i was excited to read this for uni, another poetry collection reading is something that always excites me! (even cooler that this was written by one of my tutors!) “The Cliff” was a poem that stuck out to me most in this and was definitely my favourite one. the repeating of phrases and the language felt like i was reading this directly from the author’s train of thought. And that poem wasn’t the only one to do this! the voice is extremely strong throughout the collection which is what stood out to me most!
