Samantha went to Luminary Luxury to get a job and she end up having to take over someone’s presentation that had just left the job.. Needless to say that is where she meet the owner of Luminary Luxury by mistake.. she had no clue that who he was… This is where the story gets interesting and let’s just say you have to read it to find out… you are going to enjoy the experience and moments that are going to take place.. I was pleasantly surprised by this story…
I will tell you this Eric Blake the CEO of Luminary Luxury is going to make you hate him.. and fall in love with him at the same time.. ALSO!!! Not great
There were too many time jumps and the story was rushed. Things that should have been a chapter or two were just skipped, like when she met his mom for the first time, finds out about his brother and they have some kind of "disastrous" meal but it skips from them arriving at the dinner to it already over and never talk about what happened.
They say she will move in after the engament but apparently meant after the wedding. So after they are engaged your not really sure if they did and that was another missing scene or they didn't.
It says she lives in a modest apartment but somehow has a nanny that is cool with her working until after 8 one night, 2:30pm on another and mentions she is always working late. (Even before the contract).
She supposedly moved for her daughter who is hardly in the book at all between the nanny and grandmother watching her, she has probably seen her daughter about 3 times during the whole book.

This was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Samantha and Eric was a ruthless CEO who was very damaged and could she be falling for him in this moment. Could she tamed this CEO and make him fallen in love with her right now. They couldn't fight the temptation any longer as the sexual tension is rising between them in a romance due to a fake marriage that is on the line. He started to acted difference with her and around other people.

He is not only her boss but now he wants her to be his fake wife to stave off his mother’s repeated attempts to marry him off. On top of that the discovery that his brother is her ex causes a slew of problems. It’s all just for show or is it more than a contractual agreement? Lots of twists and turns in this one. Also lots of hurt and healing. Loved it. I gave it 4 stars because the ending was rushed and it felt like there was a bit more that could have been shared at the end to give it proper closure.

Sam moved to LA to get a fresh start. She is hired by Eric the CEO to run the department at his family business. Sam and Eric have a rocky beginning. There is sexual tension developing between these two when he contracts Sam to fake date and marry him to get his mom off his back. I really like these characters together. I devoured this book in one sitting! It really held my interest. There was romance, drama, suspense and lots of spice. I highly recommend it.

Samantha is in a new town looking to rebrand herself and start anew. She gets a job with Eric but it starts off rocky, but the sparks are there between them. It gets even more heated when he asked her to be his fake wife, and it starts a path that is filled with unexpected twists and turns that kept me caught up in this story.

Samantha moved to a new town for a fresh start and thrived in her new role. She and Eric didn't see eye to eye at the beginning, but I think the moment they had when the power went out changed that! This was a quick read for me and was really good. Fake marriages can be so fun, I love watching them fall in love with each other. I was not a fan of Cole and was not a fan of how he treated her though!

So, whether you are needing to start a new book just yet or not trust me when I say that you need and should be reading this romance book now instead of later. The storyline and characters are captivating and full heat that are going to warm you up and keep you there until you hit the ending of this book.

This quick, fast-paced read got devoured!! I had the opportunity for another arc read by Ella, and I have to say this one is my favorite so far. I loved Eric and Samantha's story. The tension was so good. I will definitely recommend it.

Enjoyable read
I liked this new love story by Ella Ashton. Eric and Samantha's journey is bumpy but interesting. Brother Cole is a real jerk and a good villain. My only criticism is the very abrupt ending.

I liked the forbidden billionaire’s contract which was Eric and Samantha’s story. The characters had great chemistry. It was an entertaining, drama filled read. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.

The story started off slowly and only dipped from there. The
female lead was tiresome and trust me, I'm being nice. I was disappointed because I love her other books that I read, but this one seemed a little forced.

The main female is supposed to be doing this for her daughter who she loves so much, BUT the whole book is written as if she has no daughter. Working all night at the office, going away on business trips, etc. The daughter is only mentioned two or three times in the whole book. I didn't buy it.

Billionaire, workplace, spicy, it is a good read not super long had a couple unexpected moments if this sounds like something you like I definitely recommend it.
