Working Hard....And Working Late....Has Never Been So Sexy
( This is an alternate edition of OUTSIDE THE LINES, told in third person narration (he/she/they). If you would like the original first-person edition (I/me/we), visit my author page and you'll find it there.)
WORKING HARD... Juliette Jauntie knows how to keep things under crushing deadlines, insane workload, a secret reckless side. Nothing gets her riled up anymore. Nothing but her biggest competition, the high-powered, predatory and oh-so-handsome Johnny Danger.
WORKING LATE... Former Ranger, Johnny is ruthlessly devoted to Danger Enterprises, the company he built from the ground up. So when Juliette blows into his world, with her amped-up energy and furrowed brow and her red-painted toenails, asking questions that piss off a lot of wealthy people, Johnny knows he needs to stay focused.
Pin her down, get some answers, and walk away. Ignore how his body hums every time she's near.
...HAS NEVER BEEN SO SEXY When Juliette's small time report causes big time problems for one of Johnny's clients, he hunts her down at a remote ski resort to demand answers. But Juliette has no intention of being intimidated, nor of backing down. And she has absolutely no intention of falling victim to Johnny’s seductive charms.
Two out of three’s not bad.
Their sexy showdown blows the lid off a scorching passing and uncovers a shocking crime hidden in plain sight. The stakes mount and trouble skyrockets, and Johnny knows he's in real trouble now. Because with Juliette in the mix, he's got more than his business at stake. He might just lose his heart.
**** OUTSIDE THE LINES is sharply sexy, racy romantic mystery with humor—definitely not safe for work—about two hard-boiled adversaries discovering a scorching passion and unexpected connection in the arms of the person who pushes all their buttons.
Told in first person point-of-view (I/me/we) it alternates between the hero and heroine's point of view and has some boundary-pushing sexytimes.
Received copy for review courtesy of Netgalley 3.5 stars This was a quick easy read. Johnny and Juliette both were good characters. The book was fun and sexy. There was a bit of a mystery. Interesting concept. Hard to believe what people will do for money. The romance was no nonsense. There really was no back and forth or denial of attraction. The writing was good and the story flowed well.
I've read the 1st person POV version of this and I have to say they are both great. So whatever your taste in POV, this is a must read for sure! Here's the review I left for the other version. It hasn't varied. GREAT read!
Johnny Danger had pulled 14 tours down range in Afghanistan and he felt he didn't have a heart left. He only held respect for his Ranger buddies....until she came along. She was pushing down his walls.
Juliette Jauntie was somewhat uptight, straight forward, and had no life outside of her work. Danger is getting ready to take her to a whole new level. He's going to turn her world completely up...side...down!
Both are accountants working on a divorce case and the numbers just aren't adding up. Johnny has followed her to the mountains, where she's gone for a mini vacation, so they can work out all the kinks in the paperwork. They only have a matter of days to complete this. The clients want the divorce completed by the new year but something just isn't right with the case and it leads to some pretty damaging things that directly affect Johnny.
Sharks, looming behaviors, perfect teeth, and head banging sex...all on a bunny slope. TOO funny! (You're just going to have to read the story to understand. Grinning wickedly here.)
Danger and Jauntie have been betrayed in life. They find they both fight the same demons even though the circumstances differ. Can Juliette color outside the lines with her heart intact and can Johnny learn to let his heart feel?
This was an intense read, for me. Along the way I laughed, and felt my heart tug hard both in happiness and sadness. This is a stand alone book but I have to tell you I am really looking forward to following these two in the next book. Yes, people! It doesn't end here! YAY!!! I started this book about midday and could not put it down. At 5am I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer and it about killed me to turn off the Kindle. This is one story you don't want to miss, so grab a copy and settle in for a great read.

While this book was good, it was a bit confusing, and seemed a wee bit boring after a while. I felt as though I was thrown in to the story, and hit the ground running. Juliette Jauntie is a hard-working coffee addict. She seems to never sleep, has no personal life, but is seriously hot for Johnny Danger, her competition. Johnny is an all around sexy guy.
Juliette was kinda funny, I loved the scenes where she tried to go skiing, trying to be brave and adventurous. She was a pretty great character. I liked that she was portrayed as a strong woman, I don't think we see that enough anymore.
Johnny was just too much of a cliche for me. He was all angst and broody and macho "I am man, you are woman, we will have sexytime" and it was too much for me.For having the last name Danger, I think the most dangerous thing about him was the fact that he could cause spontaneous combustion while being in bed with him (but, wait....when has that ever been a bad thing?).
Overall, the book was decent, I liked the originality of the plotline, can't say I'd ever encountered it before. I also liked Juliette as a character, I recommend this one for those of you who have time so sit down and read an actual intelligent romance book.

"Outside the Lines" is the first book in the series that features Juliette Jauntie and Johnny Danger. It is written by Bella Love.
I really enjoyed this story! Juliette and Johnny both work in the same building -- just on different floors with different accounting firms. When Juliette questions the valuations of one of the divorce cases Johnny is handling, Johnny needs to find Juliette. They need to work together to figure out why the numbers aren't adding up.
The fun really begins when Johnny finds Juliette at a ski resort. They both have the hots for one another, and their chemistry becomes more apparent the more time they spend together. While they figure out where the money on properties was allocated for a client's case, Johnny teaches Juliette how to ski, and he shows her how to have "headbanging" sex.
I've read a lot of romance stories, and "Outside the Lines" was definitely different from the typical romance novels that I've read. The dialogue was smart and sexy. The main characters stood their ground. And the storyline itself had mystery, suspense, and was scorching hot. Absolutely can't wait to see Johnny and Juliette's latest adventures in Bella Love's upcoming book "Out of His System"!
I loved this book, This for me was a fast read and i wasn't able to put it down. There was sex, love and romance and this isn't the end for these characters. The author does a fantastic job with the story line and the characters are written that well you feel like that are real people.
