Rebecca’s quiet life is upended when a figure from her past resurfaces, dragging her back into a world she tried to escape. This fast-paced psychological thriller is packed with cult dynamics, manipulation, and suspense—no slow parts, just pure tension.

The cult leader’s behavior was chillingly realistic, especially for anyone familiar with narcissistic or toxic personalities. It’s gripping, entertaining, and even insightful.

Perfect for fans of Sara Shepard and readers who enjoy dark, twisty thrillers with emotional depth.

Holy moly, what a fantastic, breathtaking ride this book is! From the prologue chapter to the last page, this story twists and turns and delivers a story that unfortunately is very familiar to real-life cult survivors. Very similar to the stories coming out of the NXIVM cult community. This book delivers an extraordinarily gut-wrenching, thrilling and suspenseful story of deception and survival.

This book was such a waste of time. Has potential to be so good, but it was such a let down.

Pretty dark cult happenings, which is signature for cults. Should probably come with a trigger warning. Good amount of suspense and fairly satisfying when all is said & done.

I did enjoy the book towards the end. But I found the build up to be lacking a little bit. The idea was great.

To be or not to be isn’t the question. It’s why do men? Because wtf was the cult leader.
