me" female protagonist that seems ever present in romance novels such as Good Karma.

Except, Good Karma isn't your typical romance novel.

And Karma not your typical female protagonist.

Donya Lynne delivers a well written tale about a woman who was so beaten down verbally, she crawled into a hole of self-unawareness and a man who is perfectly chiseled in all the right ways, but a shadow web of broken spirit underneath.

Which leads me to Mark. Seriously, where can I get one? You get the impression that he can see the beauty in any woman, but not just pick out physical attributes, but see beneath the skin. He causes an awakening in Karma that is a joy to watch. And their chemistry? Off the hizzle! Oh yeah, I said it. It's a blast of heat with fireworks and chocolate drizzled on top.

I adore-ADORE-Donya Lynne's writing style. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, even is I went into it with reservations. She delivered characters with depth, a woman who overcame the whispers from her past that told her she wasn't good enough, and a man who still has a way to go but is finding his heart (even if he still thinks he's not ready for it).

This is a must read. Seriously.
I'm thinking of having my hubs read it.
And where can I get that list of Marks Must Reads????

My heart broke!

description

I really appreciated the fact that this book revolves around karma. I like it when I find this theme in a romance and when reincarnation is involved too I'm in seventh heaven! Though there's just karma I liked this story as well.

Characters are well developed and have complex personalities.

I can relate to Mark and Karma. Especially Karma because of her past.
I can't wait to read the sequel *___*

A bit long but good read. Karma Mason decides to take a chance outside her comfort zone and try a one-night stand with the sexy Mark Strong. Her one-night stand quickly becomes so much more and her and Mark are building a relationship. Mark is hired to by the company Karma works for to straighten out some processes meaning they'll be working close together, they attempt to refrain from being together so as not to jeopardize their careers but the chemistry is just to much. When Karma’s co-workers get ahold of the gossip that she and Mark are seeing each other they attempt to use it against her.

This is a pretty good read, I enjoyed the flow of the storyline and the character development. Karma is a bit less experienced then Mark is so he helps her discover herself in the bedroom. This is an emotional read – that ends on a slight cliffhanger.

With so many erotica/romance books out there, it's hard to know when you buy one if it will be any good. I'm so glad I picked this one up through Kindle Unlimited! This is definitely one of the better books out there in these genres.

Karma is a shy girl with a mixed background. She doesn't have a whole lot of experience with men, and that's not a negative thing. It spoke highly of her character for me that she wasn't as experienced as other characters in this genre. One night, she meets Mark Strong, and her world turns upside-down. He takes things slow with her, which really helped to build both of their characters and the chemistry between them.

The book was an easy, fast read. I enjoyed all the characters, including the supporting cast. The author did a great job with pacing the story and keeping me interested throughout. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read book 2!
