Great Beginnings!
I really liked this story because it takes you back to when shifters still lived in hiding and knew very little about the modern world, they still lived in dens in the wilderness and the outside world saw them as animals, freaks of nature. It also hints at how modernization began to destroy the woods and nature they lived in, forcing these creatures to hide among civilization.
It is a love story set during those troubled times and how this very small pack must survive it... It is a love born between Sarah a human and Cain an Alpha werewolf and how together they forge an unbreakable bond during a very difficult time.
There is so much reality in this story, a reality that has been lived under different circumstances.
I can't wait to read her next story in this great series.
Viola has managed to mix reality into a paranormal story, very well written Ms Rivard, I highly recommend this book.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this was a lot better than I expected to be. It's the story of Sarah, an ordinary woman who ends up stranded in the woods. She runs into a wolf shifter, Cain, who reluctantly ends up helping her. Cain can't understand his wolf's attraction to the woman. But it soon becomes clear to him that she's his mate. They travel together as he tries to get her back to safety and of course end up falling for each other. But in this world, there's a distinct line between humans and shifters. So the dangers to Cain and his pack from the human world are all too real.
Sarah and Cain were a good couple. It may have been lust at first sight with those two, but they had to fight through a lot of baggage to get to a good place. I enjoyed reading their story.

love this series
These books and this author are some of the best books . I read them when KU was new, she quit writing but the books are classics for me now. Sarah breaks down in the wilds and is saved by a handsome werewolf named Cain. She goes back to his pack to help with a sick pup and falls in love w Cain and his pack.

Easy, fast, and enjoyable read.
I love the pack, as a family unit, it was what made the story richer. The love between Sarah and Cain was great to watch evolve. Also there was excitement due to how weres are treated in her book world.

I love this series
I hope the author continues to write as I’ve purchased all her works for my kindle. I see she hasn’t published anything in 4years though that makes me sad.

Sarah is in an accident and is lost and cold and uncertain if she will live the night in winter .. then in comes a werewolf and she follows it to a small cave only to meet a man named Cain ... but there is attraction and fireworks between them though Cain fights the need to be with her and Sarah is attracted to him he is going back to his pack but finds a lone soldier but no pack members and where is Greystone and will they find his pack and will Cain let her go or make her see that she is his mate or is she and does she want to stay or will she walk away from a man whom she can fall madly in love with or let her heart break .... find this and more in the next book of the bound book 2

Sarah gets to know Cain's pack and gets to find out about Cain's son as well as whom Snow is and who her father is .. as well as gets a shock as well at the end of this book to find this out and more well buy , read and review must say love reading love werewolves and mating and packs and love this book and others by Viola Rivard ... there is much to be said plus Sarah wants to stay but she feels she must go since Cain is to take her back but deep inside these two they desire and long for each other will they both stay within the pack or will Cain let Sarah go if so will Sarah survive the loss of the one man she desires most in this world and how will Meadow deal with the fact her brother wants Sarah and don't want her to leave so question is will Sarah stay or will she leave and since these two have mated or coupled will Sarah be pregnant or will she not have to worry on that .. find this and more out by reading this and read the third part to see what the final conclusion is ..

Cain and Sarah are back in this Cain has to go get asthma meds for Snow his niece but who is the father Hale as everyone thinks or Alder .. and how will Cain deal with it if it is not Hale as he was once told .. and what will he do when he gets back and deals with humans in his territory who wants to kill shifters but of which type werebears , werecats or werewolves ... and what is Sarah having a boy or a girl and how is Caim dealing with Sarah now being his Fathers mate and in a way more of a mother than his own mother ever was .. and Snow will she ever talk and be able to be more a part of her pack or will she stay mute silenced and feel more alienated by her pack or will Sarah help her to open up .. to find this and more out buy , read and review this book and if you have not read all of Viola's books i suggest you do ..

Cain/Sarah
This is the beginning of Sarah and Cain. I really enjoyed this short set. Cains son Caim is still a young pup but thinks he can handle whatever. I really liked Sarah in the beginning how Cain and Sarah met and the events that come along in the story had me wanting more from them. Adler and Hale which are Cains younger brothers will make an interesting story. There was a situation in the book that wasn't resolved and that was with Alder and Cain with the child Snow. The author didn't let on whether or not if he forgave Alder for what he did. There's some action and a few steamy scenes in this set. I was happy to read Cain and Sarah but when it ended it was right after their first child being born and this is all happening like around 1995-1996 so right now I'm trying to figure out where the last almost 20 years went after Caim gets his own pack and sharing a mate with his friend Ashe. Left with more questions than answers in some aspects of this I guess lol

These stories have captured the depth of personal emotion while having Action, Erotic moments, and solid world building. I can get lost in them easily. Here's to more of the Alpha stories. I was quickly engulfed in the storyline and read the entire bundle in just one night...I just wish the bundle was longer, it felt like the story had the potential to be much longer, or maybe it was just that I did not want it to end. :-) I will be looking forward to more from the author!

So I have to say this but I liked this book a lot. I started with the first part separately and I have to say I was a little disappointed for it to end and I had to buy more when it was so short but I'm glad I bought the bundle and finished the story because I really totally loved it. It is very good and I enjoyed it very much. I can't wait to read more from the author and more Claimed Universe stories. They just rocked my world.

I loved this bundle. Great story line and wonderful characters you can't help but love. This was my first shifter book where the shifters lived more like their animal instead of pretending to be human. I loved this view of the shifters lives. Very creative. Can't wait to read more from Viola Rivard.

Really enjoyed this series. Loved the interaction between our alpha male Cain and the heroine Sarah. Their relationship is both cute and sexy. Great read, especially to the wolf shifter fan. Can't wait for more.

Hmmm, I liked parts of this story but then it jut ended rather abruptly without giving me all the closure I desired. I suppose that's Bc there will be spin offs from this.

Really liked this story. Although I'm amazed Sarah went so long without glasses! The only thing that could have made it better was for more story while Caim was growing up.

Sweet read
Here we go with the 20 word minimum post. :-/ I took my time reading this book, trying to hold out for another authors book to be released, and I really enjoyed it. It has a HEA and those always leave you with a good feeling. Off to read another one of this authors books.
