Reread;
My heart still aches for Stefan in this book. His past isn’t pretty and he has trouble with dealing with it. But him trying to do what is best for Sasha with Toa was the last thread, he completely owns my heart and soul. The chemistry between Sasha and Stefan is still off the charts HOTTTT, the continues banter between Sasha and Charles is so freaking hilarious, and the new bond with Jonas is a shocker but what a wonderful surprise it is.
4🔥🔥🔥🔥
‘Demons’ is book four in K.F Breene’s Darkness series. This story continues on from ‘On a Razor’s Edge’. Highly Recommend previous books are reading prior to this.
Sasha now the clans Mage and co-leader, soon to be mated officially to Stefan, she finds her self now having to act like a leader while still trying to learn her magic. When out on a routine border check what is found is going to push Sasha to grow a backbone and rule beside her mate. But in the process of finder herself she may loose Stefan when his past comes back to haunt him.
I’m just loving this series, each and everyone of the characters play a special role in Sasha’s life. The loveable funny and sometimes immature brother figure Charles, the hotheaded short tempered protector Jonas, vampire looking eye staring lecturer Toa, the newly father figure Dominicus and lastly but don’t let him hear that he was last the overly protective sexy Boss Stefan. All unique and all bring something that helps keeps Sasha centred, protected and grow.
The pages of this book were just exploding with so much going on. Having a past enemy showing up with new problems and troubles for Sasha and Stefan to deal with. Past secrets revealed, new alliances, and new dangers.
The characters continue to grow and attach to your heart. Jonas was the biggest shock of all in this book, from book one ‘Into the Darkness’ Jonas has been a thorn in Sasha’s life, leaving her to die, threatening to use her body, but he is now a determined protector of Sasha and will do everything to make sure she is safe. Even if it’s from himself as she pushes and irritates his patience. Seeing a vulnerable and broken side of Stefan was torturous, my heart went out to him when he recalls his past to Sasha, I just wanted rap my arms around him.
I just love this series and can’t wait to see what happens next in ‘The Council’, so I’ll be ending this review here, but before I go I’ll leave this quote from Charles as it had me in stitches.
“Well, goody, rainbows and unicorns. Lovely working conditions.” - Charles
