Interesting read. But the solution is just one thing- diffusing young living oils. Seems far fetched, but I definitely have started diffusing a lot more often.

One of my top ten books in my life in terms of effect on my personal life. Written by an environmental engineer who deals with mold in buildings, this book describes the symptoms and illnesses caused by hidden mold, including the near death of a young boy who played in a basement room with mold under a carpet and in the walls that could not be seen or smelled. It also describes the ability of plants to make defenses against fungi which can be distilled into essential oils. These oils are then diffused into homes with mold problems.

In most other methods of dealing with mold, the mold is killed but the spores remain and the mold returns. With correct diffusion of suitable essential oils, the mold spores are destroyed.

Most of this book contains case studies of buildings in which the author tested the building for mold both inside and outside the building, before and after the application of essential oils.

The book might seem dry because it is basically a lot of environmental engineering reports... but not dry at all if you are looking for a lasting solution to mold. Then, you can hardly put the book down.
