The plan was to collect everything I could on the Bonetti Brothers and take them down. As an Assistant District Attorney, I wanted to keep the community safe from this mafia family. More than that, I was looking for revenge. Little did I know the way the tables would turn. I didn’t see him coming. The man with the nickname that matches him to a ’T’. If he finds out the secret I'm hiding, he'll end me quickly. Massimo Bonetti was my first crush, but now he’s the enemy.
The only thing worse than a random person coming after them is someone they once trusted.
Pretty little lamb you should not have come into the wolf’s den.
She wanted to know more about the Bonetti Brothers. Her wish is my command. The pretty little counselor will learn firsthand that you do not fuck with us.
One, two, Psycho is coming for you. Three, four, your blood will coat my floor. Five, six, you’ll beg to live. Seven, eight, it’s too late. Nine, ten, scream for me again.
Anastasia Crowne, the young ADA, wants to destroy everything we’ve built. She’s an eager little lamb that walked into the wolf’s den. This wolf is hungry. Famished. She’ll be mine to torture for weeks, if not months. When I get bored, it’ll be over for her.
I hate talking about myself. I'm awkward AF and write super spicy books with twisty plots. Most of my books are dark romance so always check the content warnings!
Psycho ended up being my favorite story of the four, even though Bones is still my favorite brother.
What really worked for me here was the history between them. She comes from such a hard past, and I thought she was written really well because it made their connection actually make sense. Captive romance is usually a hard sell for me, especially when the FMC ends up falling for the man holding her, but somehow this entire series made that dynamic work for me four different times. These relationships all start off completely unacceptable and wrong, and yet by the end I believed every single one of them.
The pacing never slowed down. I was sucked into the story the whole time, the narration was phenomenal, keeping up with the pace and tone, and the smut was absolutely smutting.
I’m kinda sad this is the end of the brothers because I loved every one of their stories. They were all completely fucking unhinged in their own way, and apparently that was exactly what I needed.
I recommend this for dark mafia romance readers who like captive romance, completely unhinged MMCs, messy relationships that somehow make perfect sense for the people in them, and a series where the family becomes just as addictive as the individual couples.
This is the 4th book in the Bonetti brothers series, and it did not dissapoint. If you are a lover of dark romance, Chelle Rose is the girl for you. This series has a lot of triggers so please check before reading.
My favourite has always been Bones, but I knew Psycho would be just as good and he did not dissapoint. Massimo, lives up to his name Psycho, tattooed and pierced, what more could a girl want, but he is absolutely everything and more!! I loved all the emotions that came with this book, I did not want it to end.
Psycho despite being the eldest of the brothers, he is not head of the family due to him being the brightest of red flags. Psycho does what he wants, and that includes kidnapping ADA Anastasia with plans to torture and kill. Anastasia has a axe to grind against the Bonetti brothers due to a deep trauma both mentally and physically that has seen leave her with plenty of deep-rooted scars.
There are twists, but can Psycho overcome everything and show his love towards his little lamb!
You have never seen enemies to lovers play out like this before, you will be putting out fires continuously with the spice in this book.
One, two, Psycho is coming for you. Three, four, your blood will coat my floor. Five, six, you'll beg to live. Seven, eight, it's too late. Nine, ten, scream for me again.

Thank you @chellerosedarkromanceauthor for allowing me to read and review Psycho, I can't wait for the Bonetti Sons series!
Just like the title suggests, Psycho or Massimo Bonneti is a damn psycp. Yes he’s possessive and controlling and also kidnaps her with the intention of killing her. But that’s all stuff I’ve read before, no he is next level psycho. So here’s your warning he almost sells her… like to a trafficker. But he doesn’t though, and he does regret it, but it’s been mentioned in the book, that doesn’t make it right. He really tested my limits but I did grow to love him. This plot was good, we got a feisty lawyer girl who wants revenge on the Bonettis and in turn gets kidnapped by one of the brothers, Psycho. Definitely darker than your typical Stockholm syndrome romance. A whole bunch of triggers and kinks like blood play, knife play, primal play and lots of noncon at the start. And a forced master x slave dynamic. Had a bunch of mafia stuff, like of course Anastasia has pissed off this other mafia guy. Lots of descriptive torture scenes too. It was pretty tense, with the enemies to lovers, but they do have a history which I like. One thing I hate and love is the mmc being like “I can’t love, I’m incapable” and it breaks the fmcs heart. It’s pretty well used in dark romance but breaks my heart everytime. I did like Anastasia, she does have a very dark past and it’s very sad seeing her bend to his will. But it’s also hot and I loved watching them fall for each other. A really good mafia captive x captor I give it a ⅘
Let’s talk about what was possible my second favorite Bonetti Brothers book. Because Psycho was everything I wanted out of a dark mafia romance. If you don’t know about this series, this is the final book of four Mafia Brothers named Bones, Reaper, Kage and Psycho, the Bonetti’s. Each book follows a different brother but they all appear in each other’s books. Now on to Psycho, the oldest. I absolutely loved his story with Anastasia and just his background in general. Psycho was born and raised to be the new leader of the family obviously due to being the oldest, but along the way his father realized he would ruin the family with the way he handles things. Quick overview, this book picks up a month before the end of Kage’s book. But our FMC is Anastasia who have a very close history with the Bonetti family, but something happened that cause her to hate the family. Now she is a ADA and is trying to put all the brothers in jail, but she made a mistake in Kage that leads to her being captured in Psycho. Now the history and tension between Anastasia and Psycho is so freaking good! I love the way Chelle did their story with this second chance romance, you just have to read or listen to upset it. I also loved the narrators through this Sean Masters was who I wanted to voice Psycho so badly so was so happy when Chelle and Blue Nose revealed that he was the narrator. This was my first audiobook with Blair Thatcher, and she hit a freaking home run with her narration of Anastasia. She brought so much to this character and I can never heard anyone else but her at Anastasia. Thank you so much again to Blue Nose for the audio and thank you so much Chelle Rose for creating these characters and I can’t wait for her new series following the Bonetti Family!
Anastasia Crowne (Hadley Amici) has tunnel vision to revenge on the Bonetti brothers for the death of her father. She’s been through so much trauma and loss in her life.
Massimo Bonetti, aka Psycho, was tortured as a child—though his father called it ‘training’—and, as a result, has grown indifferent to the cries of terror and pain while obtaining the information he needs. When he takes Anastasia he doesn’t know her true identity—that she’s a part of his past.
This book is so good! At first you want to hate Massimo/Psycho, the next thing you know, you want to be his girl. With Anastasia/Hadley’s resiliency and strength shining through more every day, Massimo/Psycho finds his original goal to kill her faltering, and a need to keep her growing in its place.
You’ll find every ‘feel’ you’ve ever known within the pages of this book. Sexy times are aplenty—please note there are some graphic non consensual and straight up R ape scenes—cruel bad guys in this book. Mind the triggers. This is a well written book.

The is my second Chelle Rose book and I immediately fell for Psycho. This man is everything. He is a walking red flag that’s covered in muscles and tattoos. He also has a piercing kink. But does the man have a sweet side? He’s a bit sweet on Anastasia when he’s plotting domination in her honor.
Anastasia is the Assistant District Attorney who is dead set on bringing the Bonetti Brothers down. She has a sad past, but she is determined to get vengeance.
Loved the appearance of whole family!
Thanks for the ARC!
I was lucky enough to get the ARC of this book, and now I have listened to the ALC. When a book becomes audio, it becomes more immersive. That is exactly what happened with this one!

Sean Masters is amazing in his craft! I love him as Psycho. His voice fits in perfectly for the character. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of hearing Blair Thatcher and she blew me out of the water! I loved her in this role!
Thanks Chelle and BNA for letting me have the ALC.
Dark, intense, and addictive 🔥 Psycho by Chelle Rose delivers a gritty mafia romance packed with tension, danger, and undeniable chemistry. What really stands out is how complex Psycho’s character is, he’s ruthless and unpredictable on the surface, but there are layers of vulnerability and depth that slowly unfold as the story progresses. That contrast makes him both terrifying and fascinating to watch. If you love morally gray antiheroes, high-stakes tension, and dark romance with serious character depth, this one will hook you fast. 🖤 I Loved this addition to the Bonetti Brothers series! I will read or listen to anything from this author.
The voice actors were amazing!!! I LOVE Sean Masters & Blair Thatcher. 🚨 Definitely check your TRIGGERS🚨 because this is DARK and UNHINGED !
-forced proximity -🩸play -enemies to lovers -tortur€ -piercings 👀 And many more.
What did I just read??? Psycho is a real psychopath! This is hands down the craziest brother, and if you’ve read the first three books, you know they were crazy as hell! I mean, he’s a real sociopath, sadist, unhinged…
Anastasia is an Assistant District Attorney determined to bring the Bonetti brothers down. It’s a personal vendetta. She has her own dark secrets. After failing to flip Raina—Kage’s woman—to her side, she decides to get her hands dirty. But she never imagined she’d end up in the hands of Psycho—Massimo— the definition of crazy!!!!
Massimo, nicknamed Psycho by his father, is the firstborn and was meant to be the head of the family. But since he’s so, so out of control, that role went to his brother Bones—Luca. At first, Psycho does horrible, unimaginable things to Anastasia. Then something shifts, and he can’t let her go… even more so when he learns about her past, which comes back to haunt her.
I don’t know how Chelle Rose does it!!! She always starts with heavy stuff—things you can’t even fathom or think are possible. Then mid-book, something changes. Things slow down, and feelings start to grow. And you can’t help but love those men- and women!!! Crazy, dark killers who don’t care about consequences. They only care about family.
This was a crazy read. I had conflicted emotions. Actually, no—I felt every emotion known to man in this book. Shocked. Disgusted. Intrigued. Sad. Angry at him for not acknowledging his feelings. I even laughed at a particular scene. I felt pain for her… I don’t think a single book has ever made me feel so many things at once. Well done, Chelle. A great last book in this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Emotional whiplash, questionable morals, and an aggressively hot felon sign me up.
If loving a tattooed kidnapper with a piercing kink is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
So here we are, the grand finale of the Bonetti Brothers series, and Chelle Rose decided to end it with a bang literally and figuratively. Psycho (yes, that’s his name, and yes, it fits perfectly) is a walking red flag wrapped in muscle, tattoos, and enough emotional whiplash to file a personal injury claim.
Our heroine Anastasia? She’s an assistant district attorney with a thirst for vengeance, a tragic backstory, and absolutely no time for nonsense. Except, surprise! Nonsense is tall, tattooed, emotionally volatile, and very into non-consensual body modification. If this man kidnapped me, I'd say "thank you?" and then spiral into deep, confusing brooding.
Let’s talk about Psycho for a second because this man has range. One minute he's brooding, grumbling, threatening to slice someone (or actually slicing someone), and the next he’s cradling Anastasia like she’s spun sugar and whispering sweet nothings while planning world domination in her honor. He’s basically three men in a trench coat: Angry, Soft, and Horny. It’s giving multiple personality plot twist and I was here for every mood swing. I didn’t know whether to run or swoon. Naturally, I swooned. Repeatedly.
The enemies-to-lovers tension? Unmatched. The trauma? Heavy. The spice? Hot enough to burn your Kindle. We’re talking spice levels where your morals go on vacation and your standards start negotiating with your hormones.
Bonus points for the appearances from the other Bonetti brothers and their partners love that chaotic family reunion energy. Max and his crew pop in too, just to remind us that this world is filled with emotionally damaged men who somehow make Stockholm Syndrome look like foreplay.
Psycho is dark, twisted, spicy as hell, and packed with enough emotional rollercoaster moments to throw your composure into chaos. You’ll laugh, cry, fan yourself, and then seriously question your life choices.
Check those trigger warnings, kiss your morals goodbye, and enjoy the ride.
"One, two, Psycho is coming for you. Three, four, your blood will coat my floor. Five, six, you’ll beg to live. Seven, eight, it’s too late. Nine, ten, scream for me again."
♡Chelle did it again with the Bonetti Brothers! I devoured this book in one sitting while staying up way past my bedtime because I could not stop listening! I love every single one of the Bonetti Brothers but if someone asked me to choose one Psycho would be who I'm choosing!
The duet narration for this audiobook was absolute perfection! Blair & Sean did an impeccable job bringing Anastasia & Psycho to life. The emotions that they brought out in this performance were chill-inducing!
If you love dark mafia romances with an amazing plot, unhinged MCS & top-notch spice all of which will have you questioning your morals look no further! The Bonetti Brothers would love to meet you.♡
Psycho: Bonetti Brothers #4 By Chelle Rose Blue Nose Publishing 09/01/26 5⭐️ 4🌶️ 🔘Dark Romance 🔘Mafia Romance 🔘Crime
Introducing the Bonetti family. Successful and powerful mafia family with four insanely gorgeous brothers who are each messed up in their own way.
DA Anastasia Crown plans to take down the Bonetti empire. But I’ll bet her plans did not include a run in with Psycho (Massimo). He kidnaps and tortures her until he realizes one thing…she is not who she pretends to be and they know each other quite well.
This enemies to lovers plays out much differently than the traditional type. Especially once Psycho realizes who she really is. Psycho who is incapable of love is fighting caring for her as well as fighting his own demons.
Excellent series finale! Psycho is definitely an interesting character. Excellent narration and story!
Thank you to Blue Nose Audio for providing me with an advanced listening copy in exchange for my honest review.

This book is incredible I absolutely love psycho yes he’s an asshole. Yes, he does questionable unhinged things but holy moly he’s hot.
I don’t want to give too much away as the shock factor is so worth it.. enemies to lovers trope is really good in this book they really hate each other but the angst the chemistry is absolutely spot on…
I’m sad that this series has ended and psycho is my favourite…
This book is incredibly dark. Please check your trigger warnings.
I hated this like I was in for an fmc who will be strong and be able to retaliate again the mmc. She was just a doormat and I really don’t how she fell in love with him.
Also the plot was so stupid like she believed her ex husband that her father was killed by the bonneti family.
The most disgusting was the mmc sold her. Like what was that rule against human trafficking. He should have suffered more like he barely suffered. He should have been tortured.
The fmc deserved better. Even the fact that she said love you to him so many times and he never did until once.
I hated this book and it has made me irked like I know this dark romance but I expected her powerful and conving fmc.
I mean I feel like the mmc who claimed she was his in childhood was just so cringe. Like was her hers though considering he was a manwhore and never thought to look for her. I still don’t see how the fmc claimed to love her. I feel bad for she went though but she deserves better.
Also I have seen a trend with the author: - The mmc wants to kill the fmc - He hurts her her until he realises he is in love - The fmc who is doormat will just submit to him because of body betraying or he did something humane - she gets rapped by someone other then fmc (this has been a common thread) - He brings her back and they kill the assailant - He tells her he loves and she tells she loves him and they have a baby together - so the fmc forgave the mmc for everthing. This is literally majority of her plot of her books. Why doesn’t the author show an fmc who cages the mmc or gets actual revenge. I liked the second book because fmc was someone like that like she becames a serial killer.

Chelle Rose, my dear, what did you do to me!? You absolutely hooked me, that's what you did! I binged the previous books in this series before starting this one, and if I thought I was in love with the first 3 Bonetti books, I was utterly wrong. This book? I devoured it. I sat with it. I was in awe of it. It's dark, it's beautifully chiseled and it's absolutely captivating! The absolutely undeniable chemistry that was between Mossimo(Psycho) & Anastasia was enough to singe my kindle/ear buds! Like they truly had intense passion, the emotions that come with broken, vengeful characters, the roller coaster ride to get to their ending. It was beyond phenomenal!
Let's talk narrators. My friends, Blair Thatcher as Anastasia.....she was incredible. She brought the sexy, sultry ADA to life in the best way! Nailed it beautifully! Sean Masters is a powerhouse performer! Every growly moment, every passionately dominant side of Mossimo, Sean Masters delivered it on a silver platter! I absolutely loved this one and I am hooked for life!
I thought Chelle nearly broke me with Bones, but no, she had to go and bring Massimo/Psycho and Anastasia’s story and i’m absolutely in love and also in tears. Please for the love of everything read those TW. (Luckily for me they were in the front of the audiobook so i sat there for a minute or two with my jaw hanging because the menu was just so good). I was warned about one thing but it was still devastating to read it and i became truly homicidal.
The characters were amazing and i was enjoying their turmoil and everything they were bring to the story. Now we cant forget our amazing narrators - Blaire Thatcher and Sean Masters. They were amazing and sucked me into the story from chapter 1.
Overall this was one dark read that i enjoyed a lot! I will Go back to read/listen to Reaper and Kage!
Every book gets better and better. Psycho? Pfffft my absolute favorite Bonetti brother. He is absolutely unapologetic and he plays one hell of mind & chess game. Anastasia falls right in to his plan perfectly. Though she is his captive she is a total badass.
Anastasia is definitely what Psycho needs and the revenge Anastasia finally gets is down right amazing. Psycho and I were both impressed.
I read this book as an audiobook and it was down right delicious. I have no idea if I have ever listen to Sean Master’s audios but it is just pure sex and spicy. He did psycho perfectly and loved it. Blair Thatcher is also new to me and she did amazing too. Definitely brought Anastasia to life.
Loved it but be sure to check your triggers!! This one has very heavy spots that are not for everyone. Though they're not my favorite Bonetti couple, I do love Psycho and Hadley. Their origin surprised me but I'm here for it! I'm sad to see the Bonetti Brothers series end, but now I've got to catch up on all the others!
**Update after Audiobook Listen** LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Sean and Blair were so good together! Blair especially is super great at adding feeling to her voice! (Sean is great too, of course). Sean is already one of my fave male narrators but Blair is officially one of my favorite female narrators! That being said, because of the great job the two did, the bad parts hit even harder than simply reading them. I nearly ugly cried and I think during one part (iykyk) I would have thrown up if I hadn't known it was coming. Perfect! BUT 100% CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS!
Book 4 in the Bonetti Brothers series and my dark, demented soul could not be happier. First, if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series, it isn’t absolutely necessary, but it would give you a whole lot of background that ties everything together. Each book in the series is about a different brother, and this one is about the oldest and probably the most disturbed. If there is anything that might possibly trigger you on this planet, this may not be the book for you. But if you are like me, and enjoy men that are not just morally grey, not just morally black, but morally void and FMCs that are strong and opinionated but completely crumble with the first degrading words, this book is exactly what you are looking for. I became obsessed with the Bonetti brothers and this book was perfect for the last of the brothers.
I swear that the main characters in this series get strong and more messed up as the series progresses. Psycho has got to be the most twisted of the brothers. Of course Bones is the strong leader, Reaper is a serial unaliver, and Kage torments people in…well…cages. But Psycho is just that. He tortures. He cuts and then repairs just so he can cut again. He wants to punish Anastasia for coming for his family. Anastasia is an ADA that wants to take down the Bonetti family for her own reasons. There is more to her than what is on the surface and the after she is caught by Psycho, she becomes his plaything, waiting to be dispatched by him. But as with all of the Bonetti brothers, nothing is as simple as it appears.
Psycho might be the darkest, most twisted of this series. This book hits all of the possible triggers and takes things to such a deep, dark place. There is so much spicy content (although there is some non-con) and it is incredibly hot at times. I have to say, I have a weird obsession with forced piercings. I was waiting for this book ever since I finished Kage and it absolutely did not disappoint. I don’t know what that says about me, but at least I know I am not the only dark twisted soul out there.
Second listen through thanks to ALC's gifted via Blue Nose Audio
I had to revisit this series. I didn't even hesitate because these brothers? Each one is more unhinged than the one before in the BEST possible ways. The Bonetti's are a family that I am so glad Chelle kept going with (Lunatic and The Bonetti Bastards) and I love how we get to see how different yet alike they all are. I am so glad I signed up to listen to these again and get to hear these incredible narrators once more.
I hate seeing the end of this series because it's sooooo good!
Bones needs a vacation at this point dealing with his siblings lol
🎧 Audiobook review 🎧⚡ Spoilers might lie ahead—I usually like to talk shit about everything that goes down in these books
I listened to this audiobook yesterday and I already forgot most of what happened — so yeah, memorable it’s not.
I liked Bones, so I had high expectations for the Bonetti brothers. After Reaper (which I didn’t enjoy), I skipped Kage… but then I saw Sean Masters narrates Psycho and I caved — I’ve got a soft spot for that man’s voice.
At this point, I can safely say there’s a formula to these books. Unhinged Bonetti captures the FMC, doesn’t plan to mess around — just torture, maim, maybe kill. Somewhere along the way, the torture endorphins hit his lower brain and suddenly the dick wants in on the action. So he forces himself on her, and somehow… feelings start to bloom. The big bad mafia guy, who’s spent his entire life dicking and killing, suddenly wants to keep one special lady because… she’s there, I guess? Because fuck if I know what makes her the one.
And of course, the angelic FMC falls in love with her captor — full-on Stockholm syndrome — because the Bonetti brothers are hot, muscly, tatted, and can apparently make you come ten ways to Sunday. Who cares they’re psychopaths, right? Can’t say no to a good dicking, even if he’s threatening your life.
Then she gets kidnapped again (because of course she does). The Bonettis, who would’ve killed her three chapters ago, now rally to save her — while she’s being abused and tortured by some other psycho who’s obviously worse, because he’s not as hot. I mean, loyalty to your first kidnapper, right?
Cue the last act: the rescue, the trauma, the love declaration, and the HEA. And honestly, I wouldn’t even mind the formula if there was any actual chemistry between them. But there isn’t. The spice scenes are more rapey than sexy (and the book literally tells us there’s no consent). The connection has zero foundation, the women go through hell, and the so-called feelings make no sense.
I love dark romance, but this one felt like a bad trip — that cute little bunny that suddenly turns creepy and tries to bite your head off.
Anastasia is just plain dumb here. The revenge plot? Weak. She built her whole life on unverified gossip instead of checking her facts. She believed random hearsay over the people who were actually kind to her. And Psycho not recognizing her? Weak again. We’re told he was infatuated with her, but when they meet again… nothing? Please.
And don’t even get me started on the mom. Catatonic for years, then poof, she wakes up thanks to Psycho’s magical influence. Girl, be serious. The idea that her whole life — her marriage, her child’s death, her father’s death, her mom’s breakdown — all went to hell because of her connection to the Bonettis is such a stretch. I’d buy it if she’d been actually involved with one of them, but she wasn’t. She was just the daughter of a Bonetti soldier. Even Psycho didn’t remember her — how “special” could she have been?
If I found out I’d been used in some plot to weaken the Bonetti empire, I’d be out so fast there’d be smoke coming off my shoes. Because seriously — how good can the dick be, bitch?
Now, Psycho’s lack of emotion fits the pattern with all the brothers, but his is worse — because, well, he’s literally a psycho. And honestly, they should’ve left it like that. We didn’t need some last-minute “I love you” nonsense. It would’ve been way more powerful if he stayed what he was: obsessed, possessive, unhinged. Don’t throw away his entire character arc just because you wanted a nice little bow at the end.
The audiobook is duet style, Sean Masters is boo <3
Psycho was an absolutely insane ride. Watching him go from loathing Anastasia, to lusting after her, to betraying her and selling her out, and then becoming the person determined to save her had me holding on for dear life. I am pretty sure I needed a five point harness to make it through this book safely.
Anastasia is not in a position where she can freely challenge him. She is stuck between a rock and a hard place and trying to survive a man who controls nearly every part of what happens to her. Listening to the moments where you know she desperately wants to give it right back to him but has to bite her tongue was wild. That self-control made everything between them even more emotional.
Sean Masters was incredible as Psycho. You could hear the contempt slowly turn into desire, then into the kind of obsession he was gripping with all he could that it would be temporary. His inner turmoil when he realized removing Anastasia from his life would feel like losing something vital was one of my favorite parts of the performance. Sean made that shift believable without suddenly turning Psycho into a sweet or safe man.
Blair Thatcher did such a beautiful job with Anastasia. She captured the constant calculation behind every response because Anastasia knows one wrong word could make her situation worse. Blair let us hear everything she could not safely say out loud, including the anger she had to swallow and the fear she was trying not to show. It made me feel trapped inside every decision with her.
I also loved that the Bonetti matriarch was the one willing to advocate for Anastasia. She understood what was happening before Psycho was ready to admit it and helped tip the scales toward protecting her. Those family dynamics are one of the reasons I enjoy this series so much.
The duet narration made the entire experience feel even more intense. Sean and Blair brought every uncomfortable shift in their relationship to life and made it impossible to stop listening. Like seriously my sleep schedule is wrecked and I regret nothing.
This is a very dark romance, so check the content warnings before starting. Chelle Rose gave me a completely messed up story that kept changing direction every time I thought I knew where it was going, and I loved the ride.

Anastasia and Massimo couldn't have been more of a thunderstorm turned tornado. It went from zero to 100 in no time! Anastasia was hell bent on having revenge on the people she thought was at behest of her father's death.
I loved that she was willing to do anything to have that peace of mind. Even when she was at her worst she refused to give up. I felt so many emotions when I was listening. We go from anger to admiration to love for this beautiful woman. She desrved so much better than the life she was handed.
Anastasia has been through hell and she refused to go then and she won't go now. I truly felt for her all the way throughout this story. There wasn't a time that I wasn't living on bated breath for the next thing to happen. I defiitely felt like I needed a nap after reading this! It was a roller coaster of feelings and thoughts racing through my brain.
Psycho was the one that I didn't think I would like as much as I do! This whole story I kept thinking I never thought Psycho would be right next to Reaper in my faves! He was literally a PSYCHO, unhinged and in all his glory! I loved his growlly nature, like he is a porcupine!
Mossimo was the unhinged man so many women would ☠️ to be in his realm. But he truly showed his vengeance and all the anger that fueled it. Mossimo knew his limites and refuse to budge on what he wanted. Until those hard limits were thrown for a loop with a big SAY LESS to Mossimo's life. Psycho was definitely psycho, but he sure didn't know how hard he was gone for Anastasia.
Seeing how these two were dancing with each other I couldn't help but lelt my brain run free for a minute trying to figure out what would happen! Seeing these two at the end of a major life change was such a bittersweet moment!

We’ve officially reached the final Bonetti brother, Massimo “Psycho,” his nickname fits him perfectly.
Now technically this series is labeled as interconnected standalones, but by this point I really wouldn’t recommend jumping in without the previous books. The events happen in chronological order, the emotional threads build off one another, and several moments in this story land much harder when you already know what this family has survived. Especially after the cliffhanger ending in book 3, this one immediately drops you into the fallout.
And once again, this series stays very dark. We’re well past “morally grey” territory and firmly into pitch-black romance with heavy non con and dub con themes throughout. Definitely check trigger warnings beforehand because this series dives deep into the darkness.
Going into this one, I thought I had a pretty solid idea of where the story would head after the previous ending. Surprisingly though, there were several twists and turns that shifted the direction in ways I didn’t fully expect. Nothing wildly out of left field, but enough to keep things feeling tense and unpredictable the entire time.
There’s a solid amount of spice throughout, including several heavier dark kinks woven into the story, but what worked best for me was the vulnerability underneath all the brutality. Beneath the violence, obsession, captivity, and chaos, there’s still this thread of damaged people trying to hold onto something human within themselves. That emotional layer is what kept me invested.
The audiobook narration by Blair Thatcher and Sean Masters was absolutely top-tier. They completely nailed the atmosphere of this story. Their performances matched the dark, gritty tone perfectly while still capturing the emotional weight and vulnerability beneath the surface. The tension, fear, obsession, grief, and intimacy all came through naturally in their delivery, making the audiobook incredibly immersive from start to finish.
Honestly, this series kept improving for me with each book, and ending with Psycho felt like a strong finish to the Bonetti brothers’ chaos.
So many emotions throughout this book! I read the book in one go, I couldn't put it down.
Anastasia Crowne, Assistant District Attorney, wants to take down the Bonetti Brothers for revenge on what they did to her father. The thing is that one of the brothers, Massimo Bonetti, was her first crush, and it's hard with him now being her enemy.
When she's caught, he makes a deal that he can do anything he wants with her for 30 days, and if she does that, then she can go at the end; otherwise, she'll be unalived.
For a while, I really hated Massimo (Psycho), he was cruel, unkind and heartless. It did seem like he actually wanted to hurt Anastasia (and he did) and constantly threatened that he was going to unalive her. As a Bonetti son, he was raised to be cold and calculated, to do what needed to be done and show no mercy. I very slowly started warming up to him, then melted at how he finally realized how much she meant to him.
They are opposites pulled together by a magnetic force. Anastasia was broken and a shell of her former self, yet resilient, strong and a survivor. The trauma she went through was crushing and enough to send anyone into darkness. Those events shaped her into who she is today.
A lot happened in this book, lots of layers, but I feel like it was spaced out enough that I was able to follow everything, and it was done well.
Now, on to the other books in this series!

Psycho is the fourth and final book of the Bonetti Brothers series. Author Chelle Rose held nothing back with this one. I dove straight in taking zero notes because I couldn’t wait a second longer to finally hear Psycho's side. From the very first book, we’ve gotten glimpses of Psycho, teased with who is he and how he earned his name. With every mention of his name, the anticipation built. Chelle definitely made the wait worthwhile.
While we got hints of Psycho's storyline back in Kage, nothing prepared me for this ride. Sean Masters plays Psycho, aka Massimo, a man responsible for truly unspeakable actions. The rage, the madness, the flashes of vulnerability… it all came through so vividly that I felt unsettled one moment and completely undone the next. Co-narrator Blair Thatcher had my attention immediately. From the moment she said the title in the intro, I knew I was in for something unforgettable. FMC Anastasia endures years of tragedies throughout her life, from her childhood, to her marriage and even her time in captivity with Psycho. Blair had me feeling every single emotion right along with her in every single scene.
I’m not giving away any plot details, because you need to experience every jaw-dropping plot twist for yourself, but I will say this.... it’s darker, twisted, and absolutely deranged in the best way possible. This is the darkest of the series, and I loved every second of it.
What I adore about Chelle Rose’s writing is the way she crafts these deeply troubled, broken male characters yet somehow makes your heart melt for them. You can’t help but fall in love. On the surface, some might call her heroines victims, but Chelle writes them with such resilience, strength, and quiet power that they hold their own against these men. I loved this entire series, and Psycho is truly the best way to finish it out.
