An International Award Winning Christian Fiction Novel

The US is in shambles. Society has collapsed and people struggle to survive in small communities. The west is wild again, with scavengers and raiders willing to kill for any reason or no reason.

In the middle of a remote canyon out west, a woman lives on her own in an off-grid sanctuary her family had built years prior to the collapse. While the outside world struggles, her safe haven has helped her survive.

At least until now.

Things suddenly turn into chaos for her, and an encounter with a stranger turns her world upside down.

Can she make it through the latest trials? Will she trust God to show her the way? Is she meant to continue this life of survival ALONE?

This book was different than other books of faith I have read but not in a bad way. It was about hardships, trials, loneliness, and taking care of yourself on your own. She always had faith in God, trusted his plan, might not have understood why things happen to her the way they did. I loved the ending and the authors notes at the end.

Alone by Elizabeth Nader was an enjoyable read with relatable characters and a story that kept me engaged. One thing I appreciated was that it was a clean book with no spice or inappropriate scenes, making it an easy recommendation for readers who prefer wholesome fiction.

The characters felt realistic as they worked through their thoughts, emotions, and struggles. There is quite a bit of internal dialogue, with the characters often talking themselves through situations and processing what they’re feeling. While some readers may find this repetitive at times, it also helped me connect with them and understand their motivations on a deeper level.

Overall, Alone is a thoughtful, character-driven story with believable emotions and clean content. If you enjoy books that focus on personal growth, self-reflection, and relatable characters, this one is worth picking up.

Beautiful book! I can see why it won an award.
In the beginning, the main character is all alone, heartbreakingly so. She had a family once. What became of them is eventually revealed. But at first, we don’t even know her name, because no one uses it. And that’s just two of many mysteries to be discovered along the way. The off grid struggles in this book seem so realistic. The character’s struggle to understand God’s purpose for her life is very relatable. And her faith through every painful event is inspiring.
Filled with suspense, romance, faith, and triumph, this story captured my heart!
I highly recommend!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Honest Faith, Real Struggles, Beautiful Story

This is a Christian story with characters that feel real and relatable, not overly spiritualized. The author captures genuine emotions, everyday habits, and the kind of struggles many of us face—especially during a season that feels a lot like the story of Job.
I truly loved the storyline. I laughed with the characters, cried during their hardest moments, and felt connected to their journey. The emotions were raw and sincere, which made the story even more meaningful. I would definitely read more from this author.
