A why-choose, age-gap romance from USA Today Bestselling Author Layla Frost…
If three’s a crowd, then what’s four?
A happily ever after.
All my life, my parents bounced around hippie communes, dragging me along for the shroom-fueled ride. When they announced we were moving again, I expected more of the same—group cabins, rundown shacks, or flimsy yurts. But Eternal Sun was nothing like the other places. It was a dream come true.
Until that dream plummeted into a nightmare.
When the leader of the luxurious wellness center shared where I fit into his prophecy, I was forced to run away from everything I knew and loved—including my parents. I landed a coveted job at Black Resorts and got my first taste of a normal life.
It was also where I met Cole, Marco, and Freddy.
A hot tech nerd, a mountain of a bodyguard, and a cocky chef who was also my boss. Three very different men who made me feel an intense attraction I’d never experienced before.
But then Eternal Sun stole them from me, too.
Or so I thought.
Because when things went from bad to worse, they were back. Taking care of me. Hovering over me. Annoying the hell out of me.
I tried to keep my distance. When that didn’t work, I ignored them. They didn't let that happen, either. The longer I spent with the three possessive men, the harder it was to choose. But I had to….
Right?
Warning: CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE. This MMFM Daddy kink romance is the FINAL book in the Black Resorts series. It features the adult language, situations, and violence you’ve come to know and love. The men might be willing to share with each other, but we all know what happens when someone else touches what’s theirs… Hot + Possessive x 3= one BIG happily ever after. Check the author’s site for a full list of tropes and CW.
Growing up, Layla Frost used to hide under her blanket with a flashlight to read the Sweet Valley High books she pilfered from her older sister. It wasn’t long before she was reading hidden Harlequins during class at school. This snowballed into pulling all-nighters after the promise of “just one more chapter”.
Her love of reading, especially the romance genre, took root early and has grown immeasurably until it was time to write her own stories.
When she's not writing, Layla Frost is an insomniac with a deep love of iced coffee, tchotchkes, plants, and her hens. She's also the world's okayest mom, but her kids think she's cool... ish.
So this book was an EXTREME let down for me. From the execution of the story to the climax.. If one can even call it that.. I would give this one a solid 2.5 stars. This is ONLY because the one thing I was in-like with here, is Marco. But even he could not salvage this tale for me.
Walk with me a moment as I take you through it..
1. Where the hell was the plot? From the prologue to chap 3 we are led to believe that this final book in this trilogy is going to be on point. Is going to hit on every beat to the drum that was drawn for us in book 2 and book 2's epilogue regarding, Marco, Cole, Freddy, and Callie..
Instead all we got from chap 3 all the way up to the 65% mark, were slow, mundane and meaningless details. That I was right, most of those did not serve to help anything for the tail end of this book.
We got a few clues(3) that made no sense.. but the rest was just irritating filler. When things should have been used to establish actual connections with these characters, we were just given surface fluff with them all. Not just with the plot, but with their personalities as individuals and also with common sense, where Callie is concerned.
All of these people were just caricatures instead of 3-dimensional fleshed out people.
Now, I get Callie is only 19, but with her upbringing and what we were shown, in how she basically had to grow up pretty fast due to her parents and their lack of ability to not only be good parents, but to also keep her safe. The places she's grown up in etc., we are shown that this gave her a certain grit and maturity level that many her age would not have had otherwise. All of this seemed to vanish like vapor the second she began working at the Resort though.. So her personality and her choices in major situations did not line up with who, at the beginning, we are told/shown that she is..
2. Cole and Freddy.. WTAF was that? That came out of left field so fast it was not even funny. Yeah there was a very teeny tiny clue of assumption given in a brief scene in book two, but that was hardly conclusive given these men and their personalities. And Freddy? Dude had a completely different personality from what we were given in books 1 and 2. So much so that he quickly lost his shine for me. Hence why Marco ended up stealing the show for my affections and kept it.
Also, the Cole and Freddy flavors together, just came off as flavorful as wet cardboard to me.
3. The whole mystery and plot of Eternal Sun= A big fat slimy turd that you can't flush. This was SO anticlimactic I could not even believe what was put on these pages. But because of what we were left with, it certainly explained why there wasn't much mystery factor given throughout the whole of this book before the big reveal..
The Mystery that we were promised from the brief set up in book 2 and the very beginning of this final book, that was not delivered AT. ALL BTW. The way this was written, it was too much time wasted on things that did not matter and held no merit for what was to come. I honestly believe that this whole story should have been thrown out and taken back to the drawing board before being released.
Also, that whole Bonus Epilogue we get after the book epilogue ends, really should have been incorporated into the story itself.. Pointless..
So, I hope that our walk didn't depress you too much, but I had to be honest here.
I cannot recommend this read. Especially to those who were going off of how great book one is and how intriguing some of book two is. You are going to be so upset and disappointed to know that THIS is where you're gonna land for your final conclusion.
BUT I will always recommend Book One: (Little Dove) It's currently free on Amazon right now 3/16/2025- for the next 3 days, so get it!
My tagged shelves can be spoilers. Tropes at end of review.
The last book of the Black Resorts series!!!!! I'm so sad it's ended 😭 but also so incredibly happy with this book🥹. I think all of us original fans of "Little Dove" basically bullying (very affectionately 😘) Layla to give us a book for Ash after LD release was the best thing us readers have ever done! Unlike the first two in this standalone series, "Little Goddess" is a why choose (mmfm) romance! Just like the first two in this series, we get the delicious age gap & daddy kink dynamics!!
My favorite things:
1. Callie! Girly was such a fun fmc! I loved how she was innocent and a little naïve but strong & independent. & her bratty side with the guys was funny! Her hardworking personality and sweet nature had me loving her from page one (I also had sad puppy dog eyes by like page 10 so thank you so much for that Layla😤!!! The bees!!!!!!!😭😭🥺🥺) Much like with the first two books, Callie was unsure what the daddy k*nk/lifestyle was about and just like before, I liked how Layla had her research it and explore her likes/dislikes with the guys. Callie going from "omg I don't want to choose this is horrible" to "omg thank god they are making all the decisions" was funny and endearing to me.
2. THE GUYS! (in no particular order) Starting with Freddy — I love how his humor and playful side was on full display in this book since we got little pieces of it in the first two. He's sweet, protective, and just a lovable, tattooed, sexy af chef w/ a hot af accent! Next, Cole — our shy hacker with a tortured past. Loved him! The way he opened up once getting closer to Callie was heartwarming and his natural daddy side & possessiveness was H-O-T. Last but certainly not least, Marco — the silent, serious, bodyguard I fell in love with during book #1 when he was Juliet's main "goon". The way he kept shocking everyone when he'd talk and laugh with Callie because he's usually so stoic and silent made me melt - I adore a serious mmc that goes soft only for his girl!
3. The mm dynamic — just H-O-T HOT! Cole and Freddie’s bisexual panic and high sexual tension was like an electric charge! I really liked how Layla didn't have them already together before Callie was introduced and we got to really see their longtime friendship grow into a romantic/sexual one. Also loved have Marco didn’t have a big reaction to it, was just like “cool, now let’s get our girl”.
4. Little moments (but w/o context to avoid spoilers) — Freddy x Juliet mix-up, the little bits of my fav girl Juliet, bratty Callie trying to give the guys the silent treatment, three big muscled, tattooed, guys falling over each other for the girl like they're lovesick teenagers, the AMAZING adhd rep w/ Callie.
Overall — I need everyone to read this series if you love age gap, daddy kink, & morally gray, sexy af alpha heroes, because it's the best ever and I'll never shut up about it!🥹🥹🥰🥰
Thank you to Layla Frost for the e-ARC of this book. Review is my own honest opinion.
Tropes/CW: *age gap *daddy kink *why choose (mmfm) *slow-ish burn *alpha heroes *mafia light *morally gray *vegas *workplace romance *forced proximity *super protective & possessive mmc's *they fall first and oh so hard *bi-awakening *fmc gets hurt *past w/ a cult *family abandonment *on page violence by mmc’s
4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this one. I’m always partial to why choose books over mf. I do think some things could’ve been improved if a couple different choices were made. Mostly the all or nothing rule they had about sex…I get the point and thought behind it, but I feel like it was mostly just a hindrance to their relationship than anything else. And I would’ve liked a little more relationship development honestly. Not that what we got wasn’t good, but it just wasn’t really enough to make it great for me personally. I still think the book was worth the wait and definitely really good, those would just be my personal improvements.🤷🏻♀️
I'm such a sucker for happily ever after! I love that now everyone in the Black Resorts world has found theirs.
This is a Why Choose love story but I must admit, Marco had me with his quiet, but dominant personality. But then Freddy was super charming...so there's that. And well, Cole's stalking tendencies were hot... Okay, I loved them all!
3.5 ⭐️ It's a goodbye to this world and it was fun!
Cole, Marco, and Freddy we met them in this world, and they found their woman. Sweet Callie, who escaped a cult. She's trying her hardest to survive in vegas. Things were looking good until her past connected to Marco/Cole/Freddy, and their sweet looks and flirting turned cold. At that point, I wanted Callie to up and leave for how they treated her. It wasn't mean, but it wasn't nice until something horrible happened to Callie that had them changing their tune. Honest Callie should've ignored them a little more and ice them out. But she did run back home when she left the hospital. Didn't take long for them to take her and hold her "hostage" to take care of her. This is where the steam comes in because she wants all and they want her. It's also letting Cole and Freddy connect because they had some sexual tension before Callie came. Just never went for it.
When all things are said and done, Callie has 2 Daddys, Marco and Cole, and Freddy he doesn't really care for the daddy kink. Cole and Freddy also take that plunge. I kinda wish Layla made all 3 men want each other. Marco was chill with the guys loving each other, but I wish he was a part of it too. He was more focused on Callie.
So few times, he would watch from the side when Callie/Freddy and Cole did group scenes. Until he finally did stuff, but it felt off for me. I loved that I had a rule they all had to be there when spicy times happened.

sooo much telling, not nearly enough showing. the heroine's thoughts go "[marco] seemed to find everything about me cute". okay? how does she know? in what circumstances has she noticed it? do we get any information at all?
at the 40% mark we'd still gotten to see basically ZERO conversations between the h and Hs. we hear about how one of the heroes and the heroine chatted in the mornings, but we don't see it. the h is halfway in love with them all, but ive seen nothing that would warrant that, because i haven't heard them talk to each other??
the first time the heroine spends any real amount of time with the heroes is when she's staying in the hospital after being attacked. at 44% we get a summary of some of her interactions with the heroes during the stay, and how the heroes treated her. i repeat, the FIRST TIME the heroine actually spends time with the heroes, we don't even get to read the interactions first-hand, we're told after the fact!!!!
i wonder why so many reviewers don't seem to notice or care that so much of the relationship development happens in summaries. i bet they'd notice if the sex scenes were reduced to "we had sex all night and it was awesome" 😂
also, at ~30-35% the heroes freeze out the heroine, completely ignoring her existence, and they never grovel afterwards. why even have a plot point about the heroes screwing up if you're not gonna make them apologize?
im incredibly disappointed with this book.

I’m really emotional saying goodbye to this series, Little Dove is a top romance book of all time for me and I have loved her follow up to each book. I especially love that she’s explored different tropes within each book kept the same daddy vibes. I don’t normally read RH or why choose but Layla may be the only author who could convince me and I loved it. If you’re interested in love age gaps and daddy k!nk without he age play (HUGE DIFFERENCE HERE BY THE WAY) give this series a try!!
There is a reason Layla is a one-click pre-order author for me, and this book was further proof of that decision.
She did something outside of her norm by giving us a why choose romance WITH MM tossed in...and she did it in a hugely popular series that is known for its dark grey-area living MMCs, but she pulled it off in spades....while keeping the humor, balance of dark/steamy, and writing style I've come to love and expect from her.
I loved that she put a "steamy time" rule into their dynamic that you don't see in multi-partner romances often - it helped keep the focus on Callie and them as a group, but still gave us other intimate moments to show the bond building between Cole & Freddy too.
Layla manages to do something with her FMCs that I personally find to be unique and something I look forward to in her books: they have an innocence to them while also being a bit bratty and stubborn, it makes for a fun leading lady, and Callie held her own with the guys and within the series (she matches energy with Juliet and Mila SO well)
The couples from the previous books are blended into the book so well, making it truly feel like the Black Reorts series is a world we are living in.
I was shocked the twists and turns in a part of the over-arching storyline only because I can almost always guess in advance what the plot twist is - didn't see this one coming!
Something maybe not PC to say but I'm gonna: I loved that nobody in this grey-living world (i.e. Maximo, Ash, etc.) made mention or batted an eye at the change in dynamic between Cole & Freddy. It didn't change the respect level, it didn't change their job status, etc. In a this type of "bad guy" world I loved that.
While I'm obviously sad to see the series end, I already reread and listen to the previous books often, that I know Little Goddess will be right there in rotation.
literally so sad that didn’t enjoy this book :((( this felt like it should’ve been in a completely different series, it was so disconnected for the rest of the books, i’ll stick to my rereads of little dove😭
also everything felt so forced??? this book didn’t mesh or flow at all
I waited a bit to write this review because I was super emotional after finishing this book - ask Layla, I had a bit of a crashout in her DMs lol. I've loved this world since before we'd knew it would be a series, since before I had a bookstagram and met others who loved the world as much as I do.
Little Goddess is one of my most anticipated releases of the year and I am grateful to be able to say I was chosen for an ARC. Thank you, Layla! Let me start by saying it did NOT disappoint. I'm not a Why Choose fan. I've read several and prior to this one, I liked maybe one. But this one? This one has entered the Books I Won't Shut Up About ranks and it isn't even released yet.
We start with Callie, who's grown up in different communes and cults her whole life. She has emotionally and (dare I say) mentally absent parents so she's had to take care of herself (and often them) her entire life. When she finally puts herself first, it's with the decision to escape the commune at 19. She luckily gets a job pretty quickly in a Black Resorts restaurant under the chef we all know (do we?) and love - Freddy!
Freddy is a funny man. He's instantly enamored by her the second she tells him his sauce needs work. He's patient and kind with her, all the while juggling having feelings he doesn't want to face for his best friend - and another of Maximo's men - Cole.
Cole can't stand being alone - and he's kinda alone a lot of the time, especially since he had to move out of Maximo's pool house now that he and Juliet are naked as often as possible. Mix that with the strange feelings he has for Freddy and the stranger attraction he feels for Freddy's new waitress and it's a clusterfuck - or so he assumes.
Lastly, Marco - who's protective of anyone and everyone he cares for, a 'mountain of a man' and an island in his own right. The moment Callie asks him for his order when he and Juliet go to the restaurant, he's smitten.
The three men decide they'll compete for Callie's affections and though you know going into a Why Choose how that typically works, it was so fun (and funny) to watch it happen. Once it happened though, let me be the first to tell you that you're going to need multiple bottles of water on standby. Maybe some Powerade. Liquid IV. Damn, maybe even an actual IV to replenish the fluids you'll lose because this group is HOT together!
Some quick things I loved: - The ADHD Rep and the journey Callie went through when receiving her diagnosis! So well handled and so relatable. - The Girl Gang! God, I loved every single second Juliet was on page and when Mila popped in too, ugh, I'm a little bit in love with her. (A lot a bit) I loved how they welcomed Callie into their ranks. - Cole & Freddy's relationship journey - Marco's cuck chair (a love/hate relationship sometimes)
Things I didn't see that I wish I did: - if ANYONE needed a collar it's Callie. Don't ask my reasoning, just vibez. - Freddy to call Cole 'daddy' just like... once. But I get why he didn't.
Cole the tech guy for Maximo Freddy the chef Marco the bodyguard
Calliope has lived a life in some type of commune her entire life because of her parents, never staying in one place too long. At 15 they move to the Eternal Sun compound, at 19 she's had enough and leaves for life outside the community. She's fortunate to land a job in one of the restaurants owned by Maximo. Calliope finds herself attracted to not one, but three men. When her connection to External Sun is exposed they all pull back, until Calliope is hurt and these 3 Alphas will stop at nothing to protect their woman.
******* No cheating Virgin h Non manwhore mcs No OW drama Slight OM drama, Calliope wasn't interested Age gap if I remember correctly it was 27 30 or 31 and 36 Calli was 19 Talk of cults Murder Daddy(yummy yummy yummy) Spanking MM MMFM RH
Whew boy the goddess irritated me endlessly, Daddy Marco was my favourite. I did like the h with Marco and felt like Freddy and Cole could've been a couple oh their own but that's just me. Cole and Freddy's relationship turning sexual without even a discussion felt a little off as well but all in all an enjoyable enough read.
I really wanted to like this book, and I do,just not as much as I thought I would.
While I like the idea of Cole and Freddy being a couple,I wish it had been at least hinted about in the previous books. It felt like it happened too fast in this book.
When Callie’s connection with Eternal Sun came out, they dropped her like a hot potato. Wouldn’t talk to her, turned Juliet against her, etc. Never gave her a chance to even defend herself.
When she got hurt, they came back and pretty much forced their way back into her life. No groveling. No real “I’m sorry”,nothing. She just let them move her into Marco’s house and suddenly they were all in a relationship together.
I wish the Eternal Sun had been more prominent in the story. Instead, it was thrown in near the end. I did like the twist at the end, but the whole Eternal Sun thing could have been removed and the only thing we would’ve lost is why they didn’t talk to her for a month.
There was no spice until about 50% through. Even then it didn’t seem like a natural flow to things. It felt like “50% in,time to add spice.”
I didn’t really feel a connection with any of the characters. They didn’t really feel connected to each other, either. There was no discussion about them sharing Callie. It went from “we’re agreed to see which one she picks” to “we’re agreed that we’ll all share her.Oh and Cole and Freddy are a couple now too.” Nothing was discussed and it just didn’t make sense.
Marco feels like an afterthought. During the sex scenes, it’s usually Cole, Freddy and Callie, and Marco is sitting watching. This book should either have been Marco and Callie or Cole,Freddy and Callie.
Is this a case of the author biting off more than she can chew by writing a Why Choose book, when she normally doesn’t? Maybe.
Overall: it was an ending to the Black Sands trilogy. Maybe if it had been longer, it could have been fleshed out more. I feel like we’re were told more things than shown and it didn’t always make sense. I really like this author, but every once in a while one of her books just doesn’t hit like the others do. This was one of those times.
I devoured this book bc I’ve been obsessed with Little Dove since I read it a couple years ago. It is my comfort book. And I was truly hoping this one would match the same energy of Little Dove or maybe even beat that one out as one of my favorites.
Unfortunately it did not. I needed a lot more from this book.
More romance… it was a slow burn which I’m cool with but by the time we get to them being together we have 100 pages left. And with the 3rd act climax mixed in, we truly didn’t get much happy loving together scenes.
More showing, less telling… Days would pass and Callie would reference what happened. I know there were time jumps in Little Dove but significant relationship building blocks always happened on page. It never skipped over moments between Maximo & Juliet. And we were missing so many moments between Callie & her men.
Even Freddy & Cole’s relationship (while so hot - loved it) had missing foundational pieces. It was very go with the flow which was nice to see no judgement from any characters but the two didn’t even have a conversation about the fact that they started hooking up.
Let’s be real if you love this series you also probably wanted more spankings… What we got was almost glossed over. I get Callie is a rule follower so the opportunities might be limited but I just wish that was a bigger part. Even a fun-ishment would’ve been nice.
This is a personal wish… more Juliet Mila and Callie together. Even if it was just one more scene.
Sigh, I’ll just reread Little Dove to get the good stuff.
Holy hotness! Holding this book in my hands was like holding fire. And not just because of all the steamy times these characters experienced. There was so much more to this story than just the physical chemistry. It was full of heart, charm, and all the alpha goodness I’ve come to love from Ms. Frost. I found myself smiling, laughing, biting my nails, and rooting for these characters as their journey unfolded.
Normally, I’m not a big fan of the "why choose" trope, but since I’m such a huge fan of this author, I had to give it a shot. The relationships between all the characters developed naturally and felt so authentic, which immediately drew me in and made me feel comfortable. I quickly became invested in all the heroes and loved the way they adored and cared for their Goddess. It was a beautifully perfect story, and I’m so glad I took the leap to read it.
I read more than 75%, which is my goal post to rate if I've DNF'd. KU
This author started so promising for me. I loved Best Kase Scenario. Nice tension between MC's, well written, not all sex scenes, sex scenes didn't last more than 10 pages each, story didn't revolve around getting laid, etc. Unfortunately, the cupcake factor is strong with this author now. I mean, I get it. The cancel culture for writing a book that doesn't reflect your likes and dislikes is strong these days, but it's unfortunate because she has the writing chops to really write something other than insta love-lust, no plot other than sex - story. I question the hero's actual manhood in some of these type of books. Also, not real life or even close. Label them fantasy because this is pure wish fulfillment. And that's ok, it's just not me. But, all the "readers" that like to shred an authors rating if they don't write this type of story have totally inspired me to do the same thing. Maybe if we get enough authors to reign these "readers" in we can get some diversity in the romance genre again. Now, I know, diversity is a dirty word in cancel culture, but turn about is fair play.
This is my ARC review of Little Goddess, I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Layla Frost for the opportunity to review this book.
Little Goddess is the third and final book in the Black Resorts series. Unlike the other two books this is a reverse harem book that features 1 female (Callie) and 3 males (Freddy, Cole, and Marco) there is sword crossing in this book between 2 of the male characters.
I am very much a fan of Layla Frost’s writing and have yet to read one of her books that I’ve disliked. I am also very much a fan of reverse harems with those stories generally being the types of books I gravitate towards. When it was announced that this would be her first reverse harem story and the final installment of the Black Resorts series I knew I would need to read it as soon as possible.
Callie our female protagonist is just trying to get by after finally getting free of cult she spent the last 4 years in with her parents, when she found herself getting a job as waitress at one of the Moonlight’s restaurants. Callie has traumas she is internalizing and doesn’t share easily, the walls she has built to protect herself makes it easy to handle the inevitable when secrets are learned - she is stronger than me because I would have cut and run it’s Vegas you’d think she’d be able to find another job - but no she sticks it out and guards her heart the best she could.
The palpable angst between Cole and Freddy just punches you in the gut and just makes you want to sit them both down and separately and together and tell them to get over themselves, because golly gee when they finally do it is chef’s kiss (pun intended). Marco our strong silent type with his OTT possessiveness realizes that Daddys have all the fun. When our group solidifies we are treated to two fantastic daddys and 2 fun brats.
It’s fun to read this as it shares scenes with Little Sunshine (Mila and Ash’s story) - it made me go back to it and reread a couple things because I needed to jog my brain as to what was happening around the same time. Fans of Bynne Asher’s book The Playbook of Emma will get a few subtle nods to an event that happened in that book.
Overall I LOVE this book, I am very sad to see this series come to an end, when Little Dove came out I was skeptical because it straddled a line for me but I am so glad I stuck it out and was able to meet all these red flag waving men and the ladies that absolutely captured their hearts and made those red flags wave even higher.
Serinin ilk kitabına başlayıp yarım bıraktım zira kadın karekter reşit değildi ve bu beni gerdi okurken açıkçası …ikinci kitapta yine benzer şekilde olduğundan onuda es geçip son kitaba başladım revers diye ama maalesef umduğumu bulamadım ..donuk geldi bana anlatım niyeyse akmadı halbuki konu ve karekterler güzeldi aslında bilmiyorum…yazarla tanışmam pek iç açıcı olmadı ama belki ilerde yine de şans verebilirim kalemine🙃
The last book in this series and it’s why choose, age gap with a non-traditional polyamorous quad that surprised me but I dig it. You gotta be into a bit of Daddy fun and that’s not usually my bag, but Ms. Frost makes it work. I had fun, looking forward to the next book this author.
ARC REVIEW Good read (haha). This was a good one, I must say I love the first two books more. Some areas of this one tripped me out a bit, mostly how acceptable their relationship was, especially by the general public. I would have loved to see a bit more push back from society detailed in the story. I loved the relationship dynamic, however, the men obsessed to a whole new level and that’s so great. Great read, fast paced and VERY FUN.
• Thoughts: Oh my goodness. This book was so good!! I loved this story, these characters, so much. Callie is this sweet ray of sunshine, and Marco, Freddy, and Cole are there to protect it. And boy, do they protect it. Lol, but I would not expect anything less from Layla. Her men are delicious, and her female characters are incredible and, as always, perfection!! The chemistry all four have together is seamless. Seriously, this story made my heart so unbelievably happy. Callie with her Daddies and Freddy are so entertaining, they are on fire and of course they have the fun little sarcasm, that just make you giggle. You can't help but to just keep turning the page. And then of course sob (in a good way) when you realize the story is over. This story will be living rent free in my head! I highly recommend this book!
•Recommend: I will always encourage people to read what makes them happy. Even if I rate a book lower, if it sounds like a book, you can get behind. Read it! I am simply here stating my views and thoughts on the book. My reviews are just that, my opinions. Happy reading, friends
The men of the Black Resorts are back in this third and final book in the series.
The author knocked it out of the park with this why-choose story. Seriously, the tension rolling off of Cole and Freddy, would melt butter off a steak. Maximo will always be my favorite “Daddy,” but Callie’s men throw around big daddy vibes like nobody’s business.
“𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒙. 𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝑫𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖" *swoon*
The guys are bossy, possessive, and absolutely obsessed. Callie gives them a run for their money and it was fun to see them fall.
The story was great and I loved seeing the character crossovers. Overall, 100 percent recommend this series and the men who dreams are made of.
That was a beautiful combination of dark romance x action + 🔥🌶🌶🔥 + tears and the humorrrr!
I don't want to think about this series being over but that was a great finale 👏 Sweet angel Callie who went from feeling the loneliness of the world to finding her home with these three gremlins - and I say gremlins because the way they act around Callie is the cutest crazy way 🥰
This was a disappointment. The plot just wasn't there, the chemistry between the main characters wasn't there. There were a few added side plots, I guess you'd call them, that were unnecessary and really didn't add to the book at all. I've read several books by this author and enjoyed them, this was not one of them.
