Arc Review
AB. Cynthe novellas never miss a beat, they are so action packed and have a quality I fear most novellas lack and that is immersive without the virtual reality technology, it is quite amazing to read a story and feel like you are literally there with the characters, adding Aimee-Jo Hunter as a co-writer was an excellent treat, these two should definitely collab again.
The disco horror theme really sealed the deal when I saw the promo for this novella, adding the gore aspect with disco is just a fun and unique reading experience and twist on horror. I enjoyed the characters and their relationships with each other, the idea play of Devils with their Angel is always a hit and added a unique vibe with the setting of the story, highly recommend giving this novella a read!!!

Soooooooojust finished Disco Fevee by AB. Cynthe (with the insanely perfect collab Aimee-Jo Hunter) and I’m shook! This novella is a wild 70s erotic horror ride that throws you straight into a blood-soaked disco inferno. Picture glitter, gore, and a killer soundtrack of passion—pure unhinged magic. ( I’m also never getting the songs out of my head)
The immersive vibe is unreal. You’re not just reading; you’re living every chaotic moment with Dot, Kat, and Dante. Dots, raw, heart-on-her-sleeve journey with addiction had me feeling all the feels, and that delicious mix of dark romance and edgy FFM dynamics? Total game changer.
This story is so much more than just hot, steamy thrills—it’s a mesmerizing blend of retro vibes, devil-meets-angel twists, and that tantalizing “what if” energy that keeps you dreaming long after the final page. If you’re all about that spicy, no-holds-barred romance with a dash of devilish flair, Disco fever is an absolute must-read.
Ahhhh. The vibes, the aesthetic… I was transported to a 70’s str1p club and it was everything I wanted and MORE. The devils and their angel. Deadly and delicious. This is the MFF we NEEDED! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Disco Fever was such a fun and bl00dy time! I really loved the dynamic between Dante and Kat and adding Dot to the mix?? Perf! A 70s themed Dark Horror Romance that just hits all the right spots <3 AB. Cynthe and Aimee-Jo Hunter killed this one!! Very steamy but mixed with some very real moments between the three. Very much recommend but always check your triggers!

DISCO FEVER INDEED! This book has the right amount of spice vs plot, enough to keep you totally engaged through out the book. The 70’s were a time of glitter eyeshadow, high platform boots, and lots of drugs. Dante and Kat were known as the Disco Devils, in the world known as Eden’s Inferno they were in charge. Enter Bubbles, yes. Bubbles. She’s just as you’d think only with a bit of a bugger sugar issue. What unfolds throughout the book is nothing short of amazing!
You had me at 70's themed dark romance/horror. Death, drugs, disco: yes! This story is unhinged and has all the music, drugs, glitter, spice and plenty of gore. Be sure to check the TW's if that's something you do.. The story line was fun, the characters were pretty intense, all in all it made it a fun read by two authors who did a great team-up 🪩
This entire story was THE VIBE. 70’s strip club & murder. Some of my favorite things… and the SPICE 🥵🔥
I loved the dynamic between our Disco Devils, Kat & Dante! When Dot, a dancer at the club, catches their attention & joins the mix… PERFECTION. I adored Dot with her immediate loyalty to Kat & Dante with a flare of feminine rage 💁🏼♀️
This is a quick read but such an erotic, bloody good time. 🪩🔪🪽
What happens when two disco devils want a seemingly innocent girl… I’ll tell ya. Lots of delicious things but ultimately, so much trouble.
Kat & Dante charged with protection of a popular club, while also dealing on the side, have a routine in place. Protect the club, protect each other at all costs, but absolute no drug use. Kat is our alpha female boss, giving so much femme domme energy. Dante is our good boy, Kat’s balance, a loyal soldier. They balance each other out.
What happens when the newest exotic dancer, Dottie, catches not only Kat’s eye, but also Dante’s. She’s mesmerizing, an obsession, an angel amongst the devils. Only one problem, she’s not as innocent as she seems. Our Dot is running from a past, self medicating with cocaine, but don’t worry it’s all “under control”. When it comes to her Kat & Dante will break every one of their rules to protect her. She owns their attention, their bodies, and their hearts.
There is blood, gore, unhinged behavior and the spice in this book POPs off! If you are looking for an erotic horror that you can binge in one sitting. This IS IT!
Dot will have you thinking…never underestimate a cute blond in pink sparkles, she may be the craziest one in the bunch.
‘Now keep those eyes on me, you devils. I’m dancing for you.’
‘Let me be your angel.’

The Devils basically run Eden’s Inferno strip club, using it to conduct their nefarious activities. They also have taken a liking to one of the girls working there, Dot. Dot AKA Bubbles is a woman trying to escape her past and her chosen method… drugs. A short & spicy tale of lush to love, strippers and drugs.
Out of the gate this book is spicy, starting with a pre-established couple who add Dot into their intense relationship during the course of the book. This story was a riot, with so much happening within the 168 pages. If you like the idea of spice and horror, you’ll love this one. As you can imagine The Devils get up to some pretty bloody stuff, Dot included. I loved the three main characters, I would LOVE to see some fanart!
I really liked the way Eden’s Inferno was described and the girls working there. It felt respectful and validating of their careers. Honestly, it had me wanting to visit. The 70’s setting/ vibe was also great, and not something I’ve read before but could envision perfectly.
The only thing I struggled with was feeling how dangerous The Devils were, despite their crimes detailed in the story I just can’t be scared of people in bell bottoms 😅
Thank you to AB. Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter for the review copy in exchange for an honest review.
When I tell you that I RAN to my kindle when I saw the email pop through for this ARC, I am not exaggerating. This book was on my “most anticipated reads of this year” since it was announced because AB. Cynthe DOES NOT MISS.
AND STILL DID NOT MISS.
This novella was phenomenal! I always love a 70’s horror movie, so this novella was right up my alley. The vibes of this were insane and the playlist really got me in the groove.
Not only is the scenery good and written immensely well, the characters were INSANE (I mean, literally too). Dottie is a character I can relate to on many levels and my empathy with her situation knows no bounds. I do wish we got to explore a little more of the other characters just because I really loved Dante & Kat. I would love to know their background and how they came to be (maybe another novella? Fingers crossed!)
Either way, this lil’ guy was a straight vibe and I can’t wait for you all to experience it!

A gorey, touching, romantic story unlike any other. I was expecting something fun, hot, and crimson galore and I got that and so much more! What I wasn't expecting was a touching story on dealing with addiction. As someone who went through their own journey with "liquid courage" it was really healing for me to read how raw Dottie felt going through her own healing journey. I absolutely love AB Cynthe because her stories are always so freaking good that her novellas always have me hoping for more. This story is complete and could be left here... but there could also be more and that's what I LOVE about her writing. You get a conclusion but that delicious feeling of "what if" lingers. And with these 3, good lord. I could read a thousand books with them because their chemistry was so good. If you love a Mommy instead of Daddy, you're guna loveeee this; she's the boss and they follow her orders. So hot.

I honestly loved this. It's 70s vibes mixed with horror and I couldn't get enough of it. Who doesn't love a club with dancers and servers on skates. From the moment you meet Kat and Dante I was immediately obsessed with them. The vibes they were giving off were just everything and the energy I needed in this.
Incomes Dot the dancer who catches the attention of the Disco Devils. She didn't know how to react knowing that she has caught the attention of the Disco Devils and from the moment she does she loves the attention they give her. Dottie has been through it and she is struggling in her own ways. She uses her little compact mirror with her little snowy friend in it. As Dot starts being with her Devils more and more she feels that she is right where she belongs.
Disco Fever was a really fun book to read! I've never read a book like it - the plot is so interesting, and it held my attention really well. I enjoyed how it was set in the 70s, and the descriptions the authors used in the book really made me feel like we were back in that decade!
All of the main characters in this book; Dante, Kat, and Dot, are very unique, and I liked them all for different reasons! Dottie is sweet and bubbly, Dante is charming and dependable, and Kat is strong and confident.
Watching the relationship grow between these three was really exciting! I enjoyed seeing the switch from crush to something more.
Disco Fever has masked mc's, spice, addiction, bløød/gøre, and moments of raw emotion that made me enjoy the book even more - it's a really nice mix of different tropes! I liked this book a lot, and I'm so excited that there are two others coming, I can't wait to see what they hold!
• 🤭 excuseeeeee me you two. This was absolutely 𝙳𝙴𝙻𝙸𝙲𝙸𝙾𝚄𝚂. I ate this story up.
• Dottie, Kat, & Dante. These 3 are such captivating MCs. Each one grabbing you in their own way, and never letting you go. From the very first page you were like 👀 to the very last. It was a steamy and bloody ride and I was SOOOOO here for it. Lots of giggles and kicking my feet, how could you not honestly?
• Am I not saying a lot for a reason. Yes. Do I want you to read this? Also yes. But basically I love these 3, and I reallyyyyy think you will too 😈
This was a wild fun ride. I loved the disco aspect, and the entire pit and set up! The characters were intriguing and I was digging all of the descriptions and personalities.
For me though there was a little disconnect between the plot and characters connections. It just felt a little off for me. I had a hard time connecting with everyone. And then ending left me massively confused until it was revealed that there will be two more books. Now the ending makes more sense.
I'm still curious to see where the plot goes and what's gonna happen next!
“𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒆. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕.” Disco Fever by Ab. Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter ARC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 🌶️🌶️ I am obsessed with this story. I loved how these characters came to life throughout the story. I felt like I could truly envision them: their mannerisms, what they looked like, down to creating that movie in my head with ease as I read along. All I know is I want to put glitter all over my body and dance with the Devils and their Angel all night long. 🪩
First I want to thank both of the authors for this ebook ARC of Disco Fever.
This book was a wild ride! For a short book this certainly wasn’t disappointing in the slightest.
The storyline and plot worked really well in this short book. I loved Kat she was amazing and a total badass. Kat, Dante and Lottie were all just perfect. I have no other words.
As always check your triggers before you read this.
Let’s take a drama filled trip back to disco balls roller skates nose candy and extreme amounts of misbehaved street behavior. Right next to all the chaos, you are gifted with several pages of steamy adult fun. There was only one thing I could not get past and something that I truly despise …. the character name: Bubbles. Ha!!! I mean really?
I loved the disco vibes! I could picture Eden’s Inferno vividly in my mind as I read. There were elements to this that I enjoyed and some I didn’t. I found it hard to connect with the story, but the overall vibes were immaculate
This was an absolutely incredible read, I loved all the 70s references. Dot, Kat and Dante will hold a special place in my heart for a long time! (Plus I would love their masks). I really enjoyed the mix of spice and disco.
“I want you to die knowing that a woman in chaps and a f*cking purple, bedazzled devil mask shot you in the face for being sick a f*cking idiot! … Who’s the b¡tch now?”
Loved it! The writing, the setting, the trama, the ending tie-back to the beginning 😙🤌
This book was a killer good time. I expected, spice, darkness, and fun but I didn’t expect such a powerful, raw story. I highly recommend giving this book a read.
