I really enjoyed how Ventura broke down the various considerations of evangelism in this book. I especially appreciated the chapter on our motive for evangelism. I was encouraged and challenged as I read, and walked away with an increased eagerness to share the gospel, which is precisely what should result from reading a book on this topic.

An excellent work for new Christians or believers stuck in a rut.

3.5. Decent introduction to evangelism. Basically a series of sermons (some topical, some expositional) on the theological underpinnings for biblical evangelism plus some discussion questions. At times it reads like a commentary, but it is rich with biblical support.
Summary: All people need the gospel. So, all people need to be evangelized. And we all need to be involved, for God’s glory and man’s good. People are the means God uses to save sinners. Some will accept it. Some will reject it. But our evangelism is always successful if we faithfully share the biblical gospel. We need the Holy Spirit to do this.
