Good book but it tries to cover too much.

It tries to be encyclopedic about fresh and saltwater aquariums, as well as ponds in about 300 pages. Not a bad place to start for rookies but it may tell you a lot more than you bargained for on topics u may or may not even be interested in.

Very informative

I found this a very good introduction to keeping aquariums. I read it after setting up mine but found the information very useful. It covered all aspects of keeping fish and maintaining the aquarium environment.
