The Starfire Prophecy A promising debut with a powerful finish

This debut novel started off strong, with a really unique world and a compelling slowburn enemies-to-lovers romance that had me hooked early on. The pacing in the middle did slow down a bit, and I found myself wishing for a bit more character development to keep the momentum going. That said, the ending was action-packed and satisfying even if some plot points were a little predictable.

The love triangle wasn’t my favorite element, and it felt a bit unnecessary at times, especially since the dual POV gave away where the romance was likely headed. Still, the romance itself was enjoyable, and let’s be honest, the shadowy, broody MMC was definitely a highlight.

While I debated between 3 and 4 stars, I’m leaning toward a 3 star just because of the predictability and pacing issues. But overall, there’s so much potential here, and I’m excited to see what this author does next! Thanks to the author and the NerdFam for the gifted ARC.

ARC REVIEW
The Starfire Prophecy is Chantelle Kerr’s debut novel, out June 10th. This fantasy-romance had me completely hooked once I got past the slightly slower start, and by the end, I was frantically flipping pages, already wondering when I can get my hands on book two.

The story follows our fierce FMC, Sera, a seemingly normal human who finds herself at the center of something much bigger when she realizes she’s being watched—not by one, but two angels of death. One of them is our MMC, Keres, a shadow-wielding, broody, emotionally repressed Angel of Death who has (plot twist) basically been obsessed with Sera for her entire life. No big deal. Sera's world is completely upended when she finds out her whole life has been a lie and she now has to work with Keres to fulfill a prophecy that could save or destroy the world. It's very "you're a wizard, Harry" but darker, and I loved it.

Sera is everything I love to see in a main character: sassy, smart, stubborn, and fiercely loyal. Watching her character evolve over the course of the book was incredibly satisfying. I especially loved her relationship with her best friend Lulu, who honestly stole the show more than once. Lulu is the kind of ride-or-die bestie we all wish we had—funny, supportive, and surprisingly layered. What made her even more special was the way she didn’t just support Sera—she also extended real friendship to Keres when he needed it most.

Now let’s talk about Keres. If you like your love interests broody, sarcastic, and emotionally damaged with a heart of gold buried very deep under all the angst—congrats, you’re going to love him. His banter with Sera had me smiling, and the tension? *Chef’s kiss* There’s so much slow burn, push-and-pull chemistry between them, it practically crackles off the page.

The only thing that kept it from a 5 star was that the beginning was a little confusing and a bit slow to get into—but once it picks up, it really picks up. The pacing smooths out, things are explained more, the stakes get higher, and the emotional investment just keeps growing. Oh, and the cliffhanger?? Absolutely brutal (in the best way).

Final thoughts: This was such a strong debut filled with tension, magic, secrets, lies, betrayals, and a romance that made my heart race. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next. Thank you to TheNerdFam for the gifted eARC—this one is definitely going on my favorites shelf, I gave it a 4.25/5 ⭐

A thousand thank yous to Chantelle for allowing me to be an ARC reader of her debut book! Here is my honest review!

I didn't want this to end, yet at the same time, I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the very beginning. The Starfire Prophecy is a fast-paced romantasy! Enemies to lovers with all the yearning and banter we love. It didn't take long for me to get lost in the celestial world. I caught myself holding my breath throughout moments in the story, expectant on what was coming next. Book 2?!

"But for you Sera... I'd tear the heavens apart and burn the stars to ash." *Swoon*

Escape reality and give this a read. You won't regret it!

First of all - thanks to the author for providing me with the ARC copy, I appreciate it !

A few words on what I liked and didn’t like about the book.

If you are just getting into fantasy, I think this could be a book for you, as the world is not overly complicated and things are kept simple.

Personally, out of all characters, I liked grandma the most bc she was so cute and relatable, giving us some wholesome moments .

The book starts rather slow, and not much really happens before page 300ish when everything kind of happens at once .

There are two things I really disliked:
1. Describing everything and anything a bit too much. There are paragraphs and paragraphs to describe things that don’t matter at all. Also repeating words and sentences over and over again sometimes within the same chapters.

2. The nicknames - “little dove” and “little starfire” were a bit cringe.

The character development and storytelling in my opinion were lacking, but this is not to say that someone wouldn’t enjoy this book, it just didn’t work for me.

✨ “Because I now knew: not all heroes are born; some are forged in the crucible of pain. And I would use every shard of mine to destroy him.” ✨

I could not put down the Starfire Prophecy!!! The author did an amazing job at weaving in so many reflections of taking charge of your own destiny even when it feels like one’s suffering is written into fate itself. Our main love interests are two sides of the same coin. They’ve both loved and lost and now feel the need to protect their own hearts in different ways. If you love world building, hidden destiny, burn the world down for each other, and a heroine who can feel depths of grief at wanting her old life but still gets to be a badass heroine, you will love this book. Chantelle’s writing truly draws you in. I can’t wait for the second… which is coming right👀???

✔️Broody love interest
✔️Slow burn with a fulfilling and intense climax 😜
✔️Defiant heroine
✔️Betrayal
✔️Nothing is as it seems
✔️Trust no one
✔️Prophecy that everyone is fighting for but can’t seem to agree on the journey to the end

Here's the thing, the first few sample chapters (on Amazon) already unleash a stream of 'pressing [in on, closer, down, onto]', 'yielding', 'deliberate', 'whispers' or 'whispering', 'steady', 'anchors, 'gentle but firm', someone's "presences filling XYZ with reassurance", 'a reminder', and all that 'purpose'. So far - chapter 5 - all I am missing is the comical overuse of 'resolve' that usually goes along with all the aforementioned.

Plus all those 'like' (as in: X [is] like Y) - not that there is anything wrong with comparisons in general either, but AI is [in]famously overusing them to the point of blatant abuse of language. It's AI's ever present urge to explain itself, over and over and over and over again to the reader, and one of its favourite ways to do that is by painting weird pictures and using tons of 'like' scattered throughout all the drivel it generates.

And yes, there's also the thing with the em-dashes. Not that em-dashes in general are pointing towards AI writing, but a horrendous overuse of them - whilst about 75% of them are either redundant, nonsensical, or misplaced - certainly points strongly into the direction of AI. Even more so if they are mixed with generally rather short and simple sentences, and, whenever the sentences are not short and simple, they are overladen with em-dashes. Now take the typical AI speak mentioned in the previous paragraph, mix all of that together, shake well, and ... come to your own conclusions.

Mine is, this is either 1) AI "written", 2) strongly AI 'assisted' "writing", or 3) got "edited" by AI and nobody with a sense for language and an actual knack - and passion - for writing did proofread and polish it afterwards.

I'd place my bet strongly on #1 or #2.

All the empty phrases, redundant (self-)explaining, and total overwriting point into the direction of an AI generated "book".

There's also this:

'His breath ghosted my ear.' His breath did what now?

'Spices and bread floated on the breeze.' Well now, that's certainly a choice for an image...

'The weight of it [a feather] settled immediately.' Ah yes, of course, feathers are famously heavy.

'Each step harder than the last [...]', or some variation thereof, is a phrase I keep reading in every bloody AI generated fantasy "book" I've had the questionable - and rather unfortunate - "pleasure" of coming across so far. The same goes for all those "calm and/but steady" somethings (voices, steps, demeanours, resolves (ah yes, AI's most favourite word) etc)

'Fear slid down my back'. That's not a thing fear can do, just saying.

'Dread iced down my spine'. Almost as "good" as the "fear sliding down her back". Almost.

'[T]ore it open without ceremony.' Sure, why write 'unceremoniously' when the unwieldy and clumsy 'without ceremony' - which also has a slightly different meaning attached to it, usually - is right there.

All those are examples of choices - are they, though? - and most certainly not good ones.

And with the 'every movement weighted' following another "honed and formidable presence" I just about had enough of this drivel.

I do not need to finish reading the whole sample to know this carries all the trademarks of AI "writing".

I recommend not wasting your precious reading time on this but picking up one of the much better written and soul-fuelled books that are 100% human created instead - as there are plenty of those and our time for reading is, rather unfortunately, quite limited.

Be choosy with the books you read, especially these days. Unless you want to support AI peddlers. I most certainly do not.

The Starfire Prophecy surpassed my expectations from the moment I opened the dedication page. Chantelle N. Kerr did a wonderful job developing a romantic fantasy world with imagery that painted beautiful pictures of magic without being overly flowery or indulgent.

I came to enjoy the characters more as the story progressed and can’t wait for the second book to come out. Sera, the female protagonist, discovers more than just her heritage as she faces both internal and external doubts. She discovers that she has magic. She becomes something she knew she wasn’t capable of. I enjoyed watching her growth and her strength.

Sera also finds a beautiful love. I won’t give away who she develops a relationship with, but the author does a nice job building romantic tension. It had me cheering for their success as a couple. The writing during romantic scenes is beautifully and tastefully executed by the author.

Sera’s best friend, Lulu, acts as both comic relief and a much needed support throughout the book. I loved her! Her devotion to her friend even as a human in a magical world is something of legend!

Other characters include angels of death Keres and Michael, among other Arch Angels, Gods and tyrannical systems. The way Chantelle showed the depth of complexity with all the characters was amazing. I loved that the Angels of Death had trauma of their own to overcome. I am always looking for hidden symbolism in fictional books to learn from and this book was full of lessons to learn.

This book was well written, complex, entertaining, and beautiful. I easily gave it five stars because I couldn’t put it down. I feel lucky to be given this as an advanced reader copy and that I had a sneak peek into the world of Sera, Lulu, Keres, Michael, Azrael, etc.
Thanks Chantelle N. Kerr and Book Funnel for the opportunity to read and review this book.

ARC REVIEW
Thank you to Chantelle and NerdFam for allowing me to read and review this ARC

3⭐️

Firstly I want to acknowledge that this is a debut novel and by no means a bad one! Chantelle’s writing style, descriptions and overall detail are what make me like this book!

However, for me personally the overall plot fell flat. There are inconsistencies and plot holes within that I couldn’t ignore. The storyline and pacing wasn’t quite right and left me somewhat confused where and what was supposed to be happening at points. This ended up making the relationships feel much less interesting, not genuine and again flat. I ended up not caring if the MMCs got together (and wishing they didn’t to add tension for the next book).

The plot itself was fine, but with the lack of context sometimes it was hard to REALLY get engaged and at around 60-70% I almost DNFed because I wasn’t invested in the outcome. The mystery surrounding Sera’s father isn’t at all hard to guess because it is the most OBVIOUS opinion available.

I am unsure whether I will be continuing this series!

If you’ve made it this far into my review, these are my opinions and the greatness of reading is that it’s personal. Please read The Starfire Prophecy if you like the sound of the blurb and you are a sucker for a shadow daddy!! There is some spicy with some detailing but not SUPER explicit.

✨ARC Review✨

To start I want to thank the author for providing me with an ARC for this book!

If you’re looking for a chance to dive into a new fantastical world filled with angels, fae and magic and a strong FMC this could be your next read!

The world building over the course of the story as new characters and story lines continued to be revealed kept me immersed and rushing to find out what was coming next. Sera has a strong “I can do it myself” personality and struggles to let others in to help her but would do anything she could for her found family and over the course of the book comes to realize that sometimes someone she originally saw as her enemy could be the one is who would do anything to keep her protected.

This book has almost all of my favorite tropes in it:
Slow burn
Enemies to lovers
Banter
Touch her and you die
Found Family

The dual POV allowed me inside the head of both sides of the slow burn and yearning between Sera and Keres and built up the tension between them even more!

The cliffhanger at the end of this book left me on the edge of my seat wanting more and I can’t wait to see where this story headed.

First of all, thank you to Chantelle and Book Funnel for graciously providing me an ARC copy to read.

This book is a true enemies-to-lovers trope. It is what other books vie to emulate. True enemies, the “I was meant to kill you” and “on opposite sides of the war”.

Sera is a strong FMC who carves her own path from nothing, uncovers her own past and remakes herself. She is a powerful character based on personality alone. While a bit stubborn and reckless, she has a good heart reflected through her actions.

Keres is a dark, mysterious MMC who is the yin-yang match for Sera in every way. He learns to slowly care for Sera and recognize her as her own person rather than a tool for a prophecy.

I am so excited for the next book in the series as I was gripped into the realm from day 1. I can’t wait for Chantelle to release her next book. I’ll be casually rereading this book on my kindle while waiting patiently!

One of my favourite reads of 2025 and I need book two! This story was a marvellous wonder of detailed descriptions and epic characters that immediately drew me in. The tension, the plot and the spice were very so well written. The ending left me with all the feels and desperation for the next book because I need to know what happens next!

In theory, the plot of The Starfire Prophecy is an interesting one: we have our MMC Keres, your typical morally grey shadow daddy with wings, who works as an Angel of Death for the all powerful beings known as The Shine. Years ago Keres was sent to kill Sera, the FMC, and her entire family - while he did kill her parents, he spared Sera as he knew that she would one day play a part in a prophecy that could bring down The Shine. For obvious reasons, Sera has hated Keres since the night of her parents death and has worried that he would one day come back to finish the job.

While many aspects of this plot felt pulled from existing romantasy tropes, it still has enough uniqueness to pique my interest.

My struggle was the dynamic between our two main characters. You have this build up for a perfect enemies-to-lovers scenario but it just completely falls flat. There’s some initial delicious back and forth banter after Keres rescues Sera from an attack and brings her back to his home. He even ups the ante by capturing her best friend and bringing her along for the ride, simultaneously giving Sera motivation to work with him while also giving her peace of mind that her friend won’t be hurt back in the human realm.

Within two days of being with Keres, Sera seemingly gets over the YEARS of hatred she had for him and is wildly attracted to him and completely trusts him. Umm…….what???? And Keres, rather than just being up front and telling her who she is, gives her some ass backwards story about needing to save the child of prophecy and endlessly debates whether or not he should tell her the truth because suddenly he’s in love with her and she’s his destiny.

This goes back and forth for several chapters (i.e. one very long day) until someone else tells Sera the truth and she is devastated. Like literally, heart broken because Keres, a.k.a. the man she loathed last week, had lied to her. She does the most obvious thing: runs away from her problems. But only like down the hall so it’s okay. Keres becomes a dejected teenager and mopes about, periodically getting told off by someone that wants him to go fix the situation with Sera only for him to go find Sera, say something that makes the situation so much worse, and then walk off playing “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M. in his head because he may have lost his soul mate.

I almost forgot the love triangle with the exact same male character, but with grey wings. Because gaslighting comes in all colors.

There’s a bunch of other more interesting stuff going on in the background with The Shine and Sera’s “who’s yer daddy” journey, but honestly it was underplayed to the forced romance plot.

I’m giving the book 2.25 stars. I think the author started off with a great concept, but focused so much on trying to force the romance that the rest of the story was lost.

Thank you to The Nerd Fam, the author and publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review.

My First 5-Star Read of the Year!
This book absolutely blew me away—it’s my first 5-star read of the year! The writing was perfectly detailed, easy to follow, and completely immersive. I had no trouble keeping up with the story, the characters, or the plot.

The plot itself was phenomenal—so well-developed and full of depth. Every character had a distinct personality and was beautifully crafted. I genuinely couldn’t put this book down; it was incredibly addicting! The tension kept me on my toes, constantly wanting more.

The plot twists twisted, the love triangle was deliciously intense, and the betrayals and surprises? Jaw-dropping. Oh, and the spice? Let’s just say it had me smiling more than once!

The ending left me hanging in the best (and most painful) way—I need the next book yesterday. If you loved the ACOTAR series, this is a must-read. It has similar vibes but, in my opinion, it’s even better.

With Angels, Fae, and Gods woven into the storyline, plus vividly written action scenes that played like a movie in my head, this book was everything I wanted and more.

Highly recommend!

I could not put it down!!! A definite 10/10 I fell in love with the characters immediately and the fantasy world Chantelle created. The descriptive writing is SOOOOOOO good, you literally feel like you are a part of their world.

There are so many surprises you don't see coming and then BAM, something you didn't expect hits you and you have to read MORE to see what the next page brings.

The intensity between Keres and Sera leaves you wanting, waiting and at the edge of your seat. The passion, the twists, the excitement, this book has it ALL! This is a MUST read for anyone that loves romance fantasy, I promise it will not disappoint!!

Thank you to the Nerd Fam and the author for an ARC copy! Even though I didn’t love this book, I am grateful for the opportunity to read it ahead of release day.

Now onto the good stuff. I almost dnf’d this but chose to power through. The concept in and of itself is what kept me going. I was curious to find out what would happen but for about 350 pages…nothing happens. The plot was stagnant for soooo long. The writing style wasn’t for me either - it was overly descriptive for me with poetic attempts that fell flat. It was choppy too and the dialogue seemed to not flow naturally - was a little odd at times.

My main issue was how insufferable the FMC is. I couldn’t stand her at all. I liked the MMC but his character lacked a lot of depth and growth. Their relationship was underdeveloped too. It was a slow burn but with minimal development prior to them getting together.

I wish I loved this but it just wasn’t for me!

Thanks to the Nerd Fam and Chantelle for this ARC.

This was something, and tbh, I had several moments where I was going to DNF but pushed through. The premise is interesting but everything else is so one-dimensional and there’s a lot of filler.

Maybe I’m crabby in my oldish age but reading that the MMC was just trying to protect the FMC as an excuse several times was exhausting to the point I started skipping through chapters just to get to the next plot point.

Let's talk about "The Starfire Prophecy" by Chantelle N. Kerr

"You are Starfire. And Starfire kneels for no one."

I will be honest, I am a sucker for anything that has angels in it, so when finding out about this debut novel by Chantelle N. Kerr had angels - and Angels of Death to be exact - I was all over this read.

Set in a world where the Angels of Death are sent out to do the bidding of the Shine (the gods who rule the world), they do so in order to keep a prophecy from coming to fruition. The world had once burned in shadows and fire, and would come to be again if a certain girl was granted to live. So when an angel is sent to murder the girl and her parents - he lets her live - setting in motion the start of what could be the worlds end or beginning.

"I am fire. And I will rise."

We come to meet Sera, the child of fire and shadows, but she has yet to learn who she truly is, living her normal mortal life with her best friend Lulu, trying only to survive each day. She is aware though of a certain Angel always lurking around, watching her, never too far from her sight, but always wondering when he will strike. She knows he is death...and he's been patiently waiting.

Keres, who is ever on the sidelines, waits knowing that he will need to make sure the Shine never takes Sera, but also knows that she could ruin them all. He's death incarnate, but he's ready to fall from grace just to protect her. Is he supposed to release her from her fate, or be the catalyst to her ending?

"She was the prophecy itself, a force capable of ending everything. My redemption - and my undoing."

The two meld into one another, pushing against untruths, and secrets. Of realms hidden and lives destroyed. With every twist of the knife, ever shadow that slips from the dark, Sera is tossed up against Keres. She could be his to protect or his to destroy. The truth only lies within Sera and she's needing to break in order to be released from it's hold.

Thank you to Nerd Fam and Chantelle for allowing me to review this book for my open and honest feedback.

✨️ ARC Review ✨️

I signed up for this ARC solely based on the cover because, look a it, is gorgeous! And the art?! Even prettier!

This romantasy story is full of everything we love! Tension, strong FMC, shadow daddies, endearing side characters, delicious slow-burn, fate, and much more!!

Sera is such a beautifully constructed character, her development goes from innocent, but not naive, to a full-mode female rage that I loved to read!

Oh Keres... he had me melting on my knees all freaking book!! He is an actual Angel of Death who will destroy the world for her and I could not stop reading him ♡

I won't share more about the other characters cause I think it is important for the story that everyone forms their own opinions, but just fyi, they are good!

The only thing that threw me off a bit was that occasionally, especially at the beginning, the story jumps abruptly from one event to another, and even though I absolutely prefer a non-over-explained book, I would have loved a bit more development at times.

Reading this ARC was a full experience and I loved everything. From getting to know Chantelle's writing style, to sharing with other readers while reading it, to annotating almost every chapter! Thank you for this opportunity ♡

This book is out on June 10th 🖤✨️

***

Firstly thank you to Chantelle for allowing me to be an ARC Reader for this amazing book.

This book follows Sera and her journey of self discovery as her destiny is revealed and learns that the life that she knew was a lie. She is taken by an Angel of Death in order for her to fulfil the prophecy.

Whilst the book started off a bit slower, it did not take long for the story to pick up and become a fast paced and captivating read with some amazing characters, and one who made me want to throw my Kindle out of the window. Lulu, Sera’s best friend, quickly became a favourite.

The slow burn romance was perfectly executed and I loved how it didn’t take over the plot. The moments the romance did provide were everything and the tension was insane.

There were some words and phrases that were repeated a lot quite close together but other than that, it was such an amazing read with so many twists and turns and the ending left me in shock. I need book 2 now because I need answers.

Some of my favourite tropes in this book:
⚔️ Enemies to lovers
⚔️ Touch her and you die
⚔️ Found Family
⚔️ Banter & Yearning

The Starfire Prophecy will be released on June 10th 2025.

The starfire Prophecy follows sera in this crazy word where angels and faeries and magic exist. Her life turns upside down when she gets taken by this angel shadow daddy (😉) and realizes that everything she knew was not true and needs to find out the truth about herself.

Some of my fav tropes are in this book!
⚔️enemies to lovers
⚔️touch her and die
⚔️Betrayal

You’ve got a slow burn romance but the romance doesn’t overshadow or become the plot which I appreciated.

The beginning was a little confusing at times because of the way the world building was done, which was a very learn as you go. I felt like I had missed something when things were mentioned in a way that made it seemed like I should already know 😅 but once the world building was set I was hooked ☺️

The way this ended has me so sad I have to wait for book 2 and the authors note at the end made me tear up a little 😅 I got this as an arc but now I want the physical copy ☺️

I took my time reading this book. Not because it was hard to read, not by any means. This was an enjoyable ride start to finish. This is a romantasy that exudes enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, found family, and he falls first. You begin with Sera, the badass FMC who has always seen the angel of death since she was little. Little does she know that Keres, the angel that has been stalking her, has more to him than meets the eye. There are amazing minor characters who steal your heart (I’m talking about you Lulu) and a journey filled with deception, discovery, and discord that is littered with witty banter, stolen glances, and a waging war coming to head. The Starfire Prophecy is a great time and Chantelle put her foot in this book. And that cliffhanger!!!!! I’m ready for more!

Thank you to The Nerd Fam for the gifted books. #thestarfireprophecy #thenerdfam

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the street team for this stunning debut! While the beginning was a tad hard to follow, I’m so glad I stuck with it—because once it clicked, I was hooked.

This story is brimming with chosen one energy set in an ethereal world full of Angels, Monsters, and Fae. It’s immersive, emotional, and filled with tension in all the right places. The MMC, Keres, delivers major broody, dark, and dangerous vibes—with that irresistible “touch her and die” energy we all adore.

I also loved the banter & friendship between the FMC & her bestie Lulu 🥹🫶🏽

If you love high-stakes fantasy with otherworldly danger, romance, and a rich, magical atmosphere, The Starfire Prophecy needs to be on your radar.

Thank you to the author for this arc! There are some great elements to this book - shadow magic, prophecies, and an interesting sounding plot. The first chapter really peaked my interest and that opening paragraph was excellent, but unfortunately for me, I just found the progression of the storyline to be a bit too fast and I didn't feel I had enough world building or backstory to make me invested in the characters. I was a bit confused at times how angels and humans integrated, was the FMC meant to be a "badass" from the start, etc. This may absolutely be someone else's cup of tea though so I'd still recommend giving this a shot.

Arc Review*

This story follows FMC Sera who is pulled from her life by the Angel of Death to fulfill a prophecy that could change everything.

The story had an extremely strong start but some parts of the plot felt a tad rushed. For example the battle scene and the development of trust between key characters. I also wouldn’t have minded a bit more of the world building and lore. The slow burn romance between the main characters was very good and it definitely kept me engaged.

Despite these issues, it was still an enjoyable read. I’m definitely curious to see where the story goes in book two!

Ok this was SO different and so fun to read. I was on the edge of my seat constantly trying to figure out what was coming next only to be SHOOK when something else happened. The slow burn 😮‍💨 some of the best I’ve read. The YEARNING. The WRITING was SO beautiful and so descriptive and poetry like. Sera was so Aelin coded without being a copy and paste of Aelin and I can REALLY appreciate that. So nice to compare something without feeling like it was a rip off of another series I love. I NEED to know what’s next.

Join Sera on her journey to find out who she is and why she is so important to the Angels. Read along as she falls in love. But who will she choose in the end and will it be the right choice?

I feel like I would have enjoyed this book more if I didnt have so much going on in my life. It was really well written and the story was beautiful. I highly recommend it. I am currently in a pretty devastating book hangover and dont feel like I was able to give this the full appreciation it deserves. Id love to hear what you all think about it when it releases next week!!

This was confusing to start with and I nearly DNF as I was a bit choppy and I felt bits missing that would of helped with the world building and character growth. maybe it was the editing, not sure I liked the concept and the world but needed a bit more back story to make sense, it was as a bit predictable towards the end But saying that I look forward to the next one the banter and the relationship between the MMC and FMC was Ok but enjoyable.
