Once upon a time, a girl read Stealing Infinity, and her life changed forever. Obviously, the girl is yours truly.

I've been recommending this series left and right since the start, and I've been suffering every single minute that book three wasn't out. Then it finally came out in December, and I wasn't ready for the series to end so I kept putting off finishing it.

Now that I have, I'm of course sad that it's over, but also a little disappointed at how it ended. It's no secret that I'm not a fan of open (or semi open) endings, and that's exactly what we got here.

In the context of the story, it works, but it felt very rushed and wasn't all that satisfactory.

During the first half I was like "there's no way this is finishing in book 3, there has to be one more", got to 70% and thought "how can she possibly end this now" and well...that's how, apparently.

But I did really enjoy the rest of it, those scenes with Natasha and her dad hit me right in the feels because she got to say goodbye and I never will.

Although I didn't warm up to Braxton as a love interest in the slightest, I'm not mad at how their story ended. To be honest, I'm just glad .

Speaking of my man deserved a redemption arc!! He was on the way to one, and sure and all that jazz, but you know.

Several questions were answered, but I think we deserved a few more answers if this really is the last book. Or some more closure.

And I also think that this series should've had four books, I gladly would've waited another 2 years for this story to be wrapped up properly. It's still one of my absolute faves though, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

PRE READ:

*patiently* waiting for June DECEMBER???? Why does it say the hardcover is coming out in December omg??? DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE BEEN WAITING? GIVE ME THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I waited two years for this book and it felt like the author wasn't sure where to go with it or how to end it. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed by a book I was so excited about and invested in. It just felt like any time the characters came up against a significant challenge somehow it was solved within minutes and fairly easily. Also, I think that the author missed a great opportunity to dive even deeper into the villain's backstory so that we better understand him. The book hints at his great grief and says that he is grieving a woman, but nothing about who she is, how she died ( I mean it did but sooooo vaguely) or what their love story was. I wasn't invested at all, and so I didn't feel conflicted about their trying to stop him. Also, they prevail at the end of the book, but then the book hints at the villain somehow stealing their fortune and trying to find another way to control the world, so instead of them winning, it just felt like a to be continued, but this is the finale. She isn't writing anymore books, so I don't understand the point of making it seem like they did a lot of work for very little payoff.

I think I wanted her to spend the book overcoming one significant challenge, explain why the villain is bad in a way that makes me either sympathetic, or disgusted at how evil he is, and tie up loose ends about everyone's stories at the end of the book. There are two characters somewhat lost in time, and they are warned about their use of time travel using a special magick book, but we just never hear from them again or find out what their consequences are.

I think I am just frustrated because I ended up with more questions than answers and I know that she is done writing the book, and so I won't get them. I don't mind when books have you draw your own conclusions, but usually the book has given the reader enough facts about the magic system or the time travel to do that, and I don't feel like that was the case here.

This is the conclusion to the Stealing Infinity trilogy and picks up with Natasha coming back from Italy with the Moon. Natasha takes a secret Trip traveling back in time in order to get training from her father and learn from him what she must do to defeat Arthur and prevent him from playing God with the completed Antikythera Mechanism once the Star is retrieved.

Natasha, Braxton, Elodie, Killian, Arthur, and many more Gray Wolf Academy characters re-emerge in this last story. Natasha still questions everyone's loyalty to Arthur and has begun to see if she has anyone else she can convert to her side. Many of the common characters have major developments in their growth, and there are some plot twists, some foreseen or could be guessed at.

I really liked this dystopian romance and am happy to have an ending to the trilogy. It might just be me, but I thought the very ending was a little rushed or anticlimactic to a conclusion of their journey. Still, I loved all the art, music, and historical references throughout and enjoyed this series.

3.5….it ended, but it didn’t, I hate books like that. The conclusion wasn’t as good as it could have been and the excuses for why Arthur was insane was underwhelming. Oh well. Was still a fun time traveling read

I received this ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest and voluntary review. I was in no way compensated for this review.

I dove back into Alyson Noel's Stolen Beauty trilogy with gusto as soon as Chasing Eternity landed in my lap! It was a longer wait to get this one, but it was definitely worth it as Noel brings us an exciting conclusion to this smashing time-traveling series!

Time-traveling books can always be a bit of hit or miss for me as it largely depends on how the time-traveling is explained. Is it magical, is it science...how complex is the process. Noel seems to have a but of both going on here but might rely more on the science aspect. It's been awhile since I read the first two books of the series, and the time-traveling aspect wasn't explained in great detail this time around, but I followed along well enough.

In this installment, we have Natasha trying to work against Arthur as she learns the enigmatic professor of Gray Wolf Academy isn't all what he led her to believe. He's harboring his own secrets and they concern the true reason why he wants the Antikythera Mechanism restored to its former glory.

Natasha has decided to take an unsolicited trip back to 1998 in New York to meet her father, the one Killian murdered not that long ago. She's hoping that he can help her harness her new Timekeeper abilities. Joining her, surprisingly, is Elodie, who had made the last minute jump with her. Natasha is hesitant to trust Elodie's motives as she is steadfastly loyal to Arthur for reasons Natasha isn't too sure of just yet.

Although, it's not long before the two head back home when they learn Arthur has returned early from his own trip and also waiting there is Killian, who apparently helped cover for Natasha's absence. Arthur reveals he knows where the last piece of the Antikythera Mechanism is and he wants Natasha to go back in time to retrieve it for him. He plans on sending either Killian or Elodie with her and Natasha isn't sure who she'd prefer since both of them are loyal to Arthur as it seems Arthur knows Natasha's loyalty is wavering.

This book was one wild ride. I'll admit the delay between books muddled my memory a bit, but thankfully I took some notes so I had an idea of what had happened! Lol. Despite the overwhelming amount of pages--or perhaps I found it overwhelming as I just finished two other books that were in the 500s for page count--the pacing to this one was surprisingly good. I'll admit, the beginning was a bit rough with Natasha training and talking to her dad in the past. As things just seemed to move in slow motion almost, but pretty much the moment she went back to her current timeline, things moved at a steady pace with quite a few pick me ups of action of some kind!

That being said, the romance of this book was positively swoony! I had forgotten how much I loved Natasha and Braxton! They had a rough start at the beginning but eventually found some peace and worked through their issues. There were more romantic interludes than I expected in this one and it was a sweet kind of break from all the seriousness happening around them.

We also finally learn more about Arthur's true intentions with the Antikythera Mechanism and why he wants it fully restored. It was pretty shocking! And the shocks did not stop there as we'd learn several new jaw-dropping bits of information before the story ends and what an ending it was! I wasn't expecting this kind of shock factor. Generally with series finales, I always hope for that HEA ending where we see the characters get their peace and happiness and the possibility of more adventures to come, even if we never see it. While we get that in a sense here, it was far different from what I had anticipated and it left me discombobulated, to say the least! Lol.

All in all, Chasing Eternity was an exciting conclusion to the Stolen Beauty trilogy! Noel has a knack for writing compelling characters in impossible situations! While I am sad to see this series come to an end, it does feel like it's in the right place...but then there's always that little crack in the back door that gets left open. One that will always make you wonder...but I digress! If you're looking for an exciting time-traveling series with suspense, secrets, and romance, then look no further than this!

Overall Rating 4/5 stars

There could not have been a more perfect ending to this Trilogy. Chasing Eternity was a could not put down, epic conclusion with a redemption arc that I couldn’t have predicted. From picking up right where Ruling Destiny left off without skipping a beat, to the twists that really I don’t think anyone could have seen coming, Alyson has done an amazing job wrapping this all up with the most perfect bow that keeps people thinking long after they put the book down.

It truly was a joy seeing our main characters find out who they are, and who everyone isn’t. I didn’t think there could be much world building left, but boy was I wrong. Every plot hook tied up, every tear that could be shed, and everything one could have hoped for. While I don’t know that this was a happy ending, it was certainly a perfect one. This book ties beautifully into the first, a feat that can be difficult when going beyond a stand-alone or duology. Natasha and Braxton continue to be some of my most thought about characters, and while I am sad it is over, the ride was incredible. I highly recommend this series for anyone who likes time-travel, art and tarot. I can't wait to see what Alyson has in store for us next!

Thank you Entangled for the ARC of this most anticipated release!

When I say I have been dying for this book, this series had been such a joy to read with it fresh and unique plot. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this book.

And it left me really disappointed—which I don’t take lightly.

It felt like the story had no direction. The plot was just saying POOF and making problems disappear with no effort or work. The characters journey felt like it should culminate in an epic final show down, and instead I was just confused.

The romance was lackluster and didn’t give me the feels like the previous two.

Overall I love these characters, but this story felt rushed.

As I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two books of Alyson Noël's Stealing Infinity series, I was eager to get started on CHASING ETERNITY. I had no idea where the story was going or how it was going to end. And when you are talking about time travel, anything is possible.

Except, I didn't love CHASING ETERNITY. I enjoyed it immensely...right up until the end. The conclusion Ms. Noël uses is lackluster at best and frustrating at its worst. The whole thing feels as if Ms. Noël couldn't come up with a way to satisfactorily conclude her story and so chose the path of least resistance. It's disappointing.

To make matters worse, there were several times throughout this book when I struggled to ignore the elephant in the room, so to speak. Yes, it seems weird to find certain situations ridiculous when the entire series is all about a group of teenagers who travel through time to steal priceless art and jewelry, but still. There is only so much disbelief I can suspend, and I started feeling uncomfortable around the first chapter when the main character meets a historical figure and said historical figure acts like everything is perfectly normal. When the main character learns the same magic as said historical figure but in a few hours rather than years, I was done.

All this to say CHASING ETERNITY is a disappointment. The Stealing Infinity series to this point was so much fun, crazy but in a good way. I always got the feeling that even Ms. Noël knew how insane her story was and that knowledge made it all okay to like, as if she also embraced the madness without taking any of it too seriously. Until she decided to change that and makes CHASING ETERNITY entirely too serious without eliminating any of the madness. With an ending that feels like a copout more than a well-developed resolution, it makes me change my opinion about the entire series.

Chasing Eternity has been high on my list to read for a while. I absolutely LOVED the first two books but put this off because I was worried about closure. There was so much happening in the first two books I didn't want to be let down.

While I enjoyed reading this one it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. This felt rushed and hastily put together to just get the series done. I honestly felt like there should have been another book to better detail Natasha's journey. She is such an amazing character and to have her come into her destiny the way she did, at such an accelerated pace, was off-putting.

The ending isn't really an ending BUT with time travel and the infinite ways things can happen I get it, and I was ok with that part. Did I wish for better closure, yes. Was I hoping for more backstory with Arthur? Yes. Did I want more struggle before the expected perseverance? Absolutely. However, as readers, we don't always get what we want.

Overall, not a bad read but definitely didn't follow in the footsteps of the previous two. There are quite a few who enjoyed the conclusion more than I, so I would still recommend this one for those who love time travel and history.

I sincerely appreciate Entangled Teen for the review copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

If you want an entertaining series about time travel that’s basically a love letter to art, music, and history, then you’d enjoy this one. It was gratifying to see Natasha’s growth throughout the series, and I felt like she really came into her own power. I actually really loved Killian, and wanted him to get his redemption arc. The ending seemed rushed to me, and I think the book could have benefited from more pages, but overall I enjoyed it.

Time Travel mixed with art, betrayal and love.

This is my favourite book of the trilogy. Even though there isn’t as much time travel as in the other books, the characters made the story interesting enough to keep me hooked.
All the art references are also amazingly done. The pacing is good, the writing style very fluent. All puzzle pieces, revealed in the previous books, align perfectly in this conclusion.
Some things happened a little bit too fast or too suddenly in my opinion, but this didn’t pull me out of the story.
I also loved the romantic relationship in this book, how the characters trust each other. Overall, all the characters were interesting. Some of them managed to surprise me in a positive way, while with others it was the opposite.
The ending wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but it felt very fitting for this story. I’m curious to discover what else the author has in store for her audience.
If you liked books one and two, you’ll definitely want to pick up Chasing Eternity as well.

After reading "Stealing Infinity" & "Ruling Destiny," I wanted to finish the series. It's the conclusion to the fast-paced, time-traveling adventure following Natasha, who is looking to learn more about her new-found skill as a time keeper. The only way to learn these new skills is from the one person she never met, her Dad. When she travels back in time to 1998, she meets the young adult version of her Dad before she was born, where he teaches her the risk of time traveling. W/ it's quirky narrative, down to earth characters & synopsis of art history/Iconography referenced pieces by Vincent Van Gogh & others. It was a fun read. The smut scenes are🌶 I give it 4🌟.

Chasing Eternity is the perfect finale to the Immortals series — breathtaking, emotional, and impossible to put down. Alyson Noël weaves together romance, suspense, and timeless themes of love, sacrifice, and destiny in a way that feels both magical and deeply human. Ever and Damen’s journey has been one of the most captivating I’ve ever read, and this conclusion gave me everything I was hoping for and more.

Noël’s writing is rich and addictive, pulling you into a world that lingers long after you turn the last page. Honestly, her books deserve a much bigger spotlight — right up there alongside The Hunger Games, Twilight, and Divergent. This series has that same unforgettable, binge-worthy quality that makes you fall in love with reading all over again.

A stunning end to a series that I’ll be recommending for years to come!

The time travel element/exploration into history was what I enjoyed most about this series and there’s practically none of that in this final book. Plus, the story had one of the most unsatisfying endings to a series I’ve ever read. It’s going to be a no for me :(

*** also of note - for a YA book, this had quite descriptive spicy scenes. I am generally okay with having sex scenes in YA because normally I feel like they’re pretty tastefully written, but this one was just strange about it, especially because it was so much more intense than the first two in the series ***

May contain minor spoilers.

Chasing Eternity starts off with traveling back to the past for Natasha to learn from her father. This part moved a little slow for me, but it was clear that this was a potential build up to being able to go back to Gray Wolf and kill or overthrow Arthur Blackstone. It’s a lot of the characters coming back together with limited Tripping, which is what gave the series so much appeal in the prior books. The book has its moments; however, overall it was my least favorite in the series.

“And once you bring it to me, the rest of the pieces will be rendered unnecessary.” Maybe it is just me, but this just seems like a lazy way to advance the story when you realize there is only a little over a 100 pages left of the book, and you are out of creative ways to go back in time. There were several mentions about how Natasha had several pieces to collect for Arthur and time to figure out how to stop him, just for this line to be tossed in, oh just kidding the other pieces are irrelevant to my evil plans.

I also found it hard to believe that Arthur wouldn’t foresee the master plan of switching a real item to a fake since that’s what the entire series has focused on. Never mind all the time jumping where he would have likely been exposed to this plot twist.

Pretty sure there is a misprint throughout as the top of the pages in my copy say Chasing Destiny not Chasing Eternity. My version is a hardback book, but the edition was not listed so I picked Kindle since it was the closest page count.

I received an eARC for my honest opinion.

This is the end of the trilogy, and what a great ending it was. In this book you will go with Natasha back in time to ask her father for some help and what it means to be a Timekeeper. However, with the news that she receives now she has even more obstacles to tackle and only with the help of the other students at the school. Will they be able to complete their mission and set the world right or will they end up helping the bad guy get what he has always wanted?

I thought the author did a wonderful job wrapping up this book, they answered the questions that the first two books brought up, we had more action in this book, and I loved that the time travel was explained more when it came to the Timekeepers. I thought overall that this author did a great job with the time travel books and really made it interesting with the use of magic in a different way. The plot was fast-paced, and it was interesting throughout the book that you will find yourself reading it in 1 or 2 days. I thought the characters developed great throughout the trilogy, but you will really see their development in this book.

I enjoyed getting to see Natasha’s character develop throughout the books but in this book, you will really see her shine. I liked that you gotta see her get her backbone in this book and really start to see who she can and who she cannot trust at Gray Wolf. I liked that she took more chances in this book even knowing what some of those chances could lead to, but she knew that she had to stop Arthur no matter what. She also grew up to understand that some things in history cannot change no matter how hard you try or how bad you want it. I found the romance triangle in trilogy to have been done great, I liked that in this book you will see Natasha go all in with Braxton and that she doesn’t look back after that. You will see their relationship bloom after that, and you will see a strong relationship come out of those two. With Braxton, I felt finally after he opened up about everything, no secrets hidden away he was a great guy. I did still have my doubts though right up to the end of the book because of the way the author wrote these books with the twist and turns the characters took, I was still on the fence about him, but he won my heart over. I liked the fact that we got to see Braxton’s POV in this book as well, it was not a continuous part of the book, but a few parts and I enjoyed learning more about his characters and what he was always thinking about.

I did like that the author ended the book with it being open-ended, because that might see more books with the time traveling setting back in the future and if so I can not wait to read those books.

If you enjoy time travel, a magical system that is great, a love triangle, action, great plot and fun characters you need to read these books.

I want to thank NetGalley and Entangled for the opportunity to review this book.

Serien-Reihenfolge:
1. Stealing Infinity
2. Ruling Destiny
3. Chasing Eternity

Natasha is searching for her dad in 1998. She needs him to teach her how to be a Timekeeper. She will do anything it takes, even if she might lose everything, to learn the truth about Gray Wolf Academy, Arthur Blackstone and his real plans. Before it's too late.

Starting with an enticing prologue from Braxton's perspective, the intrigue skyrockets immediately due to what happens in it. Presenting a tighter narrative than its predecessors, this installment is all the better for it. Utterly readable, you just gobble up the pages. The 1st person POV still makes us feel like we're along for the exhilarating ride, and we remain in Natasha's corner whatever she does. We feel what she is feeling. The vivid imagery is precise to the moment in storytelling, the figurative speech lending its creativeness to reinforce the evocative strength of the narrative.

Things move along at a gratifying pace, in a refreshingly unconvoluted manner. In the midst of her Yoda-like training and other experiences, we witness the protagonist's evolution with keen interest. We learn a lot about the time travel and mythology of this world and I am elated. I really liked how the book returns to the prologue and continues from there giving us more of Braxton's POV, Yay! He is as interesting and swoon-worthy as ever. Natasha's complicated relationship with Elodie is always interesting to read also.

There is some repetitiveness, the reminiscing and musings oftentimes longwinded and not at the best time. I think I needed more 'justice' in the finale and a few more things tied up.

This book is about finding the strength within. It plays compellingly with ideas that have to do with the concepts of time and fate. Also the notion that the world is big, the universe vast but everything is connected, something that is repeated often in the book. It also teaches us that time is precious.

With jaw-dropping reveals & surprises and nail-biting suspense, this finale is still giving us that time travel awe and fun plus the DaVinci Code feel, in a storyline that I absolutely enjoyed.

Book Review: Chasing Eternity by Alyson Noël

Alyson Noël takes us on another wild ride in Chasing Eternity, the latest installment of The Stealing Infinity series. With time travel, heart-pounding twists, and impossible choices, Natasha’s journey just keeps getting deeper—and darker. This time, the stakes are higher, and every decision feels like it could unravel everything.

✨ This story does not quit! Every chapter drops something new, pulling me even further into the mystery. Noël really knows how to pace a story that keeps you guessing.

✨ Natasha feels so real to me—flawed, brave, and learning who she really is in this crazy world. I loved watching her struggle with the big questions about her powers, her loyalty, and her place in it all.

✨ The romance is just the right mix of swoon-worthy and complicated. Noël balances it with the suspense perfectly, and there were definitely some scenes that had me flipping the pages as fast as possible.

✨ Noël’s descriptions bring everything to life, whether it’s the settings of a historical moment or the mystical society that Natasha’s navigating. The time travel aspect is so well done and immersive—it feels like you’re right there.

I loved how this story makes you think about the choices we make, who we trust, and what happens when power gets in the way of what’s right. Natasha’s journey dives into that fine line between good and evil, making her story so much more than just an adventure.

If you love books that mix suspense, romance, and time travel, Chasing Eternity is going to pull you in and not let go. Noël delivers everything I was hoping for with this one—high stakes, mystery, and a heroine I’m rooting for even more now.

Would I recommend it? 100%! This one’s a total escape and worth the read if you’re into supernatural adventures with some great twists.

Thank you to Entangled Teen and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

1,5/5✨️

Nachdem Natasha in 2.
