This is a good history of Seattle’s Central District, told through art and interviews with long-time or long-ago residents. Highlights include the importance of Sunday dinner and all the good that the Black Panthers did. The end was sad about neighbors not connected anymore. “I haven’t been able to become close or very involved with new neighbors. I see them out walking their dogs. Well, no one wants to go walking with an old lady.”
