Nari and his identical twin Varli are sons of Loki. Former lieutenants for their half-sister in the underworld, when the Hells of the world fell, they were sent to earth, like all the other demons. As soon as they found each other, they got back up to their tricksy ways: helping their siblings run the Lokisgeirr crime ring in San Hades, bouncing between bedmates and generally being useless and a bit vain.
Wren is a seamstress who has always dreamed big. Leading a now-quiet life filled with blacksmithing with her mentor, hiking in the desert, and running her shop, she's happy and fulfilled. Except Wren's business loan is owned by a famous San Hades crime ring called the Emerald Moths, so she has to put up with monthly visits from their loan enforcer, who also happens to be her abusive ex boyfriend.
But when a chance encounter under the blacksmith's tent at a local Ren Faire leaves her face to face with Nari, neither can deny the instant pull they feel towards each other. And while Varli is also intrigued by the human woman, he knows his boundaries with his twin.
Will Wren be able to navigate the inherent drama of organized crime, inter-species differences, and the drama of her ex and the loan owed to Nari's rivals?
Will Nari be able to be honest with the vivacious human woman who has stolen his heart but who has no experience with demons? And more importantly, will he be able to keep his relationship with his twin brother even when he's bonding with his soul mate?
Tilly and her life partner live in the snowy north and homeschool their clutch of children. If she’s not reading, writing, mainlining iced oat milk lattes, swimming, or herding cats, she’s definitely cursing about her dead sourdough starter (again) or working on her cake decorating skills so she doesn’t embarrass herself at the kids’ bake sale.
Wren was so traumatized from her previous abusive relationship, so obvs she needed Viking demon twins to give her some much needed love. Nari was impulsive and sweet in a “I’ll kill for you” kinda way. He never avoided owning up to mistakes. Varli was all avoidant for most of the book, but when he was emotionally present he was the sweet daddy Dom that Wren needed. Their relationship was steamy and Instalove-y and sweet.
I've been so excited for the twins book and it didn't disappoint! I loved Wren as soon as I met her and knew she would be their perfect match! Even though Nari and Varli were identical I loved the differences between them. And I loved seeing the family again! I can't wait for more!
The age old question, do demon twins share everything?
This was a wonderful book, well written, Nari and Varli the viking twins. Children of Loki, they end up falling in love with the same woman. Varli being the older twin (by minutes) tries to deny his feelings so his brother can be happy without realizing, they share everything so why wouldn’t they share a fated mate too. But Varli is being extra stubborn about everything, but no worries he finally comes around, eventually.
Wren the beautiful FMC is a wonderful Tailor and Blacksmith! she also has a nasty x, and owes money to a crime boss!
Key points in no particular order: - Daddy - twin brothers - MFM - Praise k - ink - no familial sword crossing. - demon/norse gods
I’m a huge fan of the San Hades Chronicles. The series has heart and soul in addition to being super spicy. I devoured all the books in the series. Tenacious is standalone 4.2 in the series. This gave me all the feels! I am partial to a close knit family so this makes me so happy! This story centers on demon twins Nari and Varli and human Wren. It was so much fun to read the romancing, seduction and the cuteness of their relationship. They warmed my heart! I giggled and swooned! The main characters are authentic, vulnerable and imperfect. Tenacious was the perfect combination of sweetness, action and hot sizzling spice. Thank you for writing this!
I've loved the twins ever since they first showed up in the series, and I'm so glad they got their own story! They may be identical in looks, but they have their own unique traits that work really well together - double the trouble, double the fun! Wren is an incredibly lucky woman! It's a short, sweet, and spicy read that has enough action to keep you hooked and feeling like you've read a full-length story. I really enjoyed it!
This was a fast-paced, 'why choose' romance with twin demons falling for the same woman! I really enjoyed the relationship between Wren and Nari. They fall in love, but something feels off. Nari's twin Varli can't stop thinking about his brother's mate. He wants her, but he feels trapped.
Oh my goodness this was a wild ride! When nari finds his mate in wren it was fast and sweet, vee is a sulky man and it takes him a little longer to open up. DID I MENTION THEY ARE TWINS?! I had so much fun reading this one. I need to go back and re-read all of them! 5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
As a huge fan of Tilly Bramley and her writing, I had been eagerly awaiting the release of Tenacious, her new spicy novella that she co-wrote with A.J Knight that is part of her standalone paranormal romance series, the San Hades Chronicles ❤️
This is so far my favourite novella in the series - and not because there were two sexy twin demon brothers that look like Viking gods! Okay, that is one of the bigger reasons 😏
But Tilly and A.J truly impressed me in their ability to illustrate a heartwarming romance between Wren and the twins, Nari and Varli. Nari is the epitome of a golden retriever MMC, should Varli is more of a grumpy black cat. I loved seeing the significant character development (in a novella, no less!) in all the characters, but especially Varli. There is nothing like flawed and relatable characters that makes me connect with a book. This story was so sweet but also with a good amount of spice! Would definitely recommend giving it a read 🫶
Thanks so much to the authors for gifting me an ARC!
