Aurora Watson, in pursuit of a man to satisfy her deepest, unspoken desires, unexpectedly finds him in the most alluring form—an infamous erotic photographer whose voice alone sends shivers down her spine, leaving her trembling with anticipation. Enter Lucas Black, commonly referred to as Mr. Black, a man whose presence is as mysterious as his choice of attire, which is exclusively black. His expressions are unreadable, not due to a lack of emotion but because he chooses not to display them. Misunderstood as stoic, he remains indifferent to others' perceptions. Known for his commanding aura, he rarely reveals more. However, one woman's allure has thrown him off balance, her provocativeness stirring an undeniable attraction that disrupts his composure.
After a few sentences I knew I would have to push myself to finish this. I’m proud to say I made it past chapter one, the weird authors note and 4 pages into chapter 2.
I can’t really describe this in any other way but to say that it’s obviously written by someone who doesn’t speak English as a first language and still they did not opt for an editor or proofreader. You can get the gist of some of it but it takes a lot of re-reading most sentences which negates the experience of escaping into a book for enjoyment, the unfolding of the characters and storyline.
