This should have been a cute little romp, and it was for the most part. A veritable salad of tropes: long-term (10 years) unrequited on both sides tossed with the forbidden fruit of BF's little sister a little makeover madness and disapproving parents.

It was ruined for me by the OTT judgmental actions of the H when he finds the h sashaying her rear at a honky tonk. Further spoiled by the jackass actions of her parents when they shunned the H, a man they took in as a surrogate son, because he didn't tattle on her.

Really couldn't get on board with this one - they both behaved like brats and she was even more so with her condoning of the way he was treated so she could get revenge.

I cannot say how much I loved this book! First off hello Ryan! Who wouldn't want to read a book with a modern day rodeo riding cowboy. I know just the cover alone prompted me to want to read this book...then I read the synopsis. If I was Twyla I would be frustrated to. Not only does the cowboy that she loves not want anything to do with her for fear of upsetting his pseudo family but she can feel it that he wants her back.
The way Becky McGraw draws us unto Twyla's character you just can't help but to feel bad for her. She has had to big brutes sheltering her for her whole life. Now it's time to leave Zach and Ryan by the wayside and go live a little. Unfortunately she winds up in a world of hurt! This book is full of plot turns and twists that will keep you guessing all the way through. Man how I love a good clean cowboy romance with a HEA and this book has it all! I stayed up until the early morning hours to finish Ryan and Twyla's story! Great Job Becky McGraw!

'Cowgirl Crazy', Cowboy Way book 2 by Becky McGraw is a fantastic read! This is the story of Twyla Taylor and Ryan Easter who both made appearances in 'Hope For Christmas' the novella that kicked off this series as well as in 'Just Shoot Me' book 1 of The Cowboy Way Series. This story grabs you from the very beginning and you won't want to put it down! I absolutely loved Twyla and Ryan. There are several moments in this story that will have you cracking up! I loved the romance, the heat - whiskey will never look the same again! Oh and wait until you meet Boney! I highly recommend this book and the Cowboy Way series to everyone that loves romance and cowboys! Looking forward to seeing what happens next in this series!

Ryan Easter can be an absolute ass. However, I fell in love w/him from the first sentences I ever read. Twyla doesn't let him off easy & that makes this story one helluva a ride. It is in my top 20 of books. U will laugh, cry, or get mad. That is the best part of reading. All the emotions are suppose to be there. Read between the lines of the book because in the end u will love it. :DI have cried my eyeballs out reading the last chapter. I don't wanna see it end. I am so attached to these characters. Have been since i proofed the first sentences. They are tears of joy but tears none the same. I don't usually get this upset when reading but damn Becky u brought out the water works. Yes, Twyla & Ryan need one more book!

I really try to find some positive in all of the books I read, but this was was ROUGH. This book needed an editor - or a better one - BIG TIME!!! There were spelling errors, improper sentences, dangling thoughts ugh... Sometimes I had to reread a section to try to understand what was being said.

If that wasn't bad enough, the content of the story was ALL over the place. This girl was beyond too stupid to live. I didn't think it was cute or warm or anything this story was supposed to be.

None of the characters in this story were likable. I kind of didn't care if they ALL ended up dead at the end and that's not how you should feel with this type of book!

I'll wait a moment for those of you who don't like harsh language. Go ahead. Shut the page.

What the fuck is this author thinking? Twyla should have had Ryan arrested for stalking. Fuck. That. He's a controlling ass who acts like an entitled baby. Why does she love him? Who knows? And who cares.

Let's be honest: Twyla thinks working at a bar shaking her ass makes her "trash". It doesn't. She's working her own way up to get herself a future that she likes instead of coasting through life. And when Ryan shows up she should have sent him packing. The fact that she doesn't and that she believes him is just such a huge crock of shit.

Rant off. I'm done.

Now this my friends is how you write a story, with just enough sass, strong women with a mind of her own, alpha males, murder, love, romance and the list goes on. This is one book that will steal your heart, make you sad and keep you laughing. I don’t even know where to begin there is just so much happening between these pages. You will not be sorry you bought this book and you will want the next book ASAP.

Poor Twyla has been in love with Ryan for over 10 years, she has taken verbal abuse from this tough and rough cowboy who does his best to keep her safe from all men including his self. Something just aren’t meant to be as Twyla finds out. One too many words and she has had enough, he is on his own along with her over protective family. She tells him where he can stick it along with all his little girl bunnies that are chasing him. She packs up and moves on, going to take her life back and live it to the fullest.

Ryan has tried for over 10 years to keep and treat Twyla like a sister, every time he thinks about hooking up with her he talks his self out of it. But man he would almost give anything for one taste of her lips and that sexy little butt that is so perfect. He is blow away that he words hurt her so much she packed up and left him. He just wanted to keep her at a distance and keep her safe. He has a few lessons to learn in life and it looks like he is going to do it that hard way.

Her brother sends him off to go bring her back. She isn’t moving, she is standing her ground even if she has to kick his butt to do so. Now this is where the fun begins, this is a very entertaining read that will keep you guessing and saying NO HE DIDN’T oh yes he did, NO SHE DIDN’T, OMG yes she did. I thought I would dying laughing when Ryan gets in a fight and gets his nose busted. Not being able to find anything to stop the bleeding but one of Twyla tampons and he pushed it up his nose…take my word for it you don’t want to miss this read. I thought I would die when he drop his towel and she brought is male ego down. This is just the tip of the things that is pulled and happen in this book.

From the first page this author ties you in and keeps you glued as you turn the pages to find the next thing these two get into. The passion from these two you can feel it burn the pages as you flip through reading each word. This is a book you will stay up late to read and it is well worth the read.

There is so much passion, pain that it reaches way inside you, the author makes you feel the pain and the love. I highly recommend that you lasso this book and take the ride of your life. This will keep you laughing on a high one minute and brings you low the next. This will be one author that when you see her name you will know it is going to be an outstanding read.

First let me say that I absolutely love Becky’s form of writing. She is able to make everyday life disappear once you start reading her books. This one was just that way. Ohhhhh I did not like Ryan at first. He was just a plain ole ass. But once we got to know more about him and his life, a soft spot grew for him. By the end of the story, he had a place in my heart. As to Twyla, she was nothing but spunky and held her own throughout the story. She was my hero for standing up for what she believed in, true love.

Twyla Taylor was nothing more than a tomboy who grew up riding and breathing the life of the rodeo. When she was old enough to go out on the rode to complete, she had nothing to worry about because her brother, Zack and his best friend, Ryan, made sure she was ok and no other cowboys or rodeo clowns approached her. But she only had eyes for one cowboy, Ryan even if he never looked at her that way, she was happy with the friendship that she was able to have with him. She knew she was nothing like the bucket bunnies that flocked around him but she believed that one day he would wake up and see the woman that she was and they would be together.

Ryan Easter left home and was welcomed by the Taylor family with open arms. He watched his best friend’s little sister, Twyla grows up from being a skinny little girl to a breath taking beauty with legs a mile long. He knew he should not be thinking about her like that but he had to fight his desire for her. So he placed those desires on all the bucket bunnies and women that Zack and he meet at the rodeos and bars.

When Twyla decides to make a clean start, she leaves her family behind to start a new life in Dallas. She begins to work at a bar. Although she is not comfortable at first, it pays well and she needs the money. Once Ryan finds out where she is, he tries to make her see that she does not belong in a bar.

As he tries to convince her, they give into their forbidden desires for each other. Twyla decides that if she is going to have the one night that she had dreamed about for years with Ryan, she is willing to give him all of herself. Ryan throws caution to the wind, taking all he can of her.

After going back to the rodeo, life bucks both their lives back together. End in the end, lines are drawn and families are scattered. But we all know that love has away of heals all broken hearts. Is it time for Ryan and Twyla to find their happiness with each other? Will they be able to deal with the aftermath of the Taylor family? Can Ryan get over losing his mom but gaining a new family?

4 out of 5 stars ARC for Review

Ryan Easter had a rough childhood until the Taylor family took him in as a teenager. They became the family he never had as their son became his best friend and their younger daughter was also one of his closest friend. For years he had realized he feels more than friends for her but resists her knowing that his best friend Zach would kill him if he crossed that path if her dad did not. So instead he has been having one night stands trying to ease his frustrations on the rodeo circuit and trying to put distance between them.

Twyla Taylor is a barrel racer doing the rodeo scene with her overly protective brother Zach and the man she fell in love as a teenager Ryan Easter. Her barrel racing career has been floundering like her love life as Ryan will not pay her any heed treating her as a baby sister. One night after Ryan pushes her too far, she quits the rodeo circuit and goes to Dallas and meets up with her friend.

Ryan heads to Dallas a couple weeks later to apologize and take her back home. On his arrival he finds Twyla has changed and is no longer has the tomboy look and has gone through a transformation. Finding her working at a bar where she is strutting herself in sexy shorts with money stuffed in her waistband while doing body shots with another waitress. He cannot help be memorized like the rest of the male patrons.

Once he regains himself he tries to get her to leave with him but she refuses and gets beaten up by the bar bouncers. Eventually he follows her home with her roommate and the roommate sprays him with mace. Twyla feels a bit sorry for him as his nose is still bleeding from the fight and his eye is swelling as she cleans him up and let him stay the night.

Things heat up with them as they learn more about each other. Can they just be friends or will they break their boundaries? Will this break up the only family he has ever known and will her family treat her as an adult?

A fast paced read as we watch them grow together and taking control of things as life throws unexpected curves. Learning that no matter being there for each other is the most important thing.

Series: Cowboy Way #2
Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Received from: Becky McGraw (in exchange for an honest review)
Grammar/editing: A – near perfect

This is the second book in the Cowboy Way series. They each stand alone, but are, in my opinion, much more enjoyable when read in order.

In JUST SHOOT ME, Cord convinces his brother Dean to allow him and two friends to raise some rough stock bulls to be used on the rodeo circuit. Those two friends are Ryan and Zack. Zack is Twyla’s overprotective brother and Ryan is a surrogate brother brought into the family after trouble in his own home when he was a teenager. In order to maintain the relationship with the family, even at 28, Ryan follows a strict hands-off policy when it comes to Twyla. Instead he lets her see the revolving door of buckle bunnies visiting his trailer in each city. Pushing her away until she finally leaves and then his heart knows he must follow her to protect her.

This book is funny, serious, heartbreaking, and then downright hilarious in parts. I loved that Ryan’s last name is Easter. All of those buckle bunnies want to be Easter’s bunny! (bwahahaha) Twyla doesn’t want to be a bunny, a rodeo-groupie. She knows she is a tomboy racing the barrels. She doesn’t do girly-girl, makeup, or fancy clothes. She wants Ryan on her own terms or not at all.

I had a rough day yesterday. This book was the perfect remedy and escape from my realities. Isn’t that what we all want in a book? It pulled me in from page one and wouldn’t let me go. I think I only slept about two or three hours last night, because Ryan, Twyla, and Zack were calling me back to Texas. The nervous tension, the suspense, the fights, the flirts, and the steam were all perfectly measured and served.

Ms. McGraw, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be included in your release day. Thank you for a wonderful story … and you left enough breadcrumbs, that I’m sure I know whose story is next .

Twyla calls it quits, she has had enough of lusting after her brother's best friend, a man that has been like a surrogate brother to her. So she had decided that it's best if she moves on. Her best friend Heather gets her a job at Cowgirl Crazy. Now what is cowgirl crazy you ask it is Becky McGraw's version of Coyote Ugly except maybe a little bit more raunchy and with better bouncers. So Twyla is dancing half naked and earning enough money to board her horse and take lessons in shooting so she can start with her new dream doing Cowboy Mounted Shooting Competitions. Ryan is sent by the family to bring back Twyla because she has no doubt got herself into trouble hanging out with Heather. Ryan never expects her to be dancing like a stripper. First he over-reacts and
and starts with the wrong assumption pissing her off, then he schools her in the school of hard knocks and treats her harshly but it's a lesson she needs to learn if she insists on going down that path. Even after that and a night of grand passion between the two where they both finally admit that they have wanted one another for the last ten years, Ryan finally gives into Twyla's wishes and leaves her to do whatever she wants.

Twyla's over-protective upbringing is her downfall when she meets someone who says he is something he's not and it all goes to shit. Ryan is tore up about it and to make matters worse the family disowns him because he kept Twyla's secret and his past comes back and puts the icing on the cake. Together can Twyla and Ryan make things right but only when they finally admit it's more then just lust. I love Becky McGraw's Cowboy romances they get down to the nit and gritty they make you cry and make you laugh and always ends with a proper HEA.

I have not read a 'Cowboy/Cowgirl" themed book since I was a kid who only read Horse stories, I loved these and always dreamed of riding the ranges (Still on the bucket list to do - Ride the Grand Canyon, Muster Cattle over the range)

So when I had the chance to read this book for the Blog Tour, and it was able to be read as a Standalone book I jumped at the chance.

The story is about Twyla Taylor, she travels the Rodeo circuit with her Brother Zach and his Best friend and adopted brother Ryan.

Now thats where Twy's problems lay... She has been in love with Ryan for 10 years, but he has made it very clear he's only interested in her as a "brother".

He finally crushes her heart into the dust for the last time and she decides to do as he suggested, and "get a life". So she heads off to Dallas with her faithful horse Tango, and her friend Heather, who has a job lined up for her.

Ryan Easton loves the Taylor family, after leaving home to get away from his abusive Step-father his best friend Zack took him home and his family took him in, he finally had someone to show him what a family should be. Ryan has been pushing Twyla Taylor away and he's, kept the attraction he feels toward her to himself, but when she finally listens to him and leaves, he can't help following her to check she's ok.

When he finds out what she's been up to for the past 2 weeks he is beside himself, and Fireworks erupt! Can Twyla finally get through to him that she's NOT HIS SISTER? or will Ryan stubbornly carry on denying how he truly feels.

I really enjoyed reading this book, its well written, flows well and I read it almost in one sitting (My Ipad went flat - otherwise I think I would have read this straight through) and I am going to be adding some more of Ms McGraw's books on my TBR

Ryan Easter and Twyla Taylor have secretly loved each other for 10 years. Twyla hasn’t been so secretive in her affection for Ryan. Zach, Twyla’s brother and Ryan have always been protective of her and scare away any guy that shows interest in her. They have been doing the rodeo circuit together for 10years. One day Ryan and Twyla get in another fight. He is trying to push her away so that he doesn’t have to deal with the way he feels for her. He feels like he owes her family for helping him when he was younger. Twyla has had enough with it and decides she is done with the rodeo and decides to go live with her friend in Dallas. To start living her life and doing what she wants instead of what everyone else wants. Zack tells Ryan to go get her and bring her back, so he goes to Dallas to see what Twyla is doing there. He doesn’t like what he finds and thus starts their journey. I really liked this book. This book was a little different than the first book in this series. They have known each other for a long time and have been fighting feelings for each other for just about the whole time. It took her leaving for him to realize that he didn’t want to fight those feelings anymore and wanted to prove how much he loves her to her. The book takes some turns I wasn’t expecting but loved. The ending was fantastic. They really love each other and would do anything for each other. The book was an emotional rollercoaster. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. After reading the first two books in the series I went and book the set the novella is in. It is about Cord and Hope. I love how all the characters are in all the books.

I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Don't Start to Read This Unless You Have Time to Read it All

Once again Becky McGraw has written a book I could not put down until I finished.
Twyla and Ryan are perfect for each other, Twyla has loved him ten years the only problem is he treats her like a little sister or makes her mad. Ryan has feelings for Twyla but first she's his best friends sister and second he doesn't feel like he can do a lasting relationship and that is what Twyla deserves. So Twyla gives up and leaves, before too long though Ryan has to follow and make sure she's okay. What he finds makes him want to protect her and get her to at least give up the job she has taken. The problem is he goes about it all wrong and makes her angry.
I actually liked Ryan right from the beginning and kind of felt sorry for him because you could see he was fighting his feelings right from the beginning. Yes he does a few things wrong but so did Twyla. I liked Twylaf but sometimes she frustrated me with how destructive her behavior could be.
Their story made me laugh, cry and sometimes want reach in and slap almost every person in the story at some point or another. I had to read from start to finish to see how and if everyone worked things out. Becky McGraw has a real talent for drawing you into her characters and into their stories. She is and probably will always be one author I read her books without a doubt that she will write a good story and that it will never disappoint me.

Ryan and Twyla have been in love with each other for so many years but neither knows about it. Ryan and Zach, Twylas brother have been very overprotective of her and effectively ensure that no men will pursue her. She doesn’t want any other men, she wants Ryan, but as she is his friend’s sister he knows that she is out of bounds for him and continues to resist his true feelings.

There is only so much a person can take and so after one massive argument, Twyla decides enough is enough and moves on with her life. When Ryan is sent to find her, she doesn’t give in easily, and who can blame her? I loved the dynamics and conversations between these two as they are both so stubborn and it definitely packs a punch. Underneath all this anger is sooo much tension and frustration between the two and you are just waiting for it all to be unleashed. Will they finally give into temptation? Or will Twyla just decide that she has had too much?

I haven’t really read much of Becky McGraws work but this for me was a truly brilliant book. The characters, pace of the story and the overall plot and how things play out was perfect. Along with all the heat and chemistry between the two we are given humour and so many emotions are brought forth with this book. I was captivated throughout and thoroughly enjoyed this book, and from this I will certainly read the next instalment and work from her in the future!

No matter what Twyla Taylor does, she can’t win at barrel racing. Or get the man she’s been in love with forever to notice her. She’s been mooning over Ryan Easter ever since her brother brought the trouble young man home to be a part of their family. When she finally confronts him with her feelings, Ryan shuts her down. Hurt and determined to get on with life, Twyla heads to Dallas to pursue a new dream.
Despite growing more and more in love with the young woman he’s always tried to think of a sister, Ryan brushes Twyla off when she admits her feelings for him. He just can’t betray the adopted family that took him in when he needed a family most and taking up with their daughter seems like the wrong thing to do.
However, when Twyla flees the rodeo circuit he can’t concentrate until he knows she is safe. Ryan heads to the big city to make sure of that. Unfortunately, when he sees her dancing at a Dallas bar in next to nothing, being brother-like is that last thing on his mind.
I loved this story. It’s sexy, fun, and there were many twists and turns. I wasn’t sure how things were going to turn out. But like the title says, sometimes a lady has to go a little cowgirl crazy to catch her man, or tame an ornery pony.
Cowgirl crazy is the second in the new cowboy way series by Becky McGraw and I can’t wait to read the third.

What do you do when the man you've loved for almost your whole life doesn't feel the same? When he treats you like a little sister and tries to run your life? Well, if you're Twyla Renee Taylor, you pack up your horse and you leave town, determined to make it on your own. And, if you're Ryan Easter, said man, you pick right up and go after the girl, because she can't possibly make it on her own.

'Cowgirl Crazy' is the second book in 'The Cowboy Way series,' and is full of Becky McGraw's signature details. All of the characters are very nicely developed, with big personalities. Twyla and Ryan are great; watching them interact while their story evolves is as entertaining as it is sexy. Because, along with all the heat and chemistry, there is also a lot of humor, another trademark of Becky's writing. Seeing Twyla and Ryan bring out the best in each other makes for a sweet and romantic read. As well, the supporting characters, especially Twyla's brother Zack and her friend Heather, really help make the story that much more interesting.

Although relatively new to her books, I have become a fan of Becky. There's not much sexier than a hot cowboys, and she writes great stories full of them. 'Cowgirl Crazy' is no exception, and I very much recommend it. I look forward to reading Zack's story, 'Too Hot To Trot,' in the near future.

Twyla and Ryan. This story had more meat on it than I was expecting. Twyla has had a crush on Ryan since she was 16. He has been keeping her at arms length because he is pseudo adopted by her family when he was 12 and she was 9 or so. Now she's 26 and has faced her last rejection by Ryan. She goes to the city and moves in with an old friend who works at bar, kinda like Coyote Ugly. They dance but they don't strip. So there's some questionable slut shaming that kinda irked me. I gotta say, I did not care much for Ryan til the last 3rd of the story. When he finally faces the truth of his feelings for her, the story became less predictable and more interesting. I still did not like her brother by the end of the book, and felt he owed Ryan some serious grovelling. So I doubt I'll read his story even if I did like Twyla's friend who is the h in that story.
If I thought Twyla and Ryan would be in that story, I'd buy it in a flash, cause I'd love to sneak a peak into their HEA.
I did enjoy the book, but 10 years was WAAAYYY too long

This book does have some sexual scenes so it may not be for everyone. Becky McGraw I loved this story. I couldn't put it down. I had to finish it before I went to bed. This story revolves around Ryan Easter. Zack Taylor has been his friend forever and his family is Ryan's family. They took him under their care when he was a young teen. Twyla Taylor is Zack's sister and they all three travel with the rodeo. Ryan does Bronc's, Zack does Bull's and Twyla does barrel racing. Ryan has always had feelings for Twyla since she was sixteen, but he never acted on them, because he thought of her as his sister. Ryan is a love them and leave them cowboy and Twyla hates that. He is always with a buckle bunny. What Twyla doesn't know is Ryan has always thought of her when he was with someone else. Ryan always manages to make her mad so she stays away from him. Things change when Twyla gets fed up and Ryan tells her to get a life. She calls her friend Heather and goes to Dallas to live with her. She gets her a job where she works, It a club and she dances and waits tables. When she leaves Zack sends Ryan to bring her back. Easier said then done. You will love this story and the characters I know I did. Congratulations Becky on another great book. Awesome read

this is my first experience in the writing style of this author and I found this book to be very enjoyable.
Twyla has been in love with Ryan for over ten years and has been waiting. for him to see her as something besides his best friend's sister. When she finally sees it aint gonna happen she takes off to start a new life.
Ryan has been a part of Twyla's life for 14 years.and the feelings he has for her are no where near familial but for fear of losing the only family he ever had he refuses to act on them.He does anything and everything he can to push her away. Then one night he succeeds beyond his wildest dreams and realizes he just lost the best thing in his life.
The romance between the two is hard won and Twyla makes him work for it all the way. When things fall apart for both Ryan and Twyla it is very emotional. Ryan especially touched my heart with his over protectiveness and the reasons behind it almost made me cry.
The happily ever after the couple gets was hard won and made this a nice, sweet story.
I am looking forward to maybe getting into Twyla's friend Heather story. She has a past that I am dying to.delve in to.
I think if you like a more traditional love story then this book is for you.Has small amount of sex and goes perfect with the layout of this story.

This was the 1st book I've read by Becky McGraw & it won't be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The writing was superb & the characters were strong!

We have Ryan Easter who have a rough childhood and was raised pretty much by his best friends family, Zack. Zack & Ryan are rodeo junkies & super protective of Zack's sissy, Twyla. Twyla & Ryan both have this connection that they both fight until Twy can't take it anymore after one of Ryan's rude outburst! So she runs hours away to "get a life" with her best friend! Twy gets herself into trouble dancing at the Crazy Cowgirl thanks to her BFF! Ryan goes find her & tries to save her from herself before her family finds out!

The story had me hooked! There were many surprises & twists! However, Ryan & Twyla annoyed me! Ryan was an arrogant ass that I would've told off in a heart beat as Twyla did several times! He did, however, change his attitude & grow on me! Twy was a bit poor me & negative! She often wallowed in self pity which frankly I can't stand! BUT she too changed her attitude & redeemed herself! But can both of them be saved before it's too late? Will her family forgive them when tragedy strikes? Can't wait for Zack's story & more from this amazing author!

I was given this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a romantic story about Ryan Easter and Twyla Taylor. Ryan has been living with Twyla’s family since he was sixteen. He and her brother Zack are best friends. Twyla has had a crush on Ryan since he moved in with them. Ryan has feelings for Twyla, but respects her brother and her family too much to ever act on them. Riding Broncos and living on the circuit Ryan and Zack are always together; Twyla follows them everywhere they go trying to make it at barrel racing.

This is where the story begins….

Extremely well written, this story follows Twyla as she tries to separate herself and become her own person. Always trying to fix everything, Ryan goes to bring her home after she leaves for Dallas…

I liked this story, never having read Ms. McGraw books before. I thought the story, plot, characters and events flowed well. A sexy story about relationships, being raised held in a bubble and not living life because you were protected, this is a perfect romance book. The sex scenes were hot and well written. The story line was exceptional and the ending was so fitting, it was perfect.

Great work Ms. McGraw. I will be reading more from you in the future.

Cowgirl Crazy book 2 is another ah-freaking-mazing read from Becky McGraw.
I don't do spoilers, you get my opinion, a few of my favorite parts of the story and a rating.
This is Ryan & Twyla's story, which if you have read the synopsis you know what this ones about, what you don't know is how the story grabs you and sucks you in in the first few chapters and dares you to put your kindle down!!
I adore Twyla's sassy spirit and her take no crap attitude with Ryan but I also adore Ryan's over protective instinct.
These two butt heads numerous times throughout the story and I loved it. Eventually Twyla decides he's pushed her too far, she's done an heads to Dallas.
Leaving behind a lost Ryan.
Ryan goes after her to make sure she's okay and finds his sassy cowgirl doing things he never imagined, shocking poor Ryan.
The lesson he teaches her has to be one of my favorite parts of this book, yes it was tough love but she deserved it!!
The last few chapters are my absolute favorite part, everyone coming to terms with what has happened in their lives and where their futures are headed. Love love love McGraw's sexy, bossy, protective cowboys and can't wait for the next one!

Every book I read by Becky McGraw is the same, FANTASTIC!! I fell in love with Ryan and Twyla from the first page. Ryan is great, he is a handsome, sexy, charming, funny bronc rider. But, I couldn't help but wish I could knock some sense in to him sometimes when it came to Twyla! He knows how she feels about him, but instead of examining his feelings for her, he makes her mad and moves on to his next buckle bunny. Twyla is sexy, funny, independent and frustrated with her life. She is a barrel racer, but not winning a lot and she has a 10 year crush on Ryan, who only thinks of her as a sister. Fed up with her older brother and Ryan being so overprotective of her, Twyla leaves the rodeo circuit behind and goes in search of her own life. This leads to all kinds of problems, some of which made me laugh, some made me cry and some made me angry. If you love modern day cowboy romance then this book is definitely for you. Follow Ryan and Twyla as they find their way to each other and I know that you will enjoy the ride as much as I did. Great job, Becky McGraw, keep 'em coming. And by the way I absolutely loved the tampon scene, it had me laughing out loud!!

I've read other Becky McGraw books where the story was well-developed. I'm not sure what happened with this book, Cowgirl Crazy, the 2nd of this Cowboy Series! The story was disjointed and non-congruent. It did not flow well. And there was so much repetition of internal thoughts...blah, blah, blah. I skipped over reading so much that was not needed to get the situational dialogue across. Grammatical errors really stood out. I'm quite surprised this author released this work. It's definitely comparable to a "B" movie when her others are motion pictures staring in the box office for the weekend. It's very raw. Not much romance. I can't believe I stayed up all night reading this with the result being such a rushed ending. The love interests in Cowgirl Crazy have two flashes of romantic, real connection of which both are incomplete. Not once did these two make love...just f'ing and they're finally together after 11 long years! Ridiculous. Disappointing.

I liked the 1st book in this new series with Dean, but this, Ryan's, story is so lacking of quality writing. McGraw's Trouble Series is much better.

If you love a great love story with a cowboy as the leading man then this is the book for you.

Ryan Easton had a horrible childhood, but thanks to his best friend Zack Taylor he knew what family love was. The Taylors took him as one of their own, at age 15 he instantly had a mom, dad, brother and a sister. But for the last 10 years he has pushed aside the feeling he's been having for his "sister". Ryan has been pushing away Twyla Taylor, he keeps telling himself she's his "sissy". But he knows he's just fooling himself.

Twyla Taylor has been in love with Rayn for 10 years but she knows it is time to move on, since he has made it very clear he's only interested in her as a "brother". But how will she knows is going to be very difficult since he owns her heart and every single thought in her mind.

Can Ryan stop seeing Twyla as his sister and face his true feelings for her? Or Will he just give up out of respect of his best friend and the man he loves as a father?

This was a great love story, and the best part you can read it as a stand alone book.
