I don't know how the authors are going to handle this, but so far Ari has been coming off as someone who is a sanist, someone who has internalized neuro-discrimination. Since the subject of his son was brought up, in fact, it's been disgusting and frustrating to see him want his son Maqi to act or be what he is not.

There's no confirmation so far about Maqi's real condition specifically, yet there's some behaviors that will lead the audience to think of autism, for example. What kind of message is it that the boy's own father wants to cure his condition, and has attempted to in multiple ways? Therapy and tools to help specific disorders, cognitive impairment, etc can be really helpful, but the objective isn't to make someone go from neurodivergent to neurotypical, from autism to allism, and so on and so forth.

I really hope this arc doesn't end in a "fix it" cliché for someone's sanist wet dreams. That's such a terrible message and a faux pas already back in the early 2000s. It just reflects ignorance and prejudice.

yup, orube still annoys me lmao AND I AM LOVING how powerful yua seems to be?? it looks like she can make great damage and i love the high stakes and danger djdjd they have to band together against ari, they have to! they all, collectively want to defeat him in one way or another, for different reasons and i'd love to see ALL the girls working together!

Mi piace la piega che stanno prendendo le cose: Will benché ancora inesperta dimostra di essere un leader capace e abbastanza giusto, Taranee sempre ferma sulla sua posizione, Cornelia sempre sotto un treno per Caleb e rifiuta gli altri ragazzi(ne ha colpito uno in faccia con un frisbee, poi lui le riempirà la stanza di fiori), Orube dal carattere piuttosto complesso che parte in quarta (contro il povero vicino spione è stata piuttosto divertente) ed è spesso in lite con Irma (che non la sopporta), Ari che interroga Yua sui punti deboli delel guardiane e l'oracolo sempre lo stesso finto deus ex machina. Le ragazze si recano ancora una volta ad Arkhanta per far cambiare parere ad Ari e si ritrovano a pigiare l'uva in un villaggio e a salvarlo successivamente da un tornado mandatogli contro proprio da Ari. Orube che si è rifiutata di aiutarle poiché vuole liberare la banshee si ritrova Irma che le sbatte in faccia verità poco piacevoli. Oh e abbaiamo un piccolo stacchetto su Caleb e Elyon. Not all bad.

Sinceramente, no entiendo la necesidad de Irma y Orube de pelearse porque sí. Sería más normal o comprensible si alguna de las dos hubiera hecho algo que hubiera dañado emociones a la otra, pero literalmente llevan así desde que se conocieron. Irma me gusta mucho pero me ha parecido un poco hipócrita aquí. Ella misma le dijo a Orube «no te necesitamos ahora ni nunca», dejándola de lado, y poco después Irma se pone a echarle las culpas a Orube por no haber ayudado... La rechazas, la dejas fuera y te quejas de que se queda fuera... No tiene sentido, Irma.
Igualmente entiendo que son adolescentes de 14 años.
