Ugh... another cliffhanger!
Her writing is wonderful in how she weaves intrigue, action, comedy, romance and steamy sex all in a riveting series. But these cliffhanger endings have got mey blood pressure skyrocketing!!!
Note to self: Make sure the ENTIRE SERIES. is done before you get hooked and have to wait months before the next book drop.

Addictive...but
I truly love KW books!!! She is one of my top 3 favs in her genre😍😍😍. Her series are addictive because she knows how to write well thought out stories, awesome alpha male MC and strong black FMC that are smart, spicy, fierce and written as beautiful in all shapes, sizes, shades, etc.
We pick up with the continuation of Lei and Monique's story, they are becoming a favorite couple. Duck and Chen continue to add comic relief, but KW has added Jo, Banks, the aunties, and Dima is baaaack with their personalities and all their hilarity. They had me dying laughing throughout the book, as usual, without taking away from the main story. However, the one pet peeve I have with KW series is that a whole long 400-500pg book may cover 2-3 days or just one event. It feels like so much happens unrealistically in a day or 2. Good writing, but it never make sense that there may be 16 deaths, a funeral, party, kidnapping, a formal ball...all in one day🙄. But I still can't wait for the next book....which will be Lei and Monique's story...but I will want to see Duck and Chen's story too after this.

Effing Leo!
Just when you start to like the psychopath, he goes and makes you want to reach through the book and karate chop him in the throat! Man oh man!
This book kept me enthralled from page 1 to page 494! I promised myself I would pace because I needed the next book to be readily available when I finished this one... Yeah, that didn't happen!
I'm not sure how Dima will recover from this, but it'll be an interesting journey to go through with him. Something also tells me that Einstein will be the new leader in no time. It's a role he's definitely suited for. I'm rooting for the Killer Crows to get their due just that they deserve!
All the talk about the lake and the treasure and puzzle had me thinking heavily about Black Wall Street. We just can't catch a break! Yet, we continue to persevere with a smile, and head held high.

Lei and Moni
Oh my goodness what a ride.. Leo is insane he has plans for their future he stays twenty steps ahead of everyone..The random surprises have me on the edge of my seat…Banks is funny and deadly when it comes to his cousin Moni and her sisters the cookout is a success despite minor infractions…Lei almost lost his cool several times but his love pulled him back in..The aunts are funny and deadly..Dima is in the house and his lady love.. Marcelo aka Marcy and RSM is in the house..The cook off was a hit and the DJ mixed it up quite nicely every one is grooving and enjoying the food and festivities..Now the kicker Leo and Song show up.. I can’t wait for the next installment.. So many elements and layers of excitement, love,intrigue and death…What a ride…

The Jones girls are back!!!
Ok. This next book in the series had me feeling all kinds of emotions. The cookout!!! Snaps, claps, and pure joy when experiencing that part of the story. I literally felt like I was there. It also really felt like a time of natural transition and a resetting of fractured relationships.
I loved the girls coming back. And TT and Dima! I feel like they are going to be two peas in a pod. Btw - I absolutely love TT. I can't wait to see how she evolves.
This series is so good, and even more so, it still takes me back to my other favs the Killer Crows, with the Jones family and Dream Lake. This book is fantastic and it's a great addition to the series!

Moni and Lei are still about 5 steps behind Leo.
They are aeare that he is playing a game, but still unprepared for his moves.
The sisters are now in the East and the aunties are doing yheir best to spoil them. Jo is like naaah, you noy gonna swindle me and it tryimg to keep tgem all at atms length.
All the men in Moni's life still don't see her strength and understand that she is where she wants to be.
Lei's patience is still being tested and he is doing all he can to be whipped in the name of love.
The cookout and Chen's altered state is a moment of laughter. This cookout has everyine so laid back that they forgot a game was being played.

LAYERS UPON LAYERS!!
I’ve been hooked on this story since Dima and I’m riding it to the end! Ms. Wright introduced us to this world of complicated factions that make you admire and be terrified of them at the same time. I mean anxiety, laughter, fear, it’s a never ending cycle of emotions! Lei and Monique are from two different worlds trying to navigate love, duty and family in this 4th installment and I’m honestly not looking forward to the end. Read the series, it won’t disappoint!

Exhilarating 💗💗🔥🔥🔥
I loved Sweet Dominion the twists and revelations and the love growing between Lei and Moni is infectious. The beginning just reels you in and the shock value was off the hook. Delving more into every persona was awesome. Not being able to predict the outcome left me anxious at times. Now I'm on the edge of my seat and can't wait for the next book to be released.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them!
I love this series, I love how hard the men in K.W books love. They might be a little psycho, a little possessive, a little dangerous but a whole lot Alpha Male and I’m here for it all!! I love the story line, the characters and can’t wait to reread the Dima’s story.

I'm finally up to the final, final Vellas!
I slowed down my reading of book four so I can already have the book five to keep reading straight through. I am excited and anxious at the same time. Can Leo get any more depraved than he already is? Probably so but I'm right here for it! Okay, I'm going in....

🥰❤️🥳👍🏾🥵🔥 The big get together before chaos! This fourth installment was joyous, funny, sometimes laugh out loud funny! Chen got to relax and release. Dima always a joy but even he surprised me and made me laugh. Will be sad when the story ends

It’s still a good read but some of the scenes and dialogue were unnecessarily prolonged. I found myself wanting it to hurry up and end. Regardless, I am interested in reading how this all wraps up.

This series is definitely entertaining. I did find that the chapters about the bbq lasted way too long. 😩The ending was definitely unexpected though, and am interested to see how the series is wrapped up — if this is in fact the end of the series.

beach episode
You know in anime’s when there is a beach episode that does nothing to progress the plot but it’s just a fun break in the story, that was this book. Still fun!

Honestly this one was something it had its full moments but still a overall good read more of a let’s have joy before the storm
