I decided to put this one on hold. It's not for me. It's hardly believeable and I can't connect with the characters. The whole thing seemes to be too forced for me.

Adam is a famous Hollywood actor with all eyes on him. Des works as a cleaning girl in a hotel for make a living and attend college. They meet and immediately something starts to grow between them. But as much as Adam wants her, she is haunted and doesn’t trust easily. Not to mention he was the world watching all his moves, putting a strain on their relationship. He’s decided he wants to have her, and he knows that she’s broken and he has to be patient… but when everyone is watching them and her ghosts threaten not to leaver, waiting for her patiently may not be the smartest choice. The problem is that probably isn’t another one.

This book was one of those cases where the “insta-love” didn’t work out. The plot for this book was great, but it was too sweet, too soon. For the most of it this book looked like an Ed Sheeran’s song. I would have liked for it to have more drama, more chasing and it had insisted more on his social life, because for such a famous guy that point was taken pretty lightly. Some filming, some press, but that was about it. Nonetheless, the writing was superb, the story sweet and entertaining with some seriously steamy moments, and if you’re looking for a light romance story, this is a good choice.

Characters Development: Des was insecure, but considering her past it was comprehensible. She wasn’t bad, but she wasn’t an unforgettable heroine either. She was just… meh. Adam was also great and sweet, but he seemed almost too good to be true. They were sweet together, but there was some spark lacking between them.

An orphan. A college student. A virgin. And a trash collector. And those four simple facts barely begins to scratch the surface of what defines Des Ross. But those four facts are things she accepts and acknowledges of who she is. So how does a 22 year old ordinary college student attracts one of the hottest celebs in Hollywood? Its simple. She does it with her grace, beauty, honesty, and personality. In this modern fairytale romance, Jasinda Wilders delivers a story that makes you believe in the happily ever after. For 22 years, Des Ross was searching for a home to belong to. What will be the storybook ending for Des?

#jasinda

Des Ross is such a gem of a character. She is resilient, strong, beautiful, smart and sassy. Right off the bat I loved her character, she had a personality that you couldn't help fall in love with. Des is not only a virgin and trash collector but she had a painful past that continues to haunt her. But her traumatic past is what made her a beautiful and strong person that she is today. So when she meets Hollywood hunk, Adam Trenton, sparks fly. 48 hours is what it took for Des’s life to change, because within the two days, Adam will hold a special place in her heart. So will Des finally get her chance at a HEA? Or will she be afraid to take a chance on a man who makes her feel?

#Jasinda1

Adam Trenton is Hollywood’s “IT” actor. He has women around the world fawning over him. So when Adam and his movie team were on location for a charity function, he couldn’t believe his luck when he spots this raven haired beauty that he was instantly attracted to. Call it fate or what not, Adam knew at that moment he had to know who she is. He didn’t care what she was wearing because all he noticed was her beauty. Personally, Adam was swoon worthy. He was indeed the hero and prince charming all wrapped up in one. He didn’t care that she was a trash collector. He didn’t judge at all whether she had money or not. All Adam saw, was the girl who knocked him off his feet. He saw the girl whom he wanted to get to know. He saw a woman whom he connected with physically and emotionally. Sparks and connections were buzzing from a single kiss and that it was all it took for Adam to be consumed with Des Ross. Adam knew that Des had secrets but he didn’t pushed because he wanted Des to tell him on her own. The connection between them was indeed electrifying. Des and Adam for sure didn’t need any help in the sexy department because these two in the bedroom had a way to heat up your kindle with all those steamy moments. So when Adam has to go back to Hollywood and Des has to go back to Detroit, how will their story book romance ends when Des leaves Adam? Will Adam make Des to take a chance on love? For a girl who never knew what love was, can Adam show her what it means to love? For the girl who never knew what it means to have a home, will she find her home in Adam?

Trashed was light, beautiful, sexy and romantic. In this modern day fairy-tale romance, Ms. Wilders whips up a fun fresh new take of a prince finding her princess. Who says the happily ever after doesn’t exist? Because in Trashed, this book delivered that and much more. Ms. Wilder will leave her readers with a big fat smile on their faces. The romance and connection between her hero and heroine were palpable and believable. The instant connection between Adam and Des made my heart go pitter-patter since I was so ooohing and ahhhing in how sweet, romantic and steamy this book was. Trashed reminds us all that you do not have to conform to society’s standards of beauty. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder and regardless whether you are a size 0, 2, 4 or whatever size, everyone is beautiful. And most importantly, this book reminds us all love heals. The power of love is that it can slowly heal all our broken past and with love you can find your home. Home can be starting anew or finding that special person who makes you feel whole. So if u are you looking for a book, that is sweet, romantic, sexy, and touching then I highly suggest you to go read Trashed.

Jasinda Wilder's books tend to be either a hit or miss.
Unfortunately...(yes that's right-- this one was a miss.)
I don't really understand Adam's instant fascination with Des. ( I think this is what threw me off the most-- the insta-lust/chasing). He's suppose to be this irresistible, man-candy actor so I'm going to assume he's had his fair number of bed partners/ love interests. So what makes Des so special? (Btw, not even he knows.)

This is how they meet: Adam sees her from across his carriage and he's absolutely mesmerized. He then jumps off his vehicle and invites her to dinner.
When Adam asks her out, Des automatically says 'no' (That's fine with me--playing hard to get never hurts.) After a lot of begging and insisting she finally gives in.
After that, they only separate once. But I thought Des was broken? (At least, the author was hinting at that.)

To be honest, I think the reason why I didn't love this was probably the insta-lust. I think if you can get past that, you might enjoy it. I'm usually on the other side where I like my romance slow and sweet (and a whole lot of kink if possible) and this one just didn't work out for me.

**Full Review—Trashed by Jasinda Wilder**

“Not sure what you’re after, Adam, but I’m probably not the kind of girl you think I am.” With that parting shot, she pushes through a set of double doors, shoving her trashcan ahead of her. Shot down. Jesus. That hasn’t happened in a while. I grin. I’ve always enjoyed a challenge.”

Des Ross never in a million years felt she stood out in a crowd. She’s nobody, a trash collector. She works summers in tourist town, while attending classes back in Detroit to earn her Master’s Degree. With only her best friend, Ruth, Des’ life is simple. She doesn’t rely on anyone, trust anyone, and by being closed off, she doesn’t get hurt. It doesn’t help her loneliness though…

Adam Trenton is the next big thing. Hot movie star status, built like a linebacker, and gorgeous to boot. Touring the city during a brief stay in a little tourist town in the back of a horse-drawn carriage with his co-stars, a cascade of long raven hair catches his eyes…and he HAS to investigate further. I mean, it’s not every day you see a hot chick in a jumpsuit walking down the side of the road. Much less a woman who can look him (and his six foot-four inch frame) in the eye. What he didn’t anticipate was being shot down before he even had the opportunity to make his move…

“I’m intrigued by you. I don’t know what this is any more than you do, Des. The last thing I have time for right now is to get involved in anything, but I can’t seem to stop myself.”

Time.

That’s what they need. And of course, Adam is only in town for the weekend…yet, they are drawn to each other as if they have all the time in the world. It’s not until the weekend ends that Des sees everything for what it was, and wasn’t. Despite having secrets, she gave him a gift that she never thought she’d be able to give. And he found a way to get under her skin…even if she has to let him go. Their worlds just don’t mix, no matter the connection and Des just can’t let herself get attached knowing it will lead to nothing but hurt and heartache.

“I want him. I want him. But I’m scared of letting myself go there. I’m scared of what will happen. Not to my body, but my heart. And I’m scared I’ll freak out at the last second, and mess everything up.”

****

“There’s something here, Des. Between us. There is, and I know you know there is. You’re just scared. Of what, I’m not sure.” “Of what? Of everything.” “Why?” I let out a breath. “Because that’s what life has taught me.”

So, now they are at a crossroad. Will she let him in, learn to let go just enough? Or will her secrets of a former life overshadow her shot at happiness with a man who can give her everything she’s ever dreamed of? A place to belong, a love that doesn’t leave, a trusting relationship…a home.

Jasinda never fails to surprise me with her words. I am always put on a rollercoaster of emotions when reading her stories, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I fall in love with her characters, the settings, and the connections. She is truly a master at her craft and this book is no exception. Des and Adam are the perfect contrast, yet they fit together perfectly. I love how their worlds collide, and how despite her upbringing she is real. There is no trying to be something she’s not, and he loves her for it…I love that her beauty is not measured by her waist size but how she carries herself. I love that he’s bi-racial and the boundaries of relationships is not measured in color. I love the two sides of the train track story, and how life throws curve balls but the inner strength of each character shines and they just roll with it. This is a fantastic story of overcoming all stereotypes and being truly happy in your skin. I loved every word.

Trashed Jasinda Wilder

Trashed by Jasinda Wilder
Set in the world of Stripped, but it's a complete standalone. Contemporary Romance.
Jasinda Wilder. Wow. That woman can write so many different types of books. From rip-your-heart-out emotional, to hot-as-fuck exciting, to light and sexy fun. Trashed was the latter. It was a perfect easy-reading break for me, and despite it being 450 pages, it was a quick, very hot, romantic read. Trashed kind of reminded me of a chocolate ice cream cone...sweet, decadent, dirty, and it made me smile the whole time.

Jasinda kind of got back to basics in Trashed. She wrote the perfect sweet, easy reading, erotic novel. Adam is a hot hollywood actor in Mackinac Island, Michigan for a fancy dinner. On a carriage tour of the island, he sees a beautiful black haired woman picking up trash, and he  jumped out of the carriage to pursue her.
"You're a famous Hollywood movie star. You got mobbed in the hotel lobby. I'm no one. I'm a trash collector."

There was nothing surprising in this novel. Hot movie star meets virgin, 22 year old garbage collector. It's every woman's Cinderella/Pretty Woman fantasy. But in Jasinda's talented hands, even a common story line takes on more dimension.

Des is gorgeous, but doesn't know it. At almost 6 feet tall, with curves and a little meat on her bones (I'm picturing a size 10-12), she doesn't understand what a hot movie star sees in her when he could literally get any girl he wants.
"I'm intrigued by you. You're fascinating. I can't figure you out, and I like that, You're not impressed by who I am, and I like that even more. You're so drop-dead fucking gorgeous that I can't stand it. You're so sexy it's not even right."

Des has had a rough childhood in the system in Detroit. She has learned through years of bad situations, never to trust anyone. She is clearly closed off to Adam, and he wants so much to learn more, but he refuses to push too hard, in the fear that he may push her away.
"Don't trust him, part of me screams. You can't. He'll hurt you. He'll betray you. Everyone else has and everyone else will and you know it."

Besides, he is only there for the weekend, so despite the connection they both feel, he is leaving to go back to Hollywood. But that doesn't stop him from wanting Des like he has never craved anyone.

Trashed quote

The sex scenes in Trashed may perhaps be the longest Jasinda has written, if that's possible. Seriously, my vagina hurt just from reading it! But also in the sex, was the incredible connection the couple felt, and while at times it felt like it went on forever, it still furthered the story.

Likes:

•Sweet, sexy, fun easy read.
•Who doesn't love a Cinderella story?
•Low angst.
•Checking in with the couple from Stripped (which I didn't even realize until after I finished.)
•Made me happy the whole time.
•That Des is a more average sized woman, and I loved how she stopped feeling bad about herself and gained confidence.

"I won't change who I am. I will not be made to feel any less valuable or attractive than anyone else just because I', taller or weigh more, or because I'm shaped a certain way. I can't look any other way than I do...and honestly, I don't want to look any other way. I like how I look. I'm learning to be comfortable in my own skin."

Dislikes:

•As with a lot of Jasinda's books...the sex scenes (as much as I LOVE sex scenes) went on a bit too long.
•It was not very original a concept.
•Without spoiling, there was one small part that felt too unexplained--I would have liked to know exactly what happened, because Des is still a virgin.

Rating: 4.5 stars, 5 heat

The Down & Dirty:

Trashed was an easy, quick, super sexy & fun read. I grinned the entire time, and despite the fact that it's a common theme: virgin poor girl meets millionaire movie star, Jasinda added her magic and delivered it in a way that is a step above books that have similar themes.

4 AN-ACHE-FOR-HOME STARS!

description

This was a very sexy and light read I really enjoyed. It was a Jasinda-hot kind of book where you know you'll be fanning yourself constantly because of those sizzling scenes you can't get enough of and also a book that gives you a break from emotional turmoils by just delivering a neat and sweet story about a tough girl falling for her unbelievable prince charming.

This is the story of Des Ross, a college student with a rough upbringing who has learned to be tough in order to make it in life. Meaning not getting attached to anything or anybody because nothing is permanent and nobody is worth trusting. That was Des' motto and it served her well in protecting her heart until a one chance meeting made her doubt everything.

“I’m not that girl; I’m always totally unaffected by guys. But Adam? He’s all man, all masculinity and raw sexuality and aggressive beauty. And I just don’t know what do.”

Meeting an attractive man is one thing but meeting a hunk of a man who happens to be one of the most desired man in Hollywood? That would totally throw a girl off and that's exactly what happened to Des. Her head keeps telling her to stay away from this gorgeous man but her heart tells her to forget everything and just get over her fears this one time.

Adam Trenton is incredibly hot, intense, irresistible, and relentless in getting Des. The moment he sees her there is no way he can not go after her. She's just too beautiful in her own way and there's this strong pull between them that he can't resist either. The problem is that Des is no ordinary girl; she's tough, stubborn, and very guarded so this time Adam has his work cut out for him but he's more than ready to get want he wants.

“When I see something I want, I make it mine.”
“And you want me?”
“Hell yeah I do.”

The story then goes about Des doubting Adam's true intentions and him trying to prove to her that she can actually trust him. So there is this constant push and pursuit between them all tangled up with overcoming insecurities, self-doubts, and hurts from the past. Something I really liked about the characters that they later come to realize is that they both share an ache for real love in the story. An actual ache for a home they can only alleviate when they are together.

“Being with you is so…intense…so much…that it’s hard to breathe with wanting it to never end.”

I enjoyed this book, it was a different kind of "cinderella" story. The heroine is not your typical sweet girl, she's tough and not afraid to show it. The hero is more than hot, he's a hunk and a persistent one which I really liked. And their story is infused with passion and light drama that made the story fun and entertaining. So if these are characteristics you look for in your reads then Trashed is totally for you too. ;)

Four Stars For Des And Adam

This was my third book by Jasinda Wilder and I liked it just as much as the prior two. I know a lot of my GR friends have said that they have a hard time getting into this author but not me. I really enjoy her style and her story lines. I did enjoyed the first of this series a bit more but then again this one had a lot more sex so I guess I'm not complaining!
Des is your everyday girl who's had a very hard life while Adam is your not so everyday movie star. For a reason as light as love at first sight they click. Des is reserved and doesn't want to rush into anything with anyone, let alone Adam. Her past has caused her to not trust anyone while Adam will not stop pursuing her and wants to explore the unknown.
What I enjoyed most about this book was how different the character's are. From looks to personality it was refreshing.

From the very start you’re drawn into this modern day fairytale. Des Ross is a girl that has been given a tough start in life that has made her tough, full of sass and sure of whom she is. It’s also caused her to not trust easily.

Cue the entrance of our prince charming, the handsome and famous actor Adam Trenton. On Mackinac Island for a gala, he spots Des while on a carriage tour and is instantly intrigued and has to follow his need to know her.

Their chemistry was off the chart from the start. No doubt that Jasinda writes some of the hottest and intense sex scenes. But what I liked more was the banter between Des and Adam. She certainly gave him a run for his money and kept him on his toes with her teasing and witty comebacks.

While Adam was incredibly sweet he did push her boundaries just enough to get Des to open up to him, which I felt was certainly what she needed. I loved that she started taking chances instead of locking herself up again.

Fans of Stripped and BGDI series will enjoy this light hearted read. I give it 4.5 stars.

It’s sweet, sassy and steamy and made me remember why I fell in love with reading romance novels.

This one is 3 stars from me but I don't want to give it an official GR rating because the book didn't really appeal to me to begin with. I read this to fulfill a requirement for a reading challenge I am participating in and aside from that, I never would have picked this up. I don't think I should officially rate something I never really wanted to read in the first place.

That being said, the blurb for this one is pretty self explanatory. Nothing out of the ordinary happened in this story. Adam and Des were kind of insta-love, I didn't really feel like they had a deep connection. The sex scenes were well done, but after the first one I skimmed through the rest in an attempt to reach the end of the book quicker.

There wasn't anything glaringly wrong with the story, it just didn't appeal to me. Don't let my opinion deter you if it sounds like something you'd enjoy.

Come check out the reviews on my blog Under The Cover

Oh how I loved this book! And this epilogue! Loved it loved it loved it! It's what earned this book its fifth star.

Books about celebrities such as Love Unscripted, Love Unrehearsed and Stripped aren't usually my favorites. I enjoy them and have a really good time reading them, but when I look back on them after a while, I can honestly say that they aren't the stories I keep closest to my heart. But in the case of Trashed well, my feelings are a little different.

“I’m not a movie star. I’m just Adam.”

I think the fact that the book isn't too focused on Adam's celebrity and his fame made it better for me. He wasn't Adam the movie star, but simply Adam. He felt really down to earth to me and I loved that. I loved how real he felt to me. I'm not saying that Dawson in Stripped didn't feel real either, but I think I didn't read this book in the right conditions at the time to really appreciate it (my advice to you: don't start a book when you're tired and right before moving countries). Anyway, what I'm saying here is that Des and Adam felt very real and ...accessible? I'm not sure this word means anything here but what I'm trying to say is that I felt like I could have know those characters in real life. They felt true and real to me. And I loved it. And I thought Adam was so cute when he first met Des. It was so sweet how awkward he got. I'll say it again, I loved it!

“There’s something here, Des. Between us. There is, and I know you know there is. You’re just scared. Of what, I’m not sure.”
“Of what? Of everything.”
“Why?” I let out a breath.
“Because that’s what life has taught me.”

And I really loved Des. Her character kept surprising me and the more I got to know her, the more I liked her. At some point, the choice she made seemed really odd and not like her to me, but it turned out, it was a choice she had to make. I heard somewhere that the mistakes we make and the hard times in our lives are what make us who we are. And in the case of Des, I think it's very true. Des really moved me and I loved seeing her evolve and grow into herself as I read.

"The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned." --Maya Angelou

I loved the connection between Des and Adam. I wish one day I can feel so close and free to be myself with someone as Des did with Adam. Their relationship (especially toward the end of the book) had my heart go all warm and soft and kept a smile on my face until I turned the last page of the book. It was so moving to see Des let herself be loved and attached to Adam, and how Adam understood what a gift it was that she picked him for it.

“I don’t want to let my past dictate my present or future anymore.”

And boy, were they hot together! I mean seriously! Every time they went at it I was squirming like crazy. I got some seriously weird looks in the train. I'm usually glad I have a Kindle because people can't know what I'm reading when I'm in public but I think even with my Kindle in hand I was seriously busted on this one. Anyway, word of advice, read this at home with either a cold shower or a willing man nearby.

One thing I really enjoyed was the absence of (useless) drama in this book. I'm always a little ....wary let's say when I get to the 65/70% mark in books because that's usually when something goes wrong between the characters. I know in some books, sometimes it's useful and helps the story, even makes it better sometimes, but it's truly THE part in a book I dread. I hate this part even more when the issue is because of miscommunication or a character jumping to conclusions. I'll admit, I got a little worried toward chapter 17 for reasons I won't share in order to not spoil the suspense for anyone, but there was no need for that.
So yeah, I was really relieved and very happy to see that this story, is for the most part, drama free. I enjoyed this book even more because of it.

I think the cherry on top was the sneak peek at Falling Away (I am so grateful for that book!) at the end of Trashed. I can't wait for January to be here so I can get my hands on it!

5 *****

Fun, sexy, blazing hot sex scenes that puts a flush of color to your cheeks and a shimmy in your step! This book draws you in from the start. I didn’t know if the next page would have me giggling right out loud or fanning myself from the hot scenes. I love when I can totally get lost in a book like this and just enjoy the bliss like a great massage by a hot Masseur.

Trashed can certainly be read alone or after Stripped. It was perfect cure for the reading hangover that Beta left behind and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I read the first book in this series when it came out. I don't remember much about it, other than it was entertaining enough that I wanted to give this one a shot since it was only $0.99. This book, however, was just laughable. I'm all for the occasional mindless entertainment that this genre can give you, but this was a little too mindless for me. I think maybe if the author would have done anything with the little tidbits of potential drama that was hinted at but immediately dropped this would have been a much better book, but as is.... =\

Jasinda Wilder is the writer for the type of reader that I am. She always has something to match my mood. Whereas with other writers, I’ll gravitate toward a name based on my mood, with her I don’t need to look elsewhere, I can just scan her catalog and know there’s something there for me.

Trashed is further proof that she has a multitude of sides and styles, and each one is engaging, entertaining, and exceptional. This book is a modern day fairy tale that the hopeless romantic in me needed.

This girl , in old ripped jeans, inked-up Chucks, and a cheap black V-neck…she’s drop-dead gorgeous. I don’t think she knows it, either. She can’t have any clue how intensely, heart-stoppingly beautiful she is.

Like all of Jasinda Wilder’s heroines, Des Ross is far from typical. Or maybe I should say she’s far from typical in romance books. Des is very much the typical girl you’d find walking down the street, or looking back at you in the mirror. She was easy for me to identify with and to love because we had so much in common. She’s a girl with a job that pays the bills, she goes to school to built a better future, and she generally lives her life expecting nothing extraordinary to happen. Then one day, a gorgeous stranger takes her by surprise and throws her whole world out of balance.

Adam Trenton is the hottest action hero in the country, and after spotting Des from a far, he’s inexplicably drawn to her, and he’s determined to break through her walls. I really loved Adam. He was just so sweet, and supportive, while still being hotly male. Des has a lot of qualms about being with a movie star, and it’s not easy for her to trust, but he’s willing to put himself out there so she can see what’s real.

“So you’re going to tell me you didn’t feel…I’m not sure how to put it…a-a connection? Last night, you didn’t feel that?”

His eyes bore into mine, and I’m trying desperately to deny what I see there.

Despite the fact that their relationship begins with insta-sex, this isn’t an insta-love situation. It takes time for these two to realize their feelings for each other, and during that time, they grow and develop, learning about this person they can’t seem to forget, and falling deeply and steadily. Even during the raunchiest, must X-rated scenes, the emotions these two experience are evident. They become a part of each other, and it’s heart-warming to experience. That being said, there is a lot of sexiness in this book, and sometimes I would’ve rather just read about them hanging out and doing things together as a couple, and interacting more outside of the bedroom. Also, I appreciate that this book isn’t bogged down by angst, but there are some things about Des’ past that could’ve been developed further.

“The fact that you can be such a beautiful person despite all that you’ve been through, that’s poetry too, Des.”

Trashed is the effervescent, hopeful, romantic side of Jasinda Wilder – a woman who sometimes likes to rip your heart to shreds. Read it and you’ll be swept off your feet.

Another one of those books that will pull you in and will have you thinking about it when you are done reading. When I first saw the title of this book, I knew that I had to read it and get my hands on it. As soon as I started reading, I was in my happy book bubble. Each page was a page turner that made me fell in love with the characters.

Adam used to be a pro football player and movie star. At one point, he had to chose which path he wanted to take. So, he chose to be a movie star. He is not your normal Hollywood actor. He hates dressing up, plastering fake smiles and mingling with people in celebrities benefits. That's not just who he is. He's just your typical, normal guy that happens to be a Hollywood star. A normal guy who was instantly attracted to a normal girl. Des Ross was the girl, who literally turned Adam's world upside down. She brought back fire, desire, longing, and lust back into his life. Adam will stop at nothing to get Des's attention. As it so happens, he was able to make Des see that behind the Hollywood glitz and glamour, Adam is just an ordinary guy with a big heart. And so Adam begins his quest to make Des see that she is indeed worth the fight.

Destiny Ross grew up in Detroit. Graduated college with her bachelors in social work and just on her way to her masters. And she's a janitor. She has this wall she put up and will not let anyone in. Des had a mother, who was a crack addict. OD'd when she was three years old and so she ended up in the foster home system. She moved from foster home after foster home growing up. One of the homes, the father molested her. It's the reason why she put up these walls and does not trust anyone easily. She tried pushing Adam away, but he wasn't having it. He knows what he wants and that's Des. And so begins his mission to show Des how important and special she is in his life.

Adam and Destiny's story was an emotional and a HOT DAMN STEAMY read. It had me fanning myself the entire time I was reading. Des struggled with letting people get close after what happened to her in one of her foster homes. She became closed off and only had one best friend. The story is about moving on, being independent, loyalty and understanding the true meaning of LOVE. Taking a risk and not being afraid to be make yourself happy. I loved it and I can't wait to read more of your writing Jasinda.

I have this crazy mad obsession with Jasinda Wilder. She’s one of my go-to authors. If I want a fail-safe read that I know I’m going to fall in love with; this is to whom I go! This woman is a writing machine! She produces books faster than you can say, “Holy Sensation Overload, Batman.”

Jasinda Wilder, you never cease to amaze me. Just when I think it can't get any better you drop this renegade roughneck superhero into my lap. Picture Wolverine meets Batman. Yes! IT IS THAT GOOD. Every woman in this great nation, across the world and seas, throughout the universe and beyond NEEDS their very own Adam Trenton! He is everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend. I almost wore myself out, swooning over this man. He’s perfection on freaking stick! I know. I know. I've said that before, but dammit if I don't say it again. Adam Trenton is Mr. McFreakingDreamy! Thank you, Momma Trenton, for raising this hip-loving, curve-craving man who appreciates a REAL woman and all their glory.

I often wonder how it's possible for Jasinda to create so many desirable and amazing characters. Just when you think you're in love with one she throws in another to mix things up. I feel like a big ole traitor.

Although deemed inadequate, Des Ross is not spineless. She's an amazing woman, both inside and out. Dressed with impressive curves and a genuine beauty that radiates from her pores, Des is unmistakably beautiful, both inside and out. Like many women, she is defined by her insecurities and a not-so-ideal past. She was a little bit perfect splashed with a tainted past, but she's no one’s charity case. She's fierce and admirable. I seriously loved Des’s character. I truly believe most women can relate to her in some way or another. The author definitely pegged this one. A perfect example of an every-day woman giving up on the possibility of acceptance, of love, and the happy-ever-after.

Adam and Des’ journey is incredibly moving, and the development was amazing to watch. Together the two explode with passion. An unexpected collaboration of fate. Emotions evolve quickly, yet unintentionally. Expect the unexpected with these two. Prepare to be frustrated one moment then swooning the next. Ahhhh!

Trashed is effectively and strategically written keeping the reader wanting more, and more, and more! It is crazy addictive and I absolutely loved it!

Once again, Jasinda strikes a wonderful balance of emotions, romance, and real life. Trashed was sexy, totally romantic and light. Prepare to be hooked if you love Jasinda's super sexy love stories. Trashed will rock your reading world.

Des Ross is a curvy twenty-two-year-old virgin who grew up hard and fast. She's a tough and independent not-so-perfect woman. Having endured a lot, she has built thick walls around herself and doesn't trust anyone.

"I'm nobody. Less than nobody. A garbage collector."

Adam is a sexy, hot and humble Hollywood celebrity who has fun and enjoys what he does. He is sweet, but he doesn't take no for an answer. He knows what he likes and wants and is determined to get it.

"I'm not a movie star. I'm just Adam."

Even though the chemistry and connection between them was off the chart from the start, Des and Adam couldn't be more different. She doesn't understand what a hot movie star sees in her. On top of that, she also has secrets from her past. He is intrigued and fascinated by Des ever since he spots her. But, is also afraid of pushing too hard in fear of her freaking out and running away.

"I'm intrigued by you. You're fascinating. I can't figure you out, and I like that, You're not impressed by who I am, and I like that even more. You're so drop-dead fucking gorgeous that I can't stand it. You're so sexy it's not even right."

"He wants me. I still don't entirely know why."

Trashed was a quick, very hot, romantic and easy reading novel. Another must-read book from one of my favorite authors and the story that every "big girl" fantasizes about happening in their life. For that, I thank Jasinda. She brought so much feeling you actually felt like you were a part of their world. I expected nothing less.

If you are looking for a light read with a great story line, this is your book. You will certainly not regret it!

Des Ross is just an ordinary girl working her way through college. She works sweeping up trash on Mackinac Island to save money for the upcoming semesters and hangs out with her best friend, Ruth when she can. Simple.

Until one day when action movie star, Adam Trenton jumps from a carriage and asks her out to dinner. He’s beyond gorgeous with miles of hard muscle and dreamy green eyes, but Des knows that guys like this don’t fall in love with girls like her. They walk around with size two blond bombshells on their arm – and if it’s one thing she certainly isn’t – it’s blond and a size two.

But there is just something about Adam that makes her want to believe in fairytales. He’s persistent and yet considerate, forceful and yet achingly gentle. But will Des ever be able to see herself the way that he does?

Adam Trenton knows that Hollywood is nothing if not fickle and he’s just the star of the moment. He feels something electric the instant that he lays eyes on Des with her luscious curves and he has to know everything about her. But the walls that she has surrounding her are as strong as her determination.

There’s something more between them and no matter what it takes, he’s going to get Des to admit she feels the same way he does. Can he convince her before he has to leave or will their time together only be a fleeting memory?

Trashed is the perfect modern erotic love story! Des is just so REAL – she’s no fool and I think every woman can relate to her struggle with body image. Adam is attracted to her because she’s unlike any of the other women that he encounters as an actor and he craves her pure sincerity.

Jasinda’s message is loud and clear – love yourself for who you are because real women are curvy, healthy and breathtakingly gorgeous – and that’s a fairytale that we all can believe in…

So with this book being quite honest, I wasn’t very impressed with it and I feel horrible saying that because I absolutely love Jasinda’s book Stripped. But with this one I felt the entire story was rushed and the storyline itself lacked. Yes, there were parts I really did enjoy, like how the characters met and how much Adam really cared for Des, it was incredible what lengths he went to just to find her, but when it came to the actual relationship it was overly rushed to make it something epic when if it would’ve slowed down a lot it would’ve been better.

I did make myself read the whole book because I really wanted to see what would happen and see if the story got better, not until a few parts towards the end did I feel as if it got better and then I just couldn’t finish the last few pages because I was ready to move on. 

Good book....really powerful sex scenes. I really felt their hard core deep sex connection....yummy!!! The few things I didn't like were how she went from having panic attacks when being touched one day to being a sex fiend the next night. I wish there was more of a transition for that. The other thing was Des's constant harping about how big she was...yes...I get it...your tall and have curves. As a big woman myself, I really do understand the insecurities of being with a very fit and gorgeous man. I once dated a body builder and was like..what the hell is he doing with me....BUT...I would say that in my head...not 500 times out loud like Des did in the book...ugh..just got really old.

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I couldn't stop reading until I was done with it. The plot was just so beautiful! I loved Adam and Des since the beginnig. Everything was just perfect, from the way they met each other, until the little break-ups they had, and the sweet things he would tell her. I just loved this book! And I had fun with it, too. I think that every girl would want a hero or a prince charming like Dawson or Adam. THANK YOU JASINDA! THIS BOOK WAS THE BEST!

Another great read by Jasinda. As with all of Jasinda's books this one was hard to put down. The story line was great, the focus on Des and Adam's feelings and relationship was consistent throughout, everything else provided detail and setting the scene, keeping you gripped. It was nice that the separation was not dragged out or overly played and their story together continued to be told until the end. Just a really lovely read :)
