Reading 2025 Book 169: Uncorked Murder: An Utterly Uncorked Book by Marie Mackenzie
Read this book on my Kindle. My IRL book club is having the author come to hang out with us in September. Fun fact, I taught with the author in middle school back in the day. Was so excited to read her first book.
Synopsis: A Cozy Mystery Full of Wine, Whimsy, and Whodunits. Will Clara uncover the truth before the killer strikes again? Pour yourself a glass and find out in this gripping first installment of the Utterly Uncorked series!
Review: A fun first installment in the Uncorked series. The main character had grit in starting her own business and guts to follow the leads to find a killer. The supporting characters were also good ones, and I hope there is an expansion of their stories in the next book. Looking forward to the discussion with the author and hearing all her insights into the book. Love this cover, and want that dog to come live with me.
This is a fabulous small town cozy murder story. The character development is wonderful. I felt like I was in that small town the details were so clear. Amazing 1st book for Marie. Looking forward to the next book!!
