A world where third children are illegal and have to remain hidden to live. This is the first book of the series and it was fantastic! Read years ago and it still resonates with me as does the entire series.

Among the Hidden By Margeret Peterson Haddix is a realistic fiction, and I rated it 1 star.

Among the Hidden is taking place in a family's house that lives on a farm. These parents has 3 kids, but your only allowed to have 2 for each family. The kids names are Mark,Mathew,And the 3rd child is Luke.Luke has to hide in his house. When the people who built building were done with the houses, families moved in.This one family had a 3rd child also.Luke Made a plan to go see if he was correct about the 3rd child. When he finally went over there standing there was a girl. Her name is Jen. Jen is like a tomboy, she does everything her mind is set to.

Among the Hidden By Margeret Peterson Haddix was a book about a family having 3 kids instead of 2.The 3rd child goes on an adventure with another 3rd child. To be honest I did not like the book at all.For 1 it is just really boring and the parents are strict.Another reason is that the book didn't make that much sense to me.I don't recomened it but if people want to read it go on ahead because it's my opinion.

Not sure what type of message the author was trying to put forth. A child describes how he is loved but only when convenient. Not a recommended read.

A very new sci-fi story that peaked my interest, tells a nice, simple story that is set in are own time line, I really loved this story because of its emotion. I recommend this story to all readers.
