Annie Addison, Jersey girl and beauty shop owner, is brushing up on her sleuthing skills again. When a nearby house burns to the ground and all fingers point to arson, Annie can’t help but comb through the evidence.
When a second, and then third house burns down, the entire community is on edge. Now, Annie must stick a pedicured toe in and find out who the culprit might be. Can she solve the mystery? Or is this new criminal a cut above the rest? (Clean read, no blood, no foul language)
I loved this book! Annie Addison, Jersey girl and beauty shop owner, is brushing up on her sleuthing skills again. When a nearby house burns to the ground and all fingers point to arson, Annie can’t help but comb through the evidence.

I love cozy mysteries and although this was book two in the series I thought I'd give out a try. It was free when I picked it up which was good. Not to say it was a bad book but more of an okay story. It's so hard to get attached to the characters when the book is so short. I believe it was something like 45 pages. Yet I have read shorter stories with story lines much more well developed.
I would only recommend it if it is free and you are not looking for a well developed story. Just a short cozy for some mild entertainment.
I liked this book although it was more of a short story. I was most of the way through this book and realized I did not feel like anything had gelled and made sense to me. It concluded with out really letting the reader know how you got there. I like the Annie Addison stories and plan to read more.
