This book wasn't exactly what I expected. I expected a full on history of the team but instead got a deep dive into the five Super Bowl teams the Giants have produced. Some details somehow got missed, including a lot of getting scores of games wrong, but it was an enjoyable read and even a lifelong fan like myself got some surprises. I had not known that Jeff Hostetler won the NFC title and Super Bowl on a torn ACL, for instance. It was also good to see the 2000 team get some love, despite the Super Bowl loss, because that was a fun team to watch. Any fan of the Giants who wants to dig into the great moments of the team we love will find a lot of good stories here.
