Some trials are fought in court. Others burn everything down.
Sheriff Rebecca West knows she’s being watched. She’s seen the same car parked along the road—always at a distance, always watching. Even more concerning, the man with damning evidence against the senator tied to her parents’ deaths claims he’s being followed too.
Something’s very wrong…again.
But she doesn’t have time to worry about all that because she’s staring at a blazing inferno on the shores of Shadow Island—where a boat sits perched atop a car, both engulfed in flames. The wreck is baffling. The boat must have hit land at full speed, launching into the parking lot before exploding. But why didn’t it slow down? And more chillingly—why is the man at the helm already dead, stabbed before the crash?
This isn’t just an accident. It’s a message.
With half the puzzle pieces missing and the other half reduced to ash, Rebecca and her team must fight fire with fire, all while watching her back as the past closes in. Because a cornered man with nothing left to lose isn’t just the most dangerous thing on the planet—he won’t go down alone. He’ll take everyone with him.

SHADOW’S COLLISION is the ninteenth installment in the Shadow Island Series by the team of Mary Stone and Lori Rhodes. You'll have a hard time setting this roller coaster ride of suspenseful, chilling book down for even a few minutes.
This action-packed packed story starts with a lone fisherman and a murder will have you glued to your seat in the first chapter. Then immediatly swept to a fiery boat crashing to shore with a dead body aboard. Sheriff Rebecca West and her deputies are sent on a chilling chase for clues leading to the person
launching burning boats at Shadow Island. They will be find obsession, madness and more bodies.
This book is full of suspense and intrigue and I highly recommend it.
I did receive an ARC of this book from the author, and this is my freely given and honest review. I recommend this book and the entire series.
I do agree with others, this series would make a great TV series.
I was happy to see the newest Shadow Island book. Rebecca West is Shadow Islands Sheriff. Her deputy's had become her family and they would protect her as she would protect each one of them. Shadows Collision is about Friends, Boats, Fires, Accidents, Islands and Crime. While investigating a boat wreck and a murder Sheriff West and her Deputies get to meet some very interesting people. With a promise to return the next day the Sheriff regrets that she didn't stay longer or have someone stay with the Owner of Deerskin Island. And Rebecca, her youngest Deputy Vivianne, her oldest Deputy Hoyt and everyone in between were searching their minds to figure out the Who & Why would someone do what was done.
I love this Series, the characters become friends you can check on when the new book comes out.
Shadow Island and Sheriff West and her deputies never get a break, even around Christmas. While Sheriff West has observed a car stalking her with DC plates, a boat rams into the park landing on a car and bursts into flames. Rebecca realizes there is a person on the boat; however, the person was already dead before impact from stab wounds. While investigating this, another similar incident happens this time with two dead people on the boat. This is an action-packed story with the deputies (and reader) being led to believe they have a suspect only to find this to be false. The reasons behind the murderer committing these crimes is so sad.
Who is the killer? I'm a fan of this series and I really like Sheriff Rebecca West. That being said, this book did not disappoint. Someone is killing people, putting them in their boats, setting them on fire, and launching them toward Shadow Island. The plot is good and leads you down a rabbit hole. The action is amazing and once again Sheriff West stands up to evil. Heartbreak and tragedy can change you. It definitely did the real killer in this very action-packed novel. Good book and good read.
Shadow Island, nice place to live now that Rebecca and her team have exposed the escapades of the Yacht Club. She is still getting the feeling she is being watched by someone, and when she sees a strange car parked near her home she’s confident she is right, but who is it? Meanwhile a bazaar boat accident has her team busy. There is one person on board who is dead, and likely was before the collision. Lots happening here, great story
A quiet time before Christmas is disturbed by a boat hitting the shore at full speed landing on a parked vehicle and exploding into a fiery mess. Rebecca and crew help put it out only to discover a body that had been stabbed to death repeatedly. While investigating this crime another boat appears also manned by dead people causing a fiery explosion. Who is doing this? And why?
Sherif Rebecca West thinks she is being watched by a DC vehicle, but before she can make sure she is thrown into another case. Burning boats with dead bodies are launched onto the shores of her beach town. Can Rebecca & her team find out where the boats are coming from & who sent them? The rush is on. Don’t miss this one, you won’t be disappointed!
Love Mary Stone and her creativity! Teaming up with Lori Rhodes for the Shadow Island series is a win-win! In Shadow’s Collision Sheriff Rebecca West and her team continue to have drama and trauma thrown at them by the authors. This book is suspenseful with non-stop action. One of the best in this series! Highly recommend!!
I just flew thro this today. It really kept me lined to my seat. The way the story is written just flows. The characters in the Shadow Island police force are one of a kind, sound like great people and great officers. I hope its not too long until the next book comes out.
This is book nineteen in the Shadow Island FBI Mystery series. It’s action packed and full of drama. Sheriff Rebecca West has to find the person(or persons) killing people, putting them in their boats and setting them on fire. Meanwhile, is she being stalked? A roller coaster ride of suspense. A must-read.
Shadow's Collision is the 19th book in the Shadow Island Series by Mary Stone. In this book sheriff Rebecca West and her crew need to solve the mystery of 2 boats that are sent to the island on fire with dead people in them. It also appears that Rebecca is being watched and followed bv a black car with DC license plates. The book is full of suspense and I would highly recommend it.
A new great Shadow Island book by Mary Stone and Lori Rhodes that had me hooked from the first page to the last. It was another edge of your seat page turner. Love these characters. Can't wait until the next one in the series. I am an ARC member and this is my honest review.
Shadow's Collision(Shadow Island FBI Mystery Series Book 19)
OMG!!!!!!!!!! This book was over the top amazing, I loved every minute of it. This one had murder, mayham, and boat explosions. It was truly crazy. I can't wait to read the next book.
This was a great story about Rebecca and team to find out who is killing people that got near a island and why and finding out who in the end with lots of suspense and action and putting their lives on the line to solve it. Thank you for this excellent story.
OMG. This is a great exciting book. Loved it. Can't wait till the next book comes out.. I know the next will be just as good. This book was full of suspense and intrigue. I highly recommend this book
I enjoyed every word of this book. The characters are so life-like that they now feel like old friends. The plot is intriguing with just the right amount of twists. I am already excited about the next book in this series.
This book kept you guessing about the killer. Rebecca had her job cut out for her with fire. Someone sending fiery boats toward shore, but why. This is a great series that gets better with each book.
A small town Sheriff being harassed by a politician. A man with a tragic past takes aim at machines and people, murdering people in a most horrific way.
A thriller with the twist of compassion and continuing intrigue
I particularly enjoyed this journey in the series..only children know more than anyone, the comfort and loneliness of being alone..this story is so similar to that fabric of our lives.
A burning, out of control boat jumps over the shore onto a parking lot, destroying a car, causing an out of control conflagration. The one anomalous finding is the dead man at the helm - obviously dead long before the boat hit the parked car.
This is one takes turns that are really unnecessary in my opinion. I really want to know who stalking the Sheriff and not chase tales of the unknown. Hoping the next one gives some answers
This action packed novel has sheriff Rebecca West and her team pitted against men who have nothing left to loose. Never a dull moment in this novel with continuously mounting tension. The same great characters who have been in the Shadow Island series.
I loved this book just like all the rest in the series!! I have grown to love all the main characters!! Ms. Stone can weave so many stories into one!! I wish there were many more books in this collection!
Someone is killing driver's on their boats then setting them on fire a d sending them crashing to the shores of Shadow Island. Each crash is bigger each time. Can Sheriff West solve this mystery before a other boat hits?
