Welcome to the nail-biting conclusion to the portal fantasy romance, the Triquetra Prophecy/Gods Among Us Trilogy.
It's when Prince Loki's consort marries his rival in order to save their son, that a prophecy is revealed that will lead to consequences that even the God of Chaos could never predict.
The Unseelie Goddess of War's revenge against Loki pushes Asgard's Black Prince into a no-win scenario. It was bad enough that the damn Atlantean prince had saved Shannon when Loki himself couldn't, but then Loki had to watch as Shannon married Elatha so his son wouldn't die on his first birthday. No matter what choice Shannon had made, she knew that her relationship with Loki wouldn't be left intact and she couldn't bear to lose her son, so she made the one choice she could. Now, it's tearing Loki apart to choose between losing his soulmate or his son.
There are those of Shannon's Elven relatives who have no problem in seeing her son pass away, but there are others who aren't so blah about the curse. But, it's the prophecy at the birth of Shannon's son that saw her and Elatha brought together in the arranged marriage. And then betrayal strikes, and that betrayal may not only be the key to not only saving her son but may be the key to Loki's redemption as well. The given prophecy hints at the chance to right a mistake that has haunted him, but, it could actually require more soul-searching than Loki could be comfortable with.
Just wait until Loki finds out that he's going to have to get along with those Norns-cursed Atlanteans so they can all achieve their goals.
If you enjoy romantasy with magic, mythology, soulmates, enemies-to-lovers, and sword and sorcery, chosen one quests with a feisty female heroine who doesn’t back down, don’t miss this explosive final book in the Triquetra Prophecy Trilogy within the Gods Among Us universe.
Please Note: This trilogy includes three main characters who are all romantically involved.
Origin is the 3rd and final book in the Triquetra Prophecy in the Gods Among Us universe by Melody Grace Hicks. I fell in love with this series with the first book and I jumped right into the second book without a second thought and then I was lucky that I was able to jump right into the 3rd book with very little wait. And I am just blown away by the skill that Melody has to keep drawing you back into the stories that she weaves and keeps you enthralled till the very last word.
Badb had Aedan, they were so cute and I loved that as they grew their personalities never really disappeared, they kept true to their heart and I sadly I knew that her curse wasn't totally gone.
I can honestly say that I love and adore all these characters. Each character is well defined and each character compliments each other perfectly and they all balance the other out. And the abilities that each character had were perfectly balanced between all the other characters.
Melody does a perfect job of tying mythology and fiction together and they form this world with such endless possibilities.
Loki and Elatha are dead set to save Shannon and Loki's son from a deadly curse that would see him die on his first birthday. Sadly they find out later that there's actually a life exchange if they want to save Loki and Shannon's son.
Throughout the book, Melody intervenes by placing several events in that have burdened the main characters with some cuts and bruises and caused a lot of excruciating pain into Loki's head.
Through it all Loki and Elatha were actually meant to be soulmates and in the end, they finally find a way to be together and gain their own HEA.
I'm leaving the spice and the heat for you to discover.
I highly recommend this book and this series. It is highly enjoyable and you'll be enthralled from the first word of the first book to the last word of this book. I can't wait to read more from this author and I can't wait to see what she writes next.
Melody did a good job of defining each of her main characters in terms that were made to complete each of their abilities. Shannon, Loki and Elatha were her characters who were on a quest to save Shannon's and Loki's son from a curse that was put on him that he would die at his first birthday. They then found out that there had to be a life for a life exchange for it to work. Melody intervenes with several hard fought events which have tended to burden our main characters with cuts and bruises and excruciating pain in Loki's head. During all this time Loki and Elatha were meant to be soulmates and were finally made to be. I'll let you discover all the sex that they have in your reading of this story for yourselves.
Origin is the third book of the Gods Among Us trilogy and brings readers along on another thrilling, immersive journey.
Just when you can breathe a sigh of relief the other shoe drops in this wildly entertaining world that flows with excellent writing and a cast of marvelously crafted characters firmly ensconced in imaginative world building that is overshadowed by a prophecy MFC Shannon is determined to see fail.
Danger, curses, prophecy, betrayal, magic, mythology, spice, violence, action, and adventure brings the Triquetra Prophecy to an explosive, edge of the seat close with the door left slightly ajar and a tease of more to come.

Oh my as usual this author keeps you drowning in the story until the very end then yanks you out and windmilling your arms to get your equilibrium back.
Badb had Aedan attached to an adult sized figurine so I knew her curse was not completely gone.
I love these characters and the way the author ties myths and other fiction together to form a world with endless possibilities. Can’t wait for her next book in this world.

i enjoyed getting to know all the characters in the gods among us series! i also loved letting loki figure out how remarkable he could be and how skewed his view of himself was. yes, he has his faults. everyone has faults. but to be able to accept the blessing of the norns, he has to get over himself and let fate take its course.
as always, the book was packed with so much suspense and drama. and a whole lot of intertwining stories. it was a blast reading and swimming in mythology. this romantasy is absolutely 2 thumbs up!
I read the first two books in this trilogy earlier this year, and was eagerly waiting for the conclusion. I was so happy when I got the chance to read it!
This book is HOT! Definitely don't read where someone can easily read over your shoulder.

Shannon and Loki are back and so is their crazy love story. So much happens in the book it had me glued to the end to watch it all unfold. Drama, action, intrigue, hilarious scenes, sad scenes and amazing characters kept the story fun to read. And a prophecy to keep things interesting too. Loved it. I received an early copy and this is my opinion.
Shannon & Loki Wow! I totally love the way this series is brought to a close! I related to the characters and their stories, and think that this book is Amazing! It was so worth the wait! Fantastic Finish! I Highly Recommend! No Spoilers! No Blurb Repeats! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Well f****** hell! I am in love, in love with this series. The only heartbreak I have is the book coming to a close. Each one of these characters is so life like, you live through each of their experiences. So well written, such a clear storyline, and absolutely compelling characters.
i absolutely loved this book!! but i need to know how the story continues and what's happening to Shannon!! I can't wait to read the next series in this universe
