I’m forced to marry a monster in my sister’s stead… I grew up unloved and neglected by my family. I never placed any significance on my existence. Until a proposal is set in place. A marriage between the capo dei capi of the De Luca Famiglia and a Lombardi daughter. Only my sister doesn’t want to marry the monster of Las Vegas. So I become the sacrificial lamb.
Massimo De Luca. A man everyone dubs Lo Spietato. A Ruthless God who rules the west with an iron fist. And my husband.
My husband is an enigma. A beautifully scarred, contradicting enigma. This marriage is supposed to be nothing more than a business arrangement between two families. Yet, when he touches me… it doesn’t feel like a business arrangement. And he looks at me with dark hunger in his eyes… I want to surrender myself to him.
I want him. In every inconceivable way possible. More than that, I want to be his.
***Ruthless God is a standalone novel in the Godless Reign series. It is a dark arranged marriage romance. It depicts violence and dark themes, and is intended for mature audiences only. Reader discretion is advised.
V.T. Do is the author of angsty contemporary romance books. She currently lives in Colorado. When she's not spending time working on her upcoming books, you can find her talking to herself, arguing with imaginary characters (hence the talking to herself part), daydreaming, hunting magical creatures, in search of her next caffeine fix, or reading obsessively over dirty-mouth, bad boys from steamy, smutty romance books.

It was a good start to the series, but I didn't vibe with Luna. 😕 She kept letting others walk all over her and treat her like crap. I would have loved it more if Luna had a backbone.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I can’t remember if I had ever met before a heroine so weak, timid and timorous. While I liked the hero, the heroine ruined the story for me. I kept reading, expecting her to become even a little stronger or braver, but it never happened.
One small example: Massimo thought to show Luna a few self-defence techniques, with the assistance of his brothers. When one of his brothers came at her in the ring, she ran over to Massimo and hid behind him. 🤦🏻♀️
My Review: OMG, I loved this book! This is exactly what a mafia romance should be—an innocent, sweet FMC, an unhinged mafia boss, and tons of spice.❤️
I know some people aren’t fans of shy, sweet heroines, but not me! 🙌 I love my innocent FMCs, and Luna was perfect—my sweet, sweet girl. Meanwhile, Massimo? Whew. He was everything you want in a mafia boss—dangerous, terrifying to everyone else, but a total golden retriever for Luna. Their dynamic was so beautiful, and the story had it all—plot, action, romance, and just the right amount of obsession.
This is one of those series where I wish all the books were already out so I could binge it in one sitting! I can't wait for the rest of the DeLuca stories! 🖤
Genre/Trope: Mafia, Arranged Marriage Romance Book Type: Standalone Book Length: Novel POV: Alternating Dual Setting: Mostly Las Vegas Male MC: Massimo De Luca is the Mafia King of Las Vegas and the eldest of several siblings. He is feared for his ruthlessness and his beastly scars and behaviors. Massimo is 33 and has dark hair, green eyes and several scars on his face and body. Female MC: Luna Lombardi is the sheltered and unloved stepdaughter of the head of the Chicago Mafia. Her stepfather is cruel and her mother and sister are unkind to her as well. Luna is 23 and has long black hair and gray eyes. Endearment: Baby and Principessa Spice Level: Medium Frequency of Spice: Low/Medium Angst Level: Low Cliffhanger: No My Review: This was a decent story but not my favorite from the author so far. The FMC is very shy, nervous and incredibly skittish, and she doesn’t ever really progress from that. I understand her background was traumatizing and I don’t mind a submissive FMC, however, Luna was a bit too much for me. I would be curious to read upcoming books in this series of the remaining De Luca siblings though. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
If you want a strong FMC…this ain’t the book for you. She is the definition of meek. I like shy innocent FMCs but even she annoyed me a little.
POV: Dual, 1st person. SERIES or STANDALONE: 1st in series, can be read as a standalone. TROPES: M/F adult, age gap, mafia, arranged marriage romance. SIZE: 336 (last page) Kindle pages. CHARACTERS: Massimo (33) & Luna (23)
Luna (23) was chosen by her father to marry Massimo after her younger sister Lina (19) refused to do it because he has a ruthless reputation. Lina is an evil bitch and was actually hoping Massimo would be as bad as or worse than the rumours and would treat Luna terribly. Unfortunately for Lina but good for Luna, Massimo was instantly obsessed with her and was soft for her and her only. He was so patient and loving with her. Luna was very sheltered for being 23, never even been kissed. She’d been an outcast in her own family her whole life, her dad died when she was really young so her mom remarried his brother and they went onto have Lina together. So Luna was always treated less than and she was so timid and afraid of everything. Massimo was the oldest and had 3 younger brothers and a youngest sister, his father ran the De Luca family in Vegas before him but was killed by Massimo and he’s been ruling Vegas for 8 years now. The arranged marriage was suggested by his uncle for an alliance with Chicago and the H went along with it because he knew his uncle was planning something. So his uncle was hoping that Massimos marriage to Luna would distract him so that him and Lunas dad could secretly align with the Russians in New York.
Idk I’m not explaining this very well but it was barely a 3⭐️ read for me so this’ll have to do.
-Dual PoV -h23, H33 -Mafia arranged marriage -virgin h, manwhore H- he said he mostly fucked the whores at one of his clubs before he was married 🤢 no timeline given on when that last was or anything. And he had fucked a maid that worked for him just once previously I think. -OWD- the maid and her mother worked for Massimo and they were both really cold and rude to Luna. Luna overheard them talking about how the maid had slept with Massimo but he still treated her the same as before and her mother was encouraging her to keep trying to get his attention. Luna let them treat her like shit, it wasn’t until Massimo overheard them snapping at Luna about making a mess in her own kitchen that he fired them both and they were never seen again. Of course hostesses and waitresses etc are always eyeing up Massimo but he’s completely devoted to and faithful to Luna. Lunas sister Lina tried to come onto Massimo because she was jealous and couldn’t believe anyone would choose Luna over her, he shut her down hard and then they kicked her out. -OMD- the H’s cousin was a traitor and tried to sexually assault Luna but the H stopped him in time. -No third act breakup -HFN it ends with the couple in love but the storyline about the war with the bratva and everything wasn’t resolved. -Epilogue 10 years later, still happily married and obsessed with each other with 2 sons, 6 and 8 year olds. It’s said the war with the Bratva is ongoing.

Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ read by author V.T DO. I love how her characters just pull you into the book and you are trying to figure out what is going to happen next.
Luna Lombardi is set out to marry the head of Las Vegas Massimo De Luca. Luna comes from a home where her step father Andre mentally abused her while her half sister Lina and mother do nothing to stop it. Lina is TERRIBLE, she is like the evil step sisters you see in Disney movies. I was sooo proud of Luna when she stood up to her! Massimo De Luca is dangerous, unhinged, protective, strong, and will do anything for his wife and family. Luna and Massimo relationship started off as arranged but they end up falling in love with each other. The spice is 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️. I am hoping to get a book about Matteo De Luca because he was not afraid to push Massimo’s buttons when it came to Luna.
Favorite quotes:
“God?” he asked, sounding amused. “He’s not in this room with us. It’s Massimo. Say my name, Luna.”
“Still. I don’t want other men to touch what’s mine, and you, little darling wife, are mine in every irrevocable way possible.”
“Luna wasn’t my weakness. She was my strength. She gave me the motivation, the energy to take on the biggest monsters out there. She made me want to be the biggest, most terrifying monster in the world just so I could protect her from it all”.
Thank you to the author for allowing me to be apart of her ARC team!! I loved this book and can’t wait to see what book is next in this series.
I couldn’t put this down and I’m sad it’s over!! Definitely not for anyone that can’t stand a kind of a meek fmc who gets walked all over (by everyone but the H) but I just loved the way he took care of her. He was nearly always in tune with her emotions. I wish when she finally “stood up for herself” to her mom or step sister that it would have been more volatile 😒
A little OWD-house keeper and her daughter (the only part of this book that bothered me was that he had previously slept with the daughter) pushing the h around until the H overhears and fires them.
This is the first mafia book I've read, and it won't be the last.
I really enjoyed this book, the writing was great and the story flowed nicely.
FMC was meek and traumatised , so if you are looking for a strong and bold MC she ain't it although she is lovable and you are rooting for a HEA for her.
Loved the dynamics between the De Luca siblings, Matteo in particular, and will definitely be picking up the next books to read their stories.
Every girl needs a Massimo, just the right amount of psycho & teddy bear rolled into one. Had me grinning and kicking my feet.
First book by this author and I would say it’s a classic, solid mafia romance with everything you might expect:
✅arranged marriage ✅V heroine ✅dark OTT hero ✅shy heroine ✅nasty family / sister drama ❌no cheating but small OW drama see below ⬇️ ❌no third part break up thank you very much ❌no spanking thank you very much
I love a good sister swap especially when the other sister is mean… (never said I was normal)
Things that annoyed me: The Italian names!! Elio, Emilio, Marco, Massimo, Matteo… even the driver is Nico!! The sisters are Lina and Luna!! I need a better separation btw the good guys and the bag guys!!
I kind of liked Luna. Yes, she is a shy heroine but blossom throughout the book.
Massimo, our nap fetish, had the emotional QI of a cucumber : When he met your wife and said “you’ll do” it didn’t scream possessiveness to me -> it does redeem himself later of course! Small OW drama: before the wedding and before meeting Luna, he f*** the maid.. and she was still around when Luna arrived to live with him 🙄 He also went to work in a strip club where there were also the girls he used to f*** 🙄. Of course he didn’t bother with them but still it didn’t seem very respectful towards Luna. When Luna is SA, Massimo is like “it didn’t look like we had gotten here too late” -> ok he did beat the hell out of the guy afterwards, but still dude! The first person he told he loved Luna… was not Luna herself but the (mean) sister 🙄
Light sub/Dom dynamic Will read the following books.
This was a great start to a great series I can’t wait to see who the other guys get paired up with! If you’re looking for a book with a super amazingly strong fmc this is not for you the fmc in this book is so beaten down by everything she’s very passive. She doesn’t stand up for herself at all she doesn’t know how or that she even should.. I loved the book it was so different from everything else and I can’t wait to read more!.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Luna is sweet she made me want to reach through giving her a huge hug telling her it would work out her family wasn’t the best mentally abused by her stepfather while her mother, evil stepsister did nothing to help her and when she is arranged to marry one of the most feared men. Massimo sexy as all get out DeLuca with a reputation proceeding him of being one of the most feared men, one you do not cross or want on your radar, he is brutal when needed, dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, protective of those he cares about, and will do what needs to be to keep them safe that includes his wife especially from the family that claim to love her. Neither of them expected the magnetic pull considering it was an arranged marriage, but they couldn’t ignore it so falling for one another wasn’t an option. Massimo realized she wasn’t his weakness like taught but his strength being with her brought out the monster, but will it get his enemies away, will it heal old wounds, will he avenge her, and can they find happiness somewhere along the way?
She has always been a pawn in her family, so it is no surprise when she is told that she is be arranged in marriage to a rival mafia family to solidify alliance. She has heard of his reputation as ruthless. She doesn't know what it means for her, but she doesn't think it can be worse than living with her family. He is suspicious of the proposed alliance, but thinks to entertain the proposal to see how it plays out. However when he sees her, her innocence and vulnerability, he changes his mind and decides he is taking her. He hadn't really considered taking a wife, but after meeting her, he decides the idea has new appeal. The character development is excellent, not only for the mains, you have a strong sense of each of them and who they are. He is the strong leader of his family, leading his siblings and their mafia family. He is known to be ruthless and bears scars as a testament to his tenacity. He is strong and fierce and leads by example, but has been missing the softness in his life. He finds that in her. She is the expendable child, not the favorite. She has learned to follow the rules and be quiet, never making waves. In him she finds the freedom to be fierce, to love and be loved. The author does a great job building their relationship. As things come up that could cause them strife, instead they are used as building blocks to strengthen their communication and relationship. There is no one getting between them. This is a great hook for this story, as you don't don't have to weather the trite "misunderstanding trope" but instead you watch them become more. More passionate, more connected, and more of a force. They have hot chemistry from the beginning and he introduces her to everything, she is his willing student. His introduction of his desire for control was panty melting. If I had a critique of the story, I would say that arc was not fully played out to it's potential. Even if it was not the focus, I would have liked to see more as the story continued to solidify the dynamic. It felt like it was introduced, entertained briefly and then set aside for other story points, but I think it could have continued to be woven in. This was the best mafia romance I have read in awhile. The mafia family drama was well played out and felt relevant to the story. They also get their happily ever after in the epilogue which gives you all the feels.

Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book, because someone out there thought, "Yes, let’s let this person read it early, surely nothing terrible could happen!"
Ruthless God by V.T. Do is an arranged marriage, mafia dark romance. My usual M.O. is pitch black/stalker/serial killer/WTF did I just read dark romance, so I took a step outside of my usual order and tried something different on the menu.
The story follows Luna, our FMC, who is forced into an arranged marriage with Massimo, a mafia boss with a monstrous reputation. As the book progresses, what begins as a business arrangement soon evolves into something much deeper. Together, they navigate the dangers of the dark mafia world, their own personal growth, and the evolving dynamics of their relationship.
I would describe Ruthless God as a comfort read. It provides just the right balance of tension and dark romance, and while I personally prefer darker, more intense books that might make my therapist question my sanity, this one still hit the mark. On my definitely original and patent-pending spice scale, I’d rate it a solid 3 out of 5.
One of my biggest pet peeves in reading is when authors use a writing style that doesn’t reflect how people actually think or speak. V.T. Do did an excellent job here—she draws you into the characters effortlessly, with no unnecessary filler or overly drawn-out scenes. The pacing is perfect, and she manages to convey character traits, dynamics, and mannerisms efficiently without wasting entire chapters. I often struggle to remember characters in books with large casts, but V.T. Do made it easy and enjoyable. By the halfway point, I was already excited to see the other De Luca brothers get their own books.
The plot is straightforward but still engaging, with enough complexity to keep you hooked. While it's a milder plot compared to some darker books I've read, it still satisfies. Massimo truly lives up to his ruthless reputation, yet he’s patient with his wife’s more naive view of their life. He helps her grow personally while they explore the more “spicy” aspects of their relationship.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read, and I’m looking forward to future releases in the series. If someone is new to dark romance, this would be a great book to recommend as an entry point into the genre.
I'm always leery of a new author. I don't easily give out fours let alone a five and on an extreme rare read will I stay up to read a book in one sitting. I don't know why but decided to take a chance on this one. The characters are multi-dimensional, including the important secondary characters. Luna isn't a strong in your face character at first, but the reader can sense there's steel in her. She's gone through a lot and has to feel safe before she starts coming into her own. By the end, you can sense she's grown into the strong person she needed to be but retains her soft side needed to bring out the loving, soft, protective family man her husband became. She's who he needed. The arc does a good job showing that. The business side was good. Massimo is all business and went into the arranged marriage in that frame of mind. Little did he know his wife would bring out a different side of him. Their love can be summed up in what Massimo told Lina - "Luna was always mine. Had you remained the one promised when I arrived & met Luna, I would have demanded the change." (Paraphrasing).
While we only got to know Matteo more than the other brothers, because he was a bit more personable and open, hopefully the author lets us in on their lives & the arcs are just as good. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Our h is arranged to marry the head of Las Vegas Massimo our H.
Luna is soft and gentle and tries to make everyone happy even if they treat her terribly which they do. I for one love a gentle FMC, it’s so underrated, the story doesn’t need to be a fight every single time and a gentle h really does it for me.
This one just had the right recipe for me because I love me some OW drama and especially OW drama from a half sister was the tea ! She was disturbed and horrible and I was here for it. I loved that the H always had eyes and wanted the h from the start there absolutely no attraction to the sister, though in her delusional head he wanted her which he did not and made it clear.
My favourite scene is when the OW see them (iykyk) and yet she still thought she could entice him away, and when Luna stood up for herself and her marriage, I was so happy she became strong with Massimo, falling in love was so beautiful. The side characters were great and hopefully we get there stories soon

Beauty & the Beast retelling mafia style. The Beast of Las Vagas and silent Beauty of Chicago have arrange marriage. Her little sis Lina was suppose to marry Massimo but she didn't want to matter a hideous Beast. So her step sister became the bride and this was Luna's chance to escape her silent prison...no spoilers
“I can’t promise that we’ll have peace. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but I can promise you that I will always try my damndest to come back home to you.”
We see Massimo & Luna fall in love and it's beautiful & healing. Massimo learns there more to life than his siblings. Luna becomes more brave and Massimo was the fire that started it all. We see that at the very first family meal and just shows how observant De Luca family are when it's comes to their surroundings in the mafia world
We got to see karma at action but have they truely learned and will they return?
"Down to his left ribs, in cursive black script, were the words La morte mi trovera vivo. Death will find me alive."
Action, suspense, In laws family drama, rivals over territory, tense love story and get ready to love the De Luca family with their banter & winding eaxh other up😅
This was my first read of V.T. Do and I'll certainly be reading a few more books. I really liked Massimo as a mmc and he's just how I like them, strong, ruthless, sexy and will do anything for his woman. Luna was sweet but I really wanted her to grow a backbone a lot earlier on in the book than she did. There certainly was character growth throughout the book and I'm glad that by the time the end came along, she was a little tougher than she had been at the start. As if you'd let an employee regardless of their position walk all over you the way that the maid and cook did. That storyline could've been executed better than it did, and I wanted her to stand up for herself when it came to those two. Then came the part with Lina, I understand that Luna was being nice, but enough is enough and I'm glad she finally booted her sister out, even though it took what happened to do it.
Loved the dynamic between the De Luca siblings, and I'll definitely be reading the next books in this series when and if they're released.
Overall, a pretty good read. The book is written really well, and it only lost a star because I really wanted Luna to stand up for herself more.

"Ruthless God" by V.T. Do is a steamy mafia romance novel that kicks off the enthralling "Godless Reign" series with an intriguing premise, albeit one that feels familiar within the genre.
Luna Lombardi, a timid and reluctant bride, finds herself forcibly married to the fearsome Massimo De Luca, known as "Lo Spietato" or "The Ruthless." Massimo cuts an imposing figure, his face marred by scars from a brutal torture at the hands of the Bratva when he was just 16 years old.
As various criminal factions vie for power and dominance, Luna and Massimo's relationship unfolds against a gritty backdrop of danger, violence, and the unforgiving underworld.
While the core story is engaging, the novel could have benefited from a more assertive and dynamic portrayal of Luna to better match Massimo's intensity and create a more captivating power dynamic between the newlyweds.
Nevertheless, "Ruthless God" serves as a solid introduction to the series, setting the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating exploration of love, loyalty, and the lengths one must go to survive in a world where ruthlessness reigns supreme.
Ruthless God is quite suspenseful and a page turning mafia romance. I thought this story to be captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an enjoyable read. While reading this novel, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. I absolutely did NOT want to set my phone down until I read the last page. Ruthless God is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by V.T. Do. This is the first story that I have read by this author and I was blown away by the storyline. I’m definitely going to checkout more of this author’s work in the future. Ruthless God follows the journey of Massimo and Luna. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both of these characters as well as witnessing their story unfolding throughout the book. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Massimo and Luna is outstandingly breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. I would certainly recommend Ruthless God for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

Luna's sister was supposed to be married off to Massimo but I'm the end they decided to give him Luna.
I loved Massimo, although he was the head of the family and feared by all, he was sweet and respectful of Luna. He was still an OTT possessive, dominant alpha but he treasured and protected her. Luna was innocent and tried to remain in the background because of the way she was brought up.
There was a lot that went on in the book but it was done in a way that flowed and I didn't get confused with any of it. I really loved the brothers, their banter and how close they were. I also liked the sister and how she welcomed Luna into the family.
The spice between these two was amazing. He made sure she felt safe and wanted her first time. He could tell what she liked and made sure she knew how good things could be. There was instant chemistry, and I loved the way they were together.
I was sad when it ended, I wanted to keep reading!

𝑹𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒅 is the first book in the new mafia series by V.T. Do. Massimo the head of the De Luca family is set to marry as an arrangement to form a tentative truce between the two families.
I felt like it kinda had a Cinderella vibe with the unwanted step child for Luna with how her family treated her. She was reserved and naive in a lot of ways not what you would expect from a mafia princess. I really enjoyed Massimo and his siblings the relationship of the family dynamics and gives a brief introduction to his brothers and sisters. A marriage that was suppose to break Luna only made her stronger.
Overall story was well paced and I felt easy to read. Matteo one of the younger brothers was my favorite side character and I really want more of him. Looking forward to the next book in this series and would recommend to anyone who loves Mafia and age gap.
💛Arranged Marriage 🖤Mafia 💛Age Gap (33/23) 🖤Virg1n FMC
this was a new author for me and i really enjoyed it! hoping we get books for the rest of the De Luca family. my only real complaint is that Luna let everyone walk all over her. i get the whole “meek mafia princess” thing but she didn’t even have a semblance of a backbone until maybe 95%
Luna is being raised by her mom and uncle/stepdad (yeah her mom married her dad’s brother after he died) along with her younger stepsister, Lina who is a true spoiled brat. When it comes time for an arranged marriage between a Lombardi daughter and Massimo, the Capo Dei Capi of the De Luca family, Lina refuses bc of Massimo’s reputation leaving Luna to step in in her place.
Who would have thought being married the Massimo, Lo Spietato, would be the best thing to ever happen to Luna?
-mafia romance -arranged marriage -age gap -he falls first -OTT protective/possessive MMC -virgin FMC
It’s my first book from this author, but definitely not my last. I love a mafia book, which is a bit darker, but not triggering or disturbing. This book is full of tropes I love as innocent FMC, arranged marriage, changed bride, sweet, but only to her, but that alone doesn’t make a great book. You need a great author, who knows how to translate them in an amazing story, with believable characters in a beautiful setting. And that’s what you get with this story, I fell in love with the more naive and innocent Luna, who gots thrown in an unexpected marriage, originally arranged for her sister and Massimo, a darker, brooding character, but is sweet and patient with her.
I will definitely take a look at the other works and this is a definite favorite and reread.

I love a feisty FMC, but I also love me a softer, quieter FMC. With Luna we get the latter, but it totally works. Yes, she's skittish and scared, but who can blame her after the life she had. She eventually comes into her own and stands up for herself and what she wants. I do wish we got a little more of her home life before marrying Massimo because I wanted him to deal with the people that hurt her. He's impatient at times, but over all he's patient with her. I loved how steadfast he is in making sure she gets the respect she deserves as his wife.
I really wanted Luna to tell off Lina when the latter tried to hit on Massimo. While she did tell Massimo to kick her out of the house, I would have loved to see Luna tell her off and drag her out.
Looking forward to the series - hopefully all the De Luca siblings get their stories.
I really enjoyed this book. Reading a lot of mafia books this one was on the lighter side. Still a great read, as it had an intense action packed story that kept me hooked.
Luna the lead female character was very shy and had been domineered by her family. Meeting Massimo and his siblings gave her a backbone and a voice that was heard. Although she still stayed submissive she showed abit of courage and realised that she mattered.
Massimo was the head of the De Luca famiky was known for his brutality, but with Luna he leart more gentle, something he was learning to do for the first time.
A good mix of suspense, tension and romance. I look forward to reading more in the series that will also include Massimo and Luna.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Luna never had a good relationship with her family, her sister is about to enter an arranged marriage with Massimo De Luca also known as Lo Spietato. When her sister pitches a fit, all of the sudden she is about to married to Massimo.
Massimo is the head of the De Luca family when he heads to Chicago for a possible arranged marriage, Luna catches his eye not her spoiled younger sister.
I loved the characters in this book, there is more to Massimo than just a mafia king pin. He has a soft spot for his new wife, but she is nervous around making him suspect she was not treated well by her family.
Looking forward to the next in this series, hoping it is about one of Massimo's brothers. This a mafia romance with high heat, some might find it triggering due to the violence.

This book was an exciting wild roller-coaster ride off drama, suspense, action, angst and spice!!! I devoured this book in one day and was sad when I reached the end. I love books that I wish could just keep going. The storyline was pages-turning and original. The characters were complex and had an intense and a push and pull chemistry. This book is a dark mafia romance and touches on dark themes and topics. I loved the arranged marriage, possessive MMC and a FMC just waiting to grow into herself.
Massimo was the Beast of Las Vegas. He was ruthless, demanding and dark and broody. Luna was quiet, reserved and fierce. I enjoyed their journey in this book and loved how their romance grew and became an epic love story. I can’t wait to see what comes next with V.T Do!!!!

Ruthless God is book 1 in the new Godless Reign series and it's absolutely fantastic! It's the arranged marriage, age gap journey of Massimo, the Head of the DeLuca Family and Luna. My heart hurt for Luna! She was so mistreated by her family and so broken. Massimo is utter perfection! He's everything that Luna needs and more. Instead of doing what her family had hoped for he does the opposite. He cherishes her and makes her stronger and more confident than she ever thought she could be. He's possessive and obsessive and there's no help for anyone who tries to bring her harm. Their journey is intense, heartbreaking, sad at times and beautiful at others. It's dramatic, intriguing and full of action. I can't wait for the next book!
