Three hockey romances for one credit!
I really enjoyed Beauty and the Beefcake. It is a cute, sweet and really funny story. The humor was very OTT, but fun!
In Charming As Puck, these hot and hunky hockey players of the Copper Valley Thrusters are up to their usual hijinks and leaving us swooning in their wake. Sugarbear the calf-puppy steals the spotlight in this adorable romp.
I Pucking Love You is sweet and emotional and … Oh Yes…SO FUNNY!
I loved each story better than the last! It was great listening to these on audiobook with the wonderful narration.

Beauty and the Beefcake (The Copper Valley Thrusters #3)
This forbidden romance was so sweet, hilarious, and steamy! Felicity is living in her late grandmother's house when her brother shows up and asks if his teammate Ares, and his service monkey, can stay there while Ares recuperates his injured ankle. Felicity is directionless, being extremely intelligent, having 4 college degrees, but doesn't have a clue about life or her purpose. She expresses her thoughts and frustrations through her ventriloquism and her multiple hilarious characters, especially at the most awkward situations. Ares was born to play hockey. He loves it and is lost when he can't be out on the ice. He doesn't need to talk because he shows what he is thinking with his expressions and through his actions. They are total opposites in so many ways, but they have an instant connection, understand each other intrinsically, and their fiery attraction is palpable. Their love story is sweet, heartfelt and sizzling! I loved the way Felicity understood Ares' everylook and action, not needing more than his hilarious grunts. She faught for him when others overlooked his intelligence, and he protected her and helped her understand her worth.
Wen Ross, and Virginia Rose did a great job narrating this delightful romcom and bringing it to life. I love both their voices, along with their flawless comedic timing and dynamic voice changes. Ross was so perfect as the gentle giant with the deep grunts and Rose was amazing as she performed all the different ventriloquist character voices. They really put themselves out there, being just as outrageous in their deliveries making this fast paced, hilarious, heartfelt, and sweet & steamy romance so much fun!

I loved Nick and Kami's second chance romance! They were friends with benefits for awhile until Nick unwittingly hurt Kami one too many times. Now he is lost without her and he is determined to prove that he is more than a self-centered playboy. Kami has loved Nick for awhile and was happy. But now she doesn't want to be kept a secret anymore. She wants a home, a family, and a man who puts her first. Nick is more thoughtful than people give him credit for, and Kami falls harder for him as he makes up for lost time. Nick is so swoony as he shows his love of his cow/dog, the hilarious pranks he plans, and the thoughtful/romantic ways he shows he really cares, Kami never stood a chance. I loved Nick and Kami together. They were both sweet, caring, and funny, and their chemistry is off the charts, even with all the awkward interruptions!
Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood were brilliant as Nick and Kami, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. Their incredible chemistry, comedic timing, and easy delivery had me totally lost in the their storytelling. This was such a fun listen as I laughed out loud, more than once, at their hilarious banter and awkward situations. I loved both their deliveries as they brought this hilarious, heartwarming, sweet and steamy story to life!

I absolutely loved this hilarious, heartfelt fake date romance! This slow burn, rom-com is filled with witty banter, awkward and hilarious situations, and a sweet and sexy storyline with lots of heart. Tyler and Muffy are complete opposites but are so cute and perfect together. Muffy is a matchmaker and cares deeply for her clients. She finds the perfect matches in an unorthodox way, just like every other unconventional decision in her life. Tyler is a sexy professional hockey player with a heart of gold. He loved helping Muffy in a time of need, and has been attracted to her for along time. Muffy doesn't think she is worthy of him and afraid he will tire of all the chaos in her life, just like many other people she should have been able to trust. Tyler feels a protectiveness he never had before and is determined to make her see how wonderful she is and that they are meant to be together. I love Tyler and Muffy, all their little quirks, their fun banter, and their chemistry was off the charts!
Emma Wilder and Aiden Snow did a great job narrating this delightful romcom and bringing it to life. I love their humor, and their easy ability to make this awkward and emotional story feel real and authentic. They helped make this hilarious, heartfelt, and sweet & steamy romance even more entertaining!

Ares, Murphy and Tyler - the swoony sexy hockey players find love
These stories have a little bit of everything - three dimensional characters, witty dialogue, and engaging storylines plus sweet moments, fan your face steam, side splitting hilarity, tearful scenes, and heart squeezing love. They will give you all the feels - expect to swoon, to laugh and to cry - but more importantly, expect to be able to see yourself as sexy and beautiful even in the moments when you’ve felt lost and different. Plus there are super hot hockey players and cute animals! Sprinkled liberally throughout these beautifully paced stories of the individual HEAs, there are also other characters from the Pippa Universe. It is okay if you have not yet read the love stories of these characters though. They are woven seamlessly into the story so rather than being overwhelming or detracting from the main love story they add to the beauty of it.

This book is for all the women (and men) who do not fit the mold and struggle to find their purpose in our linear world. It shows us we are all worthy of finding what makes our heart happy. On the surface, Ares and Felicity appear to be complete opposites. Felicity is a vegan and a genius with 4 college degrees who graduated high school at 13 but cannot seem to find her life path. She also is a talented ventriloquist, has an overly protective older brother and seems to attract/date weirdo stalkers. Ares is a 6’9” mountain of a man who’s a professional hockey player. Most everyone believes Ares is so stupid that he can barely speak and probably cannot tie his own shoes. On their way to their HEA, Ares and Felicity have to both learn a lot about love, trust, letting go of fear, and learning to embrace who you are. Ares in his quiet loving generous way helps Felicity find her path. While Felicity in her loud, venting in so many voices shows Ares that he is so much more than just hockey.

She decides she’s worth someone who wants a real relationship with her instead of waiting for Nick to finally see her. Nick of course now wants her back but Kami is determined to resist his charms.

This is the second boxset in this series and one you should not miss. If you love laugh out loud swoony romances with crazy fun character then you definitely need this set. All 3 books are 5 star books in my personal (and unbiased) opinion. Individual reviews below.
*Beauty & the Beefcake*
Throughout this entire series of standalones I have stood by the fact that Chase and Ambrosia have been my favorite couple. They have now officially dropped into second place as Felicity and Ares have taken their place. I LOVE these two! Now only was it wonderful to finally get into Ares (quiet, doesn't talk, responds mostly in grunts, sends gifs as texts Ares) head but it was so nice to see the sweeter loving side of him. Felicity was hilarious!! But she also made me cry. She was just trying to find her way and it seemed like so many people were against her finding her way, and it wasn't in anything they said to her but the actions they took toward her. These two made me laugh, cry, they broke me and they put me back together. I love them and I'm so glad that I got a chance to read their HEA. Hopefully we see more of them in upcoming book! Oh and that epilogue and Ares devoted words... LOVE IT!!

I LOVE NICK! I've been a serious fan of this author since her first book came out. And though the Berger twins are awesome I've always been a dedicated Chase fan. None of Pippa's characters could top Chase and Ambrosia in my eyes. Until now. Chase has finally met his match in Nick! Though Nick acted like a complete a** at the beginning he figured out how to redeem himself ten fold. LOVE HIM!! Then there is Kami. What is NOT to love about her. She's perfect, even though she doesn't think she is, which is a great quality to have. These two made me laugh and cry happy tears all at the same time. This book may be hilarious but it is also full of swoon-worthy moments that you should not pass up. Go forth and read this book. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

I just love these two. To be honest I wasn't sure what I would think of Muffy. She was a hot mess the first time I met her. But in this story she is an amazing hot mess who needs to be told how incredible she is and Tyler is the perfect man for the job. I love that this story started with a broken peen. I love that these two catch up at Cod Pieces (I constantly had a craving for fish and chips). I loved the funeral and how Tyler’s family just kept making unexpected appearances. I kind of wish we got more text threads but I'm sure that would have made this book HUGE! Tyler and Muffy are a couples dream. This story was fun, witty, and just kept me smiling. I could even tolerated Hilda, just a little bit though.
I'm so glad we got to go back to the Thruster's world. I missed these crazy hockey players and the women they fall in love with. Hopefuls we'll get more from them in the future. ❤❤

Beauty and the Beefcake:
A man of few words falls for a woman of many in Pippa Grant’s Beauty and the Beefcake. It’s a story about a hockey player recovering from an injury, an overprotective brother who thinks his sister can’t protect herself from the creeps she keeps attracting, a neurodivergent heroine with multiple degrees that just can’t seem to figure out which occupation is the right fit (but desperately wants to work for the Thrusters pro hockey team), and, ultimately, finding the right person to embrace your weirdness.

- The super-smart heroine (We love an intelligent FMC.)
- How Felicity realizes Ares isn’t dumb: he’s perceptive
- The friendship group
- How Ares hates Harold
- Loki, the pet monkey
- How Ares understands Felicity
- The laughs
- How Felicity can interpret Ares’s looks and few words

Full disclosure: she is a ventriloquist—yes, complete with puppets—but those voices come out whether the puppets are on her hands or not (including in the bedroom).
Narrators Virginia Rose and Wen Ross do a good job of capturing all of the voices, including those of the puppets. Both are well-cast for these characters. Rose’s voice captures Felicity’s quirkiness, and Ross’s voice for Ares is nice and deep.
Charming as Puck:
The hot hockey player realizes he has real feelings for the friend-with-benefits, when she abruptly cuts off their arrangement and his game quickly tanks as a result in Pippa Grant’s Charming as Puck. To complicate matters even further, she’s his little sister’s best friend and, unbeknownst to him, has had a crush on him since childhood.

This is my favorite of these three.

In Pippa Grant’s I Pucking Love You, the intellectual hockey player gets an unexpected second chance with the woman who has been avoiding him since their one-time hookup. Spoiler alert: he hasn’t been able to—erm—perform since they got together in a walk-in refrigerator months ago.
Tyler doesn’t realize it was bad for Muffy, y’all.
This one is on the wackier side but brings Grant's signature humor, heart, and heat.
Muffy is clumsy, awkward, and often misunderstood with an underlying intelligence and a heart of gold.
I enjoyed watching how Muffy cares for everyone around her and how Tyler cares for her.
Narrator Aiden Snow has a deliciously deep voice in this one, and narrator Emma Wilder captures Muffy’s anxiety and relatability well.

Narrators Virginia Rose and Wen Ross do a good job of capturing all of the voices, including those of the puppets. Both are well-cast for these characters. Rose’s voice captures Felicity’s quirkiness, and Ross’s voice for Ares is nice and deep.
Charming as Puck:
The hot hockey player realizes he has real feelings for the friend-with-benefits, when she abruptly cuts off their arrangement and his game quickly tanks as a result in Pippa Grant’s Charming as Puck. To complicate matters even further, she’s his little sister’s best friend and, unbeknownst to him, has had a crush on him since childhood.

In Pippa Grant’s I Pucking Love You, the intellectual hockey player gets an unexpected second chance with the woman who has been avoiding him since their one-time hookup. Spoiler alert: he hasn’t been able to—erm—perform since they got together in a walk-in refrigerator months ago.
Tyler doesn’t realize it was bad for Muffy, y’all.
This one is on the wackier side but brings Grant's signature humor, heart, and heat.
Muffy is clumsy, awkward, and often misunderstood with an underlying intelligence and a heart of gold.
I enjoyed watching how Muffy cares for everyone around her and how Tyler cares for her.
Narrator Aiden Snow has a deliciously deep voice in this one, and narrator Emma Wilder captures Muffy’s anxiety and relatability well.

I can not tell you how much I love this author's books! She just GETS me! I have been waiting for this one for awhile, I fell alittle in love with strong silent Ares back in his sister's book, Mister McHottie, then even more so with subsequent mentions in the other books, and I LOVED Felicity ever since she made Loki talk in Royally Pucked. This book is a complete stand alone, you do not have to read any of Ms. Grant's other books to understand this one (but do yourself a favor and read all her books, she's a riot, you should get her newsletter too!) that being said you can read them out of order too, I did initially and still got all the jokes. Ares is so much more than I'd hoped for, she brought him to life just wonderfully, I love his sense of humor, and I love his vulnerability. I didn't think it would be possible to make his larger than life character vulnerable, but she totally does it. Same with Felicity, outside you are like, what could this chick possibly be insecure about? But Ms. Grant does a wonderful job 'humanizing' her. It was funny, it was sweet, and it was super hot, all the things I look for when I open a book by the author. This is POSSIBLY my favorite book of hers so far, but now I'm hoping she has plans for Nick to find love somewhere down the line. I hope for a few more mentions of Loki in the future too! Love that little monkey!

The amazing Pippa does it again! This is the perfect combo of sweet hot love and laughter that have become a staple of this author's books! SO MANY LAUGHS! I love people and characters who don't take themselves too seriously, Kami and Nick are perfect for each other, theres a cow-dog involved, several times I caught myself sitting here smiling into an empty room, feeling the warm glow of an amazing love story. Its second chance meets friends to lovers plus sports romance in the best possible way and you will love every minute of it.

Grab this boxset now! If you love romance and laugh out loud funny books, grab this second part of the Copper Valley Thrusters series! We start with Beauty and the Beefcake. This one is especially fun, as it has a variety of personalities in our heroine, Felicity. She is an amazing ventriloquist, who has been trying to find herself. Now with a crazy ex stalking her, she needs some protection. Ares is an injured hockey player, a man of few words, who needs to rest and heal. Who better to be put together? This set up is so good, with the talkative Felicity, misunderstood, and underappreciated she is a woman we can all find something in common with. Ares, with his one word grunts, his persistence to be on the ice, and just his feeling of the underdog makes it impossible not to love him.
Next up, the goal scoring book of Charming as Puck! Nick is the goalie for the Thrusters, and he forgets his best friend with benefits and veterinarian, Kami's birthday. Kami wants more from Nick, but clearly, if he can't even remember her birthday, he has no interest in anything more. No longer happy with the situation, she distances herself from him. Loved It
This is a box set of three books. (I'll try to remember the details of each book without giving away anything good😁)
Beauty and the Beefcake is Ares' story. I LOVE Ares! (Can't decide which Berger twin I love more...). I knew there had to be more to Ares than we'd seen in the other books and I was not disappointed. I think Felicity was supposed to be one of those "quirky" women that I tend to hate in romance books (and in general, actually), but it kinda worked for her. And I loved her and Ares together.
Charming as Puck is Nick Murphy's story. I didn't expect this to open with Nick and Kami (Nick's sister Felicity's friend) to be in a "friends-with-benefits" kind of relationship. Mix that with a lot of pranks--some featuring farm animals--and you have the makings of a good story with lots of humor. (The costume party scene had me scream-laughing!)
I Pucking Love You was Muffy's (Kami's cousin) and Tyler Jaeger's story. Muffy was the kind of "quirky" I don't care for. Clumsy/klutzy...low self-esteem... makes pretty stupid decisions... UGH. She wasn't horrible (I've read worse characters), but... yeah...no. I liked Jaeger. He's hilarious especially the funeral scenes!), as is his entire family, who show up in this book. (It took me a minute to recognize the connections to the Blue Water Billionaires.). I think this one may be the sweetest story in this set.
The books in this series are hilarious! Miss Pippa did an awesome job! (I would love to see Lavoie get a book... and I'd like to see what happened that led to Connor's little surprise in Vegas!) If you like romantic comedies that feature grown men who act like overgrown children, you should probably enjoy this series.

As a huge fan of this author, I'm glad that I get to relive this series through these box sets (1-3 are also available in another set). What sets these stories apart is that while there are so many laughs, there is also just so much heart. Actually, the first book I read in this series was Charming as Puck, where bad boy hockey star, Nick, realizes what he's lost when he finally loses Kami and then does everything he can to get her back. I swooned so much (in between laughing because of the funny pranks, the animal scenes and the girl power scenes). Then, of course, I had to read the other books in the series.
Also in this collection is Beauty and the Beefcake, with Felicity and hockey phenom and one of the twins, Ares. He doesn't talk much but his protective nature when it came to Felicity was so adorable. And Felicity, with her schtick, which revolves around being a ventriloquist, was so funny. Speaking of which, this one should also be lived through the audiobook- it was such an amazing audiobook and Virginia Rose amazed as Felicity.
And of course, the newest book in the series was focused on Tyler and Muffy and is focused on the fake dating trope. Initially hilarious and then poignant towards the end as both characters deal with their issues associated with their perception of self and relationships, this one made me laugh and tear up.
What I love most about all these books is that they are rom coms but also a cast production. Every book may follow a couple but every supportive character gets into the fun and as a reader, I've built a (fictional) relationship with all of them. Such a wonderful set of books!!

Plenty of Heart and Laughs
I had so much fun reading books 3-5 in the Copper Valley Thrusters Series. Which is why I love reading books by Pippa Grant. She writes hilarious plots with swoon worthy heroes and strong Heroines. Not to mention if there is an animal/pet in the story, you better believe you’re going to get some crazy antics happening.
I don’t know who I fell in love with more in these books. However, The Berger Twins kind of top my lists. They are both such great guys and I love the way they’re these gentle giants with the ladies and absolute beasts on the ice. To know them is to love them. I adore how all the characters intertwine amongst the Pippa verse books and these are no exceptions. The romance is also romancing in these books so expect some enjoyable spice to warm up your bookish heart’s. You will want to be adding new book boyfriends to your list so be advised. I’d also like to mention you can read each book as a stand alone and still enjoy each book, but it is nice to go in order and have some back info going into it if you can.
If you want a feel good escape book that is just fun and full of romance then read these books and frankly anything by Pippa Grant. You will have a great time guaranteed. I highly recommend!!

Great group of books! I really really LOVeD the first two in this grouping. The last one I just did not connect with at all. I liked it but did not enjoy it as much as the other two. Below is a breakdown

Love this one! Sooo awesome! I wondered how Ares would fare in a main role with no talking but Felicity covers that base. Complete opposites blend together!
Charming as Puck-5 stars
Yess! One of my favorites! Watching Nick got from jokster to man was soooo good! I loved the addition of the baby cow! She works perfectly with Cami who is a vet and loves animals! Can you really teach a cow to play fetch? Nick’s family is amazing. Plus we get to see lots of the Berger Twins.
I Pucking Love You-3 stars
I didnt connect wih tyler and figured this one was a wash but as the atory moved along I became Invested in his story and his life but eventually became bored with it. His family could jot save this one for him. The audio did not work for me. The male voice too low and I was constantly turning it up and down.

Nick needs her to help with his game. She wants to be more than a helper. I smiled through this entire book. I think every book get better and better.
Muffy & Tyler
Muffy is a matchmaker Tyler is a Hockey player. She can’t seem to get things right but I love how he stands up for her.
All three books are hilariously entertaining. If you want to laugh and fall in love with great Characters Pippa Grant knows how to create just that. All of these books have hockey players in them, however she doesn’t get into the hockey aspect too much. Pippa’s books are pretty low angst with just enough heat to make them great. In my opinion, Pippa writes the best rom-coms. She also picks the best narrators. All of these are perfectly narrated with the best personalities.

I loved this series!
I loved all of the books in this series.
Pippa Grant has a brilliant mind or she’s straight up nuts. Maybe a little of both 😂. Either way, I love her work. The snarky, the banter, the friendly rivalry in all her books is fantastically entertaining. The one liners are hilarious and my family looks at me funny when I literally laugh out loud while cooking dinner. I wasn’t a huge fan of the amount of ventriloquism in the book, but that doesn’t mean Virginia Rose didn’t give us an absolutely stellar performance on each one of her multi personalities.
All these books are narrated by top shelf narrators who perform her books perfectly.

Over 30 hours of laughs and swoons. This boxset is packed full of funny. First we have Aries and Felicity and all of the hilarious puppets. They are great together. Then we have Nick and Cami and we have pranks and a calf. This was too funny and Cami is perfect for Nick. Last but certainly not least is Tyler and Muffy and I think this was my favorite. Muffy deserved to find her happily ever after with Tyler. All three books are fantastic and packed full of funny moments as well as serious underline issues to work through and lots of heat.
The multi narrators were all great. They were paired up perfectly for the characters and I enjoyed listening to all of them. This is a great set and I highly recommend it.

I read both box sets. I also read every other Copper Valley extended family from the Bro Codes to the Fireballs and then some. Pippa’s world is a world of people with real personalities— a bit fanciful and quite funny. The books keep me from dropping into the less happy parts of my life and give me hope that people with emotional, physical and quirkiness really do shine brightest. Who needs ‘normal?’

I have enjoyed every book in this series. They are laugh out loud funny. You just have to root for the man and team.
You have the main female character with her friends/family and they just suck you up in their world.
Pippa Grant is an outstanding author. She brings humor, protectors, just plain fun to immerse yourself in.
I have even reread a few of her books yes they are that good. Highly suggest you pickup her books.

Pippa Grant is an outstanding author. She brings humor, protectors, just plain fun to immerse yourself in.
I have even reread a few of her books yes they are that good. Highly suggest you pickup her books.

This is a great box set of Pippa Grant’s Copper Valley Thrusters books 3-5. Each book is amazing with just the right narrators. Though my favorite story was I Pucking Love You. You have to love a hot mess, curvy, klutzy heroine (plus Emma Wilder and Aiden Snow does an amazing job as Muffy and Tyler). You will enjoy all the fun and romance with this box set.

Audible Audiobook
The narration is good. Emma Wilder sounds very chaotic, which is great for the character, not so much for the reader. Listen to I Pucking Love You a little slower than I did (2.2). Come to think about it, Felicity’s narrator (Virginia Rose) was chaotic as well.

Loved the series, the characters, their time on and off the ice and the laughs that ensue when brawn meets beauty. Feisty female characters with quirks are my favorite jam and you can’t go wrong with testosterone laden men with muscles on skates. Ares and Felicity, Nick and Kami and Tyler and Muffy are characters I will remember for a very long time.

Loved this series so I'm totally jealous there's a box set now. I read these originally out of sequence. Then bought them all on audio and started from book 1!

Enjoy the stories
I liked the stories. The humor was good and the stories interesting. The hockey players were fun. The group of woman friends were good. the match making was out there. Like she was making a living doing this based on nothing.

Better than the first 3!
Love this whole series but books 3-5 are even better IMHO than the origin series. Aries and Felicity are one of my favorite couples on all of Copper Valley. You can't go wrong with any of these, they are so sweet, funny, endearing and yes - hot and steamy!

I love Pippa Grant's hockey series! Each book in this series stands alone but it is hard to put them down once you start! Pippa never fails to make me laugh multiple times while I am reading. Kudos to the author for leaving this reader with a smile on her face!

Love this series
This is the type of book series that you just never want to end. The stories are all unique and fabulous on their own. The cast of characters is funtastic fun and like coming home to friends with every edition.

Definitely recommend. It's over-the-top and funny with all the feels. I have not read anything by Pippa Grant that I didn't enjoy.

All three books are charming, hilarious and highly entertaining- never a dull moment. I listened to them on audible, the narration was great. Great series.
