Sierra Blacksmith is a woman of many passions and unrealized potential. Being the youngest daughter of a werewolf and a Fey is not always easy, not to mention the fact that her father is also the clan leader.
Sierra longs for a normal life. Just when she thinks things can’t get any worse, she discovers that her boyfriend is a two-timing Troll! He was a Troll, the sworn-enemy of her family, who would go to any lengths to get between her virgin thighs.
And if that wasn’t enough, Roman and Garth Doming, two hot strange men, walk into her life claiming to be her mates! They not only dominated both her thoughts and desires, but also introduce her to her third mate, a half demon and half fey.

Wanted to give this 2 1/2 stars. I really wish these sites let us do half stars.
I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review, and since I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them, I really hate to give this book as poor of a rating as I am, but... I really had some major problems with it. First and the easiest to fix would be all the editing errors, especially in the beginning. At least once the female main character's name wasn't capitalized. There were also several times that what looked like a single sentence with no internal punctuation, when read aloud by me, really should have been two complete sentences. Every time I ran into one of these editing problems it caused me to actually pause my reading for a moment to figure out what was wrong. I guess I'm a little OCD about bad grammar and misspellings. Second, the story also had a lot of time issues that I had a hard time dealing with. All through the whole story I had a hard time getting a good sense of how much or how little time had passed from one scene to the next. Lastly, was the bdsm side of the story. A small part of that issue is that she went from a 20 year old virgin that didn't even know what a ball gag was to accepting her mates' bdsm behavior without a problem. And the guys, knowing she was a virgin, didn't ease her into the sexual side of things. The biggest part of my issue with the bdsm side of the story was the guys took being protective shifter mates to such an extreme that they almost seemed like bullies at times.
You get action shifters Fay and Trolls and witches even a half Demon and half fay ... Sierra who found her boyfreind with another woman also finds out he is a troll and will not take no as she broke up with him he will do anything to get her.. Sierra has 2 mates twin brothers Garth and Roman but she is also part shifter and fay with a little something extra .. great action and sexy as all get out this was a page turner and I could not put it down .. "
I received this book through Goodreads Giveaways, in return for an honest review. So here it is:
I thought that this was a great idea for the book, and I loved the cover, but I could not enjoy the story once I started reading. I am now stuck about halfway through, the book is sitting on the shelf, and I don't have much desire to pick it back up again. My main problem was that this story progresses WAY to quickly! I often felt like I was reading a rough draft (with numerous grammatical, spelling, formatting, etc. errors) that needed to be developed. I wanted more from the book, more about the characters, the situations, the relationships, but I never received it. I think this book could be fleshed out to probably three times its current length, and that would provide the detail and depth that would make this an incredible story. I cannot speak for the second half of the book, since I still haven't gotten there, but after reading others' reviews, I get the feeling that it was no more developed than the first half.
Story-wise, I think this book has a lot of promise, lots of interesting things going on, but without the details, and with the breakneck speed the tale travels at, the story is rather thin. If you want a quick read, but without a lot of the background and richness one would generally expect from a book, then this would be a pretty good read for you. Just don't think to much about the details, and use your imagination :)
I'd love to see Blacio re-release this book after a lot of re-writing, or I suppose it would mostly be completely new writing, and if that ever happened, I would read the result with great interest!!
(Oh, and if I could, I would give the book 2.5 stars, because I think the story has a great foundation)
Sierra has the weight of the world on her shoulders or at least it feels like it. I could understand and empathize with her angst with a protective and powerful family. And then she meets the brothers and the level of control over her life becomes enhanced as enemies seem to come out of the woodwork. Trinity Blacio did a wonderful job of articulated Sierra’s discontent. I could appreciate Sierra’s desire for normalcy even as her world became crazier. I enjoyed Sierra’s determination to make her men work for her in spite of fate. She wanted them to appreciate her in all her faucets even as she knew they were her future. I was impressed with her desires even if I couldn’t always agree with her decisions. Roman and Garth were strong alpha men and navigating the emotional mind field mating is is something both men struggled with. I could appreciate their struggle even as I enjoyed some of Sierra’s antics. But with The Empress’ Rapture, Ms. Blacio did what I believe she does extremely well. She again gave us a new world full of rich detail. It was multi-layered and multi-dimensional. I enjoyed seeing the many components that lent itself to a series if Ms. Blacio so desires even as she gave us a story of love and acceptance.
Being the daughter of an Alpha wolf can be domineering and can be tense, especially when she's being pushed to find her mate....having just walked in her boyfriend causing not only one betrayal but two, she's ready to turn a new leaf....but him...nah he's ready for revenge, and he will have her, whether she likes it or not.....
In walks the sexy duo of brothers Garth & Roman...these guys...wow! There hot and totally domineering....
Again, I'm sorry to do this, but this needs it's grammatical errors sorting out....It put me off after a while.. :(
Having x2 might fight for her attention, a new family to come to know, and and evil force that won''t be reckoned with that is after her for her power.....nothing they can't handle right?
I won this book so it kills me to do this. I just did not like it. The two main guys were jerks and I did not like them. The story in the beginning was disjointed and hard to follow. I just think there was too much going on during the story for it to be good. I think the author was going for hot alpha males but they were mean and refused to listen. For goodness sake they bruised Sierra and then she had to apologize. I did not like that at all.
