I am writing a review on the book Ice Age Mammoth writen by Barbara Hehner.
I liked this book because of the information it gives your not only about the mammoth but about many different other animals, that were in the "Ice Age". This book does not have a main character as there is only one character the mammoth. My favorite quote from this book would have to be "Will this ancient giant come back to life?" as it gives the book a interesting feel to it and hooks the reader in.My favorite moment would have to be when they talk about the woolly mammoth being cloned as they compare the genes to elephants today and find very similar matches, but most importantly they state that "The mightiest land mammal of the ice age might find life today" as it keeps me as a reader entertained. The book has very good dialogue as they talk about how they fought one and another with sentences like the tusk smashes against the others with the force of a hammer smashes against a nail. I rated this book 4 star because I feel if you were looking for a book on mammoths this would be the top one to go with.
