Lia Scott is stuck. Stuck in a dead-end job, stuck with her penny-pinching boyfriend, and stuck in cold, wet London. When she's made redundant, Lia decides to take drastic action, and escapes to the South of France to reinvent herself as a writer.
Not a staggering story line and at times a little too predictable but I loved the imagery it created when describing the landscape, the flowers and especially the food. Made me want to visit Southern France and it ended leaving me wanting to continue on with the characters to see what happens for them next.
