Вроді як непогано але мене бісила їхня драма, і вічні відмовки Джини
Приємно здивувало те, що тут герої 40+ але я б не сказала що вони себе відповідно поводили
Джина зациклена на роботі, і при маленькій фігні кидає Джеремі
Джеремі знов вирішив повернути Джину, класно ставився до неї але мені здалось що він аж дуже владний і вона без його дозволу навіть води не може попити
Він то зник на 20 чи 30 років але нормальної причини я так і не почула, вони про це нормально і не поговорили
Та і про кохання тут мова і не йшла🤷🏿‍♀️ але це не дивно як для новели
Ще плюсом відмічу що події відбувались дуже повільно і логічно

this was a pretty fast book and idk maybe because it was short it made a lot of stuff time jump on dates and meetings between the 2.

Let's start over Gina is a real estate agent and a blast from her past comes back wanting back in her life after 30 years. he ghosted her and broke her heart and now Jeremy is back and wants to start again. I hated that everyone wanted Gina to forgive him like not 1 person was on her team. They all wanted her to take this man back. So there's a lot of tension between the 2 since now Gina is forced to work with him.

The reason he left and broke her heart he was an undercover CIA agent and couldn't have her in danger. So my question is why never connect her? in any way? you did 30 years later. Wouldn't you still be in the CIA? it didn't make sense to me and him not knowing she had a daughter 🙄

so yeah she called him daddy they started messing around again and drama with her boss.

I’m a sucker for a second chance, and this tantalizing, almost slow-burn, second chance ticked all my personal boxes. I really sympathized with Gina in this book. I completely understood why she worked so hard at resisting Jeremy. I mean, 30 years was a long time to be left wondering what went wrong. However, the confident, purposeful way Jeremy went about winning his way back into her trust and heart left me swooning. I loved the ending, but I almost wish the book weren’t over already.

I love second chance romance stories and this one was so good. Jeremy and Gina used to be an item but he left and she had to move on with her life. When he comes back, he's going to have to really work at getting back with her. The writing was so good and very easy to read and follow. Can Jeremy win his way back into Gina's heart? And what went wrong in the first place? Well, you're going to have to get the book to find out! It's a shorter story but you get all the feels without it feeling rushed!

This is the latest standalone, HEA story in the Naughty Girls Book Club and provides a great quick read. The story is well written with interesting characters and settings. Given the length, expect a quick paced story that tends to jump over events that may not be essential to the storyline, but if you're a reader who likes every detail, you may find annoying.

I enjoyed this story, although these aren't my favourite characters from the author, but it was a good read with an interesting setting.

I love a good short story when I just want to unplug and relax. This series fulfills all my short stories loves. Jeremy was Gina's first love, but now he's back. And times are steamy. I love their back and forth. Jeremy was 30 years ago for Gina, she's a strong independent woman now. She doesn't need someone to take care of her. But wouldn't it be nice if someone did. Too bad Jeremy disappears and she can't trust him. Or can she? Lots of angst, but laughter too. Great HEA.

Jeremy and Gina get their second chance when he comes back into her life after ghosting her. I am glad that the reason for him leaving isn't because of something horrible. I liked that Gina knew what she excelled at and I liked her finding that she could be relaxed with Jeremy. I am glad they were able to work through their past.

I love a quick read, and for it to be a second chance at love? Wonderful! Jeremy has his work cut out, so he can have a second chance with Gina. Gina has made a life for herself and doesn't need a man. But Jeremy is swoonworthy, and the story is fun to read.

How she try’s to deal with this and work with him on a huge real estate deal is a wonderful page turning read. These two make the cutest couple and you can’t help but root for them to make it. This was a short read. I liked the couple but found parts of the story were repetitive. I like the book club ladies, blunt and tell it like it is...in love, of course.
