For younger readers but still good. I don't know anything about car racing so it was nice to get an inside view. Did not like how the book ends. You have to buy the next book to see what happened. I guess that's one way to get people to buy the next book in the series!
It was a good book I really love cars but this book was a little more drama and a little less car. But over all I enjoyed the book and I personally would not go back and read it twice.

Blind spot was an intereting book. The main characters in this book were Tim Carhardt,Jamie Maxwell, her dad and Mr.Devalon.Well Tim Carhardt is drifting through life with one goal survival. Jamie Maxwell believes she can become the first female winner of the cup,But life isnt always as easy as it seems, without faith and trust.Just then before she knew her dreams, everything came to a complete end.She realizes that she cant do anything without god,and if you put him first your life changes in a positive way.I recommend this book to any one from teenage years and up pretty much anybody that want to read a life changing story.I liked this book because it wasnt the usaul,Blind Spot had a great message and was quite intertaining even though i havent finished it,I might go back and read it.Blind Spot hasnt been made into a movie or doesnt have anything saying it will be.Overall a amazing book to read,or what i have read.I give it four out of five stars!Enjoy!
Entry 1- Tim Carhardt and Jamie Maxwell are the main characters and protagonists. Butch Devalon and his helpers are antagonists. Tim and Jamie do not meet in this book. Entry 2- The setting is mainly at the racing track. The point of view is from Tim and Jamie. Entry 3 Dale Maxwell kills Tim's father, who is a member of a racing crew. Tim has to stay with Tyson and Vera, who are drug users and drunkaholics. DaleMaxwell has a heart for God and is clean driver, but Butch Devalon is really dirty and tries to prevent Jamie and Dale from getting to the top

Overall, I liked the story, but I knocked it down to 3 stars for the ending. I know that there are more books in this series, but this had such an abrupt cliffhanger ending that jarred me. I didn't mind the Christian aspect in the book since the teens had friends/acquaintances in church youth groups plus Dale Maxwell incorporated it into his life. A good, relatively clean book especially for young readers who like race cars and getting a look at some of the behind the scene action in the pit.
Well written YA novel for guys and gals alike. Gives just enough technical details to teach without coming across like he's doing so. I was hooked from Chapter 1 but was oh so disappointed by the cliffhanger ending! Oh, well. I'll definitely want to be purchasing Book 2. That's a sign right there how much I enjoyed the story.
Read this series of books as a family whenever we were in the car together. They were all very good! Sometimes we'd get home and drive around the block a couple of times because it was just too good to stop reading!
