I have really enjoyed reading Making Things Right. Author P L Jenkins has created this sweet, romantic story that will embrace your heart from the very beginning. You will enjoy following Payton and her son Braxton through the good times and soft, tender moments of sadness as they return to Texas to have a fresh start. I love the way Alex, former best friend of Payton, is brought back into the story and you will immediately love this guy. I can't wait to read more of this story to find out if Payton and Alex are able to come together again.

First I want to say that I really, really enjoyed this love story. It was a bit sad, emotional and very romantic.

Payton and Alex have been best friends forever. But when Alex realized he started developing feelings for Payton he started dating other girls. It was his way of saying Payton was off limits. He never knew that Payton was in love with him as well. (Stories like this always break my heart).

When Payton moves to Seattle with her mom, after her dad died in a car accident she leaves upset with Alex and doesn't even tell him when she's leaving. Now it has been 13 years since they last saw each other and she's on her way back to Texas after a tragedy in her life.

It's just her and her son now and she wants to move away and back to Texas where her mother has been living once again.

When Payton and Alex reunite the sparks fly between them. They both realize that they were meant to be together and they need to work things out and try and be together.

Well when Payton returns to Seattle to make amends with her past, someone appears as she's about to board the plane to head back home to Texas, and now this is the part where I want to scream because I have no idea what in the world just happened! I have to jump on the 2nd book now and find out what the heck is going on!!

I hope Alex and Payton will get their HEA especially with the fact that they have been in love with each other since they were kids.

4.5 stars for me with this book. I was hooked immediately with this story and I love Payton and Alex. They make the perfect couple -- they were made for each other.

Ms. Jenkins did a great job with this book, it will hook you instantly like it did me :)

I really enjoyed reading this story. Payton and Alex.. Wow..

Payton left Texas and moved to Seattle with her mom after her dad died leaving Alex behind. Now 13 years later shes coming back to Texas as another tragedy has struck in her life. Payton and her son move back to Texas because her mother was there.

When Alex and Payton reunite the sparks are off the wall. But is 13 years too long to rekindle what they had?

When Payton tries to deal with her past can she come back to Texas once again and be with Alex or is the past going to keep them apart? So ready for the next book!!!
