What a discovery… I can’t believe the quality of this poetry and poet, less snobbish (only in her writing tho) than Anne Carson, and so elegantly substantial like Elizabeth Bishop. Yet these references are only very subtle. I find Heather Treseler to have a very unique voice. It really energized me to find something truly good to read. I know I will hold on to these poems and read them many times until I can get my hands on her other collections (I don’t know how to do that from Europe yet).

this was amazing, i can’t even put into words how inspiring and full this was. less than 37 pages and it affected me that much! i split up my reading so much to savor it.
