So. I’m not going to lie I was confused at some parts of this and I think it was how it was written. It sometimes sounded like they were talking in circles or riddles. I think Storm and Rome had good sexual chemistry but I don’t know if I felt love vibes from them. I’ll never yuck anyone’s yum when it comes to kink and bedroom play but I raised an eyebrow just a little bit at Rome’s kink. AND the scene with him, Stori and Storm was extremely weird. The plot twist was good and I wish there was a bit more done with it. Plus it felt like some parts of the story were a little rushed. Despite the criticisms it was still a decent read and I’m intrigued enough to continue with the other brothers’ stories when they’re released. Because I know Stori is next and I’m assuming Onyx and Ziggy will also get a book.

Definitely different
New to this series, so that may have contributed to the rating. Or sure I understood what I was getting myself into. What seemed like a game to play for Storm was very much real in Rome’s eyes. He was a bit older, stalkerish, and held hella secrets to boot! The killer backstory was nuts, and maybe talked about in a previous story but it felt a bit disjointed reading it from a new perspective with no background context. I thought the bedroom times would be blazing hot, and they were to an extent, but light considering the build up the author kept speaking of in terms of Rome’s kinks! What I did find weird af was the whole scene with Storm, Rome and his brother 🫣 otherwise, quite tame.

Rome and Storm earned a solid 3.5 stars from me. While I enjoyed the overall story, I couldn't help but feel that it was a bit rushed. There were moments and situations that left me craving more depth and detail. However, the plot twist completely caught me off guard—it was a jaw-dropper in the best way! Sherelle definitely upped the ante by introducing some fresh, unexpected kinks that brought a whole new level of spice to the narrative. These elements were definitely a highlight, taking the story to a more provocative place.

I enjoyed this one! I didn’t love it more than Ruined Vows, but I still liked it! I liked both main characters and enjoyed the twists and turns throughout the book. This book needed just a little bit more to get me to the 5 ⭐️ mark. Rome’s character development had so much opportunity. Considering this was a dual POV I would have loved to see more internal angst and possessive thoughts considering what his “kink” was. I honestly was confused about his kink because it was almost like it was a taboo topic, I don’t know if that was the author’s intent or not. Idk that part of the story line felt inconsistent and not complete. Perhaps we will get more details in Stori’s book. I’m still not sure what gets him going, but I’m looking forward to finding out 😜. I would recommend to read! Another great addition to the Maverick Dynasty series!

Rating 4.5 ⭐️COME HERE because this one grabbed me by the throat and said sit still and behave.... and I liked it 😏 Fractured Harmony is dark, chaotic and intoxicating in that way where you know you’re in dangerous hands and you stay anyway.
Storm Crowne lives up to her name. A category 5 hurricane. She’s reckless, mouthy, impulsive and allergic to authority. Rome Maverick is the complete opposite. He's controlled and disciplined. The brother who absorbs pressure so everyone else can breathe. He doesn’t cross lines. He doesn’t lose control. He's the man everyone wants in their orbit. What he absolutely did not plan on Storm being the one person who makes his restraint crack.
From the moment Rome becomes her bodyguard, this story turns into a battle of dominance, willpower and survival. Storm keeps pushing because chaos is her comfort. Rome keeps pulling because control is his religion. He knows what he's barely hiding under the surface. What starts as protection quickly morphs into possession and the tension between them is thick enough to choke on. He warns her. Repeatedly. She ignores every single one. Her desire for him overpowered her ability to think clearly. When Rome finally takes the reins Storm learns that wanting him comes with consequences. She fckd around and found out!!
This book delivers exactly what it promises: dark mafia bodyguard energy, an age gap that matters, morally gray obsession and secrets that hit like body blows. Rome is not a soft protector. He is calculating, quietly ruthless and terrifyingly thorough. The way he moves in silence, cleaning up threats Storm never even sees, is equal parts alarming and effective. Stalker tendencies AbsoFCKNlutely. Devotion disguised as control also yes. Somehow, disturbingly, it works for them. Why is this man intriguing??!!!! We should run like really run.
Storm isn’t a victim though. She’s fire. She challenges him, tests him and forces him to confront parts of himself he keeps buried under duty and loyalty. She constantly pushes him to let go and stop holding back. She wants to see what he's capable of. Their dynamic is messy, intense, and unapologetically kink forward in a way that will not be for everyone. This is very much a read the content warnings and know yourself situation. I had to google some stuff cause 👀👀👀
The twists are wild. The chemistry is volatile. The Maverick men continue to prove they are built differently and Rome earns his place among them. He’s the kind of man who will ruin you quietly and protect you violently, all while convincing himself he’s doing the right thing. Stori Sir... it's always the quiet ones.

Honey Crowne’s sister Storm is a teacher at Shadow Crown Academy. She has recurring nightmares. Based on a situation that occurred, Duchess and Stan want her to have protection. Rome Maverick is his twin brother’s (Pope) right had man. Everyone sees Rome as the best friend, the protector and the executioner. I was also surprised by his sense of humor. Against his better judgment, Rome is assigned to protect Storm.
Rome liked Storm more than he should and that didn’t work when he needed to focus on protection. There is an age difference and for years Storm has had a huge crush on Rome. She is attracted to his blend of boy next door and bad boy demeanor. They clash because as her bodyguard, Rome wants to control her. He takes his job very seriously as it could be a matter of life and death. The attraction is already there, but things start to shift once they are in proximity. Storm’s name perfectly describes how she disrupts Rome’s world. He was perfectly fine being attracted to her from afar and calls her hurricane. Seeing him when he is in protective mode is exhilarating for Storm. Rome proves that he would go to great lengths to do anything for her. I mean, Anything!
Rome and Storm both deal with sleep related issues and have vivid dreams about different situations. Rome has dark desires and once they connect physically, Rome introduces Storm to his fixation. There is a conversation between Rome and Pope that is written beautifully. Pope knows his twin and forces him to look introspectively. Rome hasn’t forgiven himself for things in the past and this built up to a surprising plot twist. I was shocked!
Fractured Harmony continues the gritty story of the maverick dynasty in parallel with the love story of Storm and Pope. Ms. Green continues to push the envelope in these stories. In addition to enjoying the overall story, I enjoyed getting updates about the Madden family. I highly recommend Fractured Harmony and look forward to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Rome and Storm were a perfect match. I enjoyed their push and pull beginning and them getting to know each other on a deeper level. It was good to see Rome become so enamored with Storm that he allowed himself to be vulnerable and allowed her to see and experience all the hidden parts of him. Both characters were well rounded and deeply layered and I loved witnessing all of their layers. I’m looking forward to what comes next with this series. The Mavericks are quickly becoming a favorite of mine just like the Maddens and the Crowns.

I Loved This Book
Rome and Storm was an excellent match. This book kept me on my toes from the very beginning. The personal battles between the two were challenging. This story had me laughing, especially when the families got together and the two small children had poop all over Rome. This was hilarious 😂. The inner love and bond between them had me dreamy eyed. This book was the best of three so far. I highly recommend reading this book, and the complete series. Sherelle Green did not disappoint on this well written book!

WOW! WOW! WOW!!
Storm and Rome were so perfect for each other!! Their ability to see through each others upbeat personalities was amazing. Storm was such a defiant brat and Rome loved it so much!! Rome was all about control and Storm loved it just as much as she hated it!! Lil plot twist toward the end had me yelling at my kindle because WHAT!?!?!! But they worked together and figured that out. And Stori…what was that!?! I loved that lil session. Lol i can’t wait for book 3!!!

That describes this author and the H and h. Never gonna be into dark romance however, this author changed my mind and open my eyes. I loved the Maddens but I was unsure about the Crowne’s world. I could never live in that world where someone is always out to kill you. How close to good and evil do you want to be? Yet, I loved Storm and ggrew to love Rome. Does everyone’s darkness run so deep?

Storm and Rome's story brought on some kinks I never knew existed and slightly still confused about. The plot twost was definitely jaw-dropping. I didn't enjoy this one as musch as Honey & Pope's story to me but another good addition to the Maverick Dynasty. I love how she keeps giving us glimpses of the Madden family.

Love makes you do some crazy things!
Storm and Rome had that vibe from the start thru the end of this story. I loved how they were able to untangle the complexities of each other's life while exploring their love connection. They challenged and pushed buttons on each other until they broke the dam.

Great read, I liked the characters and story. Storm and Rome’s love story is dark and twisted. Their journey to love is an erotic kinky adventure, full of intriguing secrets and plots. It was great getting to know the Maverick brothers and catching up on Pope and Honey’s married life.

I can always count on this author to introduce me to another ki k I had not considered before. I loved the development of Rome and Storm story. The anticipation was about to take me out. My only wish was to see them navigate the revelations more in the end.

New Kink Unlocked
Now I don’t knock people’s kinks but Rome’s definitely needed a special person to handle that and his hurricane was ready for the job. Now the twist with Torrin I didn’t expect but it added to the overall dark and twisted feel of the story. Overall great read
