CL is eclectic, geeky, positive, nature-loving and completely non-"normal" (just the way she likes to be). She has been a fan of literature since she was a small child and finally decided to take her dreams (both waking and sleeping!) and do something positive with them.

CL has lived all over the world and has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, minoring in Psychology and Forensics. Which means you don't want to cross her because she knows how and where to hide a body so it's never found! She proudly admits to hearing voices in her head, but at times, her characters' impromptu visits can be rude and annoying. Thankfully, she has adequate patience for their shenanigans and can out ninja them any day of the week.

CL's voice is boisterous, sassy, and not finished yet! Stay tuned!

Essence of Vengeance picks up where Tone of Betrayal leaves off. The Cortez sisters continue to fight to survive despite the surfacing of Nidor's mate, Miraj. Not to be led astray from their mission to find and kill Moreno, the sisters bond together to help each other from each hardship they encounter. But when Saber is missing and another of the sisters is suddenly kidnapped, the remaining sisters must react wisely or all will have been in vain.

I cannot comment on the spelling or grammar in this novel because the copy I received was an unedited ARC.

I'd recommend the Imprint Series to anyone who enjoys a good shifter series that focuses more on sense of self and family or action than romance and sexual themes. This series is perfect for older teens and adults looking for reads with strong heroines and familial bonding.

Overall, I adored this third book. I'm still floored by the crazy twists and turns the story has taken so far. The characters truly have grown and developed wonderfully and each sister is more mature for the experiences they have been through. I could sing praises for these books all day, every day, but when it comes right down to it, they are truly brilliant. I can't wait to pick up the next and final book in the series, however. I just have to know how it ends!

I really loved getting to know Nidor better. The story takes a few unexpected turns and I loved just about every minute of it. Kind of wished to get to know the girls dad a bit more. That twist threw me for a loop.

Nidor though is my type of girl with her quiet self, hidden romantic side and her whit. Secretly craving romance yet pushing it away at every turn. The last to know who her very own mate is at that.

Celeste drives me insane and I'm not sure I can trust the new girl introduced. Her character makes me wonder if she's in league with the evil rotten queen herself.

I cannot wait to read the last and final installment. Get to know Saber a bit more and hope that Celeste gets what's coming to her! Grrrrr..... She must die! Or so I hope!

C.L. Foster has given us a fast paced book three. The Cortez sisters are determined to put an end to the power that their enemies hold over them and their allies. The shape shifting sisters and their mates are on the trail of Moreno, the girls father, with the plan to rid his reign of destruction and death.
I have been reading this series since it's inception and have become engrossed in the special powers and personalities of the Clouded Leopard shifter family.
C.L. Foster has a way with words and characters that puts you in the story.
