While babies aren't the only ones who love sports, this board book [2.5 for me!] is intended to help little ones learn the names of various sports, including baseball, bowling, and swimming. There are two photographs for each sport with parents or caregivers nearby in several of them. Little ones could identify the sport, and with help from others, describe the contents of the photographs as well as comparing the images to the actual sports equipment that might be found at home. I would have liked to see a bit more diversity in the images.

We have ping pong but not golf? We have tennis with no tennis ball?
