Excellently researched.
Easy to dip in and out of (and possible a better way of reading it - not an option for me as it was a library issue)
Well structured with chapters on each line of the prayer and sections on main thinkers at the back too.

I struggled to get into this book. I really enjoy learning about language and the stories behind common sayings and prayers so I was looking forward to an in-depth exploration of the Lords prayer... and that is what was provide it just didn't seem to stick for me. I read the book cover to cover but I can't really recall any of the details. It took me a month to plough through it and by about 1/3 in I was counting pages. I can't put my finger on what I struggled with and I'm pretty sure this one comes down to personal writing style preference. I hope others enjoy it more.
