As a textbook it was amazing. A lot of examples of mixed and complicated cases. It was not too hard to grasp the difference of the standards and their applications. The book itself proved to be useful in getting ready for the CFA exam.

I can not objectively review this book as it stands alone, with nothing to compare it to.
It is in the process of preparing CAIA L1 exam that I dedicated time going through it. It comes with plenty of detailed practical examples on the delicate ethics related situations, an analyst, broker, market maker, portfolio/investment manager, investor etc. might come across, with do's and don'ts in each case.
It took me two weeks to finish it (16 hours reading). The wording wasn't always easy. Some illustrations and explanatory notes from Investopedia helped a lot. It might be a good idea to integrate illustrations in future editions.
Overall, although a compulsory module of the curriculum for candidates of CFA and CAIA L1, this is a must read book for anyone with interest in the investments world.
