This story follows Jade and Damian. Damian is a mafia billionaire and Jade is his maid. In the beginning he thinks she is a spy and treats her poorly to say the least. Once he realizes that she is running from someone he works hard to keep her safe.
This story is good for a quick smutty read. If you need something to give you a quick shot of dopamine this is for you.

Just tore through Claimed by Him by Cleo Noir—and damn, this one scorches. What starts as a simple maid hiring turns into a twisted game of suspicion and lust. Damian, the dangerous mafia billionaire with ice-blue eyes, is convinced Jade is a spy—and he’ll do whatever it takes to get to the truth. Trapped in his penthouse, she becomes the object of his obsession, caught between danger and desire. The tension is electric, the chemistry explosive, and the pace? This dark romance calls you with every sinful whisper. OMG 😱 this was extremely and forbidden romance. It was a page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down literally. Jade was treated really bad by Damian. Damian is a mafia billionaire and Jade is his maid. Damian was a jerk to Jade but something about him that had intrigued him in a physical of emotions and passion. But Jade never thought that she could falling in love with her boss Damian. But Damian wanted to have one night with Jade in this moment but the chemistry between them was heating up the sparks in their body and soul. They couldn’t even fight the temptation anymore and he wanted her to be his and only his sexual toy.

The story of Damian and Jade keeps you glued to your book from the first page. Their story is about distrust, Damian is a mafia billionaire who has hired Jade as his maid but finds her acting suspicious and suspects that she is a spy who has infiltrated his household to get information about his business. Damian does not like spies and people who gain access to his house under false pretenses and how he treats her because he still thinks she is spying on him. As soon as he finds out that she is not a spy but on the run, his protectiveness and the beast in him comes to the surface and he does everything he can to protect her and keep her safe, there is drama, action, danger, romance and enough dirty talk and a lot of steam and heat.

When all fingers point to the Jade, the mafia boss’ housekeeper, Damian has no choice but to investigate his seemingly innocent employee, something he has no trouble doing if he is going to flush out the person responsible for his recent four failed pick-ups, indicating perhaps someone was feeding the Feds info. Of course, it might be Jade, the woman cleaning his house, the one with an attitude problem. She becomes an obsession, however, when digging deeper into her background reveals secrets she would rather keep and run from. Short and steamy stalker/obsession read with HEA.

It's definitely a quick read!

Jade needed a job, and Damian was "kind enough" to give her a job as a maid in his house. She went into this job knowing that he isn't a good guy, but she's running from much worse. Read to find out how this book ends!

Keep in mind this this is a very short story. Things moved along quite fast, so I didn't have an unreasonably high expectation for loads of information. The amount of information that was given was enough to keep the story moving at an appropriate pace.

Overall, I enjoyed how the story played out.

First time I’ve read a book by this author. This is most definitely the quickest book that I’ve read. This story is about Damien and Jade. He is a mobster of sorts and she is his maid. He originally thought that she sold him out by spying but in the end, she truly wasn’t. She was trying to save herself from a past she was running from. The attraction is there and then things get steamy. When Damien finds scars on her wrists, he wants to know who hurt her. When Riley finds out that she is running from Evan, Damien promises that she will forever be safe with him. In then end he right.

This is very enjoyable erotica, with just the right amount of plot (not too much) and just the right amount of spice (a lot). It’s short, but very lush. I was left with questions about Lila, but I didn’t spend much time thinking about it. I was busy enjoying the book.

Not What it Seems

Damian suspects a spy could be working for him and begins to treat Jade with suspicion. However, her secret is not what he thinks and it changes things between them. It was a short and steamy story. While it was fun to read, it left me wondering about the spy. Other than that being resolved it was good for a quick and naughty read.

Phew!

This is a super fast, light on plot heavy on spice, story that will be fun as a palate cleanser or just to catch up on your reading goal for the year. Despite it being a short read the characters still have good chemistry and the plot DOES develop. There's another story in the series, I don't believe it's connected but, I plan to read it as well! Definitely a fun one too fully dive into.

I love that Damien basically runs anything he touches, and he gets to the truth by his methods... his way.

Jade did not stand a chance against her bodies reaction to Damien and the shadowed feeling of being stalked by her nemesis. Damien did what henalways does take what he wants and reolves the threat to jkepps what's his...I LOVE IT!!!!

Great short story, with great characters and smut overload. Damian falls first and falls hard, but goes about it the wrong way, Jade is hiding a secret, sure she is, but not what you would think. What happens when the truth comes out? You should just read this book with a nice hot cup of cocoa, curled up under a cozy blanket

A very fast, paced mafia romance with little plot that leaves you with questions. It is a very hot read,and when Damien takes her, he isn't gentle. The questions that it leaves you have to use your imagination as to the answers. But the book does state that it is a short read, so don't expect too much.
