Uhhhhh..... how is Mason Neiman not in somebody's padded room cause..... 👀🤯 I digress.
We jumped right back in where we left off, and Tylee is not going for the bs they got going on. What the hell is Brandy on for real for real? Sis is delusional and crazy as hell. 😡 Along with Bryan they have to know that Mason is coming for they asses, right? Ughhhh......
I thought Tylee was on the straight and narrow. She was just a girl who just happened to fall in love with a man who was functionally insane. 😂 But no, she ain't far behind him with her crazy!! How in the world does he talk her into doing all that crazy ish, without much pushback? Allow him to do the things he does without her batting an eye? Girl....... 👀 They may as well make them a strait jacket to share, cause it is a whole lot of crazy goings on!

He stood on business every single time, no hesitation, no apologies. Saying I was surprised? Baby, that would be a lie. I knew he was gonna be ruthless… but whew, he went above and beyond. That man had me blinking in bold and holding my breath!
And Tylee? Unhinged in the best way. Sis had the candles lit, full moon out, and a love spell simmering—and honestly? It worked, ‘cause her and Mason were crazy in love and dangerously obsessed with each other. The chemistry? TOXIC but delicious.
Now let’s talk about Mason’s energy real quick—because it was giving straight BDE, off the charts! I felt every word he spoke like it was whispering in my ear. He didn’t just show up, he made the whole book quake. That man is a walking trigger warning and I loved every second of it.
How do I even review this without spoiling everything?! That’s how GOOD it was. Just know—Mason came through swinging, loving, and dominating every page. I was locked in from start to finish like, “Yes sir, go ‘head!”

Quick little read. MASON IS UNHINGED that is it... no more lol! Mason is a walking red flag but that's what draws you into him even more. Let's marinate here: he bought a named a cemetery (that has a crematory) after the love us his life and buries anyone that causes her even the slightest inconvenience in there without a care in the world.

I still haven’t gathered my thoughts to write a real and complete review of book 1 cause the level of insanity that is Mason Neiman cannot be understood by my brain. But then here comes book 2 where it is made clear that err’body needs to see a psychiatrist. Whitney and Tyson might be the only sane characters.
I have read urban books with some very unhinged characters (e.g. Product of the Street and Demon’s Dream) and I loved those psychotic characters (I am still a little concerned that I did, cause those characters weren’t normal. At. Alllll.) But Mason Neiman was not my cup of tea. And it’s most likely due to the dark arts he and his Granny indulged in. I do not play with that stuff (fiction or otherwise). But the author did warn that this book dabbles in that space so, there’s that.
The book had a number of grammatical issues, incorrectly used words, made-up words (because the author evidently didn’t know the correct word to use), and misspelled words throughout the book. Although this book/series was not my type of book, I imagine others may find it an enjoyable escape from reality.

Loved everything about this wild conclusion to Book 1. Mason is certified nut over his lady love. He was unhinged but in the best ways. In book 1 he used roots ceremony to bind her soul to his forever and ever amen. In book 2, we have the classic..."I will find my kidnapped woman and when I do there will be hell to pay as I rain down my vengeance". Like the tropes were popping here left and right. Betrayals came to light, revenge was settled. Dark Romance vibes was had by all and as always Mason ate the cream out her coochie like it was his last supper every supper.

Stop Playing with Mason!
First off let’s give the author her 🌹🌹🌹🌹!!! The way I ate this read/series!! Let me tell you there are different ways to love someone and that is what was expressed in this series! When your soul is tied to another, there is nothing that’s can stop you to get to them!
We all know how Mason was coming for EVERYONE when it came to Tylee! That man played NO games! After being shot the main focus was his son and Tylee! When this man found out that she was missing, he did care what anyone had to say, he did care that he was still in the hospital and sure didn’t care he needed to heal! All he knew is he needs to find his woman and make all involved suffer the consequences!! We all know that he did and some! My guy thought process was like no other but his actions was nothing but top tier!
My girl Tylee!!! Loved me some her! Regardless of the way Mason is and his thought process, my girl was standing 10 toes down by her man! Even though she was kidnapped because of jealousy and drama that stirred before her she knew her man was coming for her! What she didn’t know was the part she would end up playing! When I say I was SPEECHLESS and my mouth was on the floor, that’s exactly what it was. I was here for it. Ole girl got everything she deserved plus some!
Brandi!!!!! How you fall in love with someone you only seen once? How you help plan an entire scheme to remove someone so you can love in your happily ever after with their woman? This woman here was a lost cause and didn’t think - LOL. But the way she met her demise what a moment and a shocker! Again never would’ve thought! But was here for it!
The grandmother! The fact she had all the connections that Mason needed! She was not pleased with her family and the part some played but she played fair and didn’t take sides! Oh, we can’t forget about the Brasi family! I need to know more about them! Navy don’t seem to be anyone you want to cross or play with! That man was EVERYTHING, know EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING!
There is so much that can discuss about this book and I can go on and on, but what I will say is I’m here for it when it comes to Mason, Tylee and oh can’t for MJ! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

From the very first page, I was on edge, nervous, and holding my breath, but let’s be real—this is MASON. We KNEW he was gonna pull through! But now? Now he’s about to PEEL SOME TOPS BACK! Because when it comes to Tylee, he will PAINT THE CITY RED. 😮💨💥
And don’t let Tylee fool you either! She may not be as unhinged as Mason, but sis got her own brand of crazy! 😂 Together, they are the definition of ride-or-die, and if you cross one, you cross BOTH. PERIOD.
Then we have MJ, calling her Ma Tylee, and let me tell you—the way she protects and loves that boy? Whew! 🥹 He might not be her blood, but her love runs deep, and Mason MELTS every time he sees it. And let’s not forget Granny aka Root Lady! 😭😂 She is NOT the one—don’t cross her grandbaby unless you have a death wish!
The story wraps up beautifully, but that new friendship between Mason and Navy?? I was NOT expecting that! 👀 And now my curiosity is on MAX because of the Brasi family. Yeah, I NEED TO KNOW MORE!

Yoh, every time i thought the craziness was done, Jatoria said, Psyche, b*tch!! Like girl you had my edges snatched by the end of book 1, but baybe by the end of book 2, I didn't have any hair left✋🏽.
Yoh Mason was UNHINGED, I TELL YOU!! That man needs psychiatric help but I don't know if they can help at this point. Now I thought Tylee was okay in the head, but girl, when Whitney asked if you wanted to run you should have " She's a runner, she's a track star🤦🏽♀️✋🏽" out of the situation. But i guess the voodoo peen was too good. 🤷🏽♀️(Also after that bedroom 'ceremony', what you did to that man was equally unhinged, but atp who am I to complain?) In my eyes that was retribution🤷🏽♀️, and rightfully so!!!)

this was very dark
So in this book, we get to see a really dark side to Mason and it’s not like he was not dark and mysterious and scaring the first book, but in the second book, it definitely shows up as this very morally grey hero, but is as always excessively obsessed with his woman. Another thing about this one is we get to learn more about the family dynamics between Mason and his cousin and his uncle and aunt and eventually we see how things end on that end. Also, his grandmother plays a huge role in his love story and I think they are weird family. They were given this and I’m talking about Mason and TYLEE and how they get married, they were given this really weird vibe like the Addams family vibe, which was interesting to see it was a fun read. It was cool and I’m glad that I’m done with this so far I think I have read almost all of the books in this author’s catalogue, except for the Alexa play me something something

The intensity, the action, and the love between him and Tylee were just as strong—if not stronger—this time around. Nothing and no one could come between them, and watching their dynamic evolve was everything.
Tylee seeing Mason in all his unhinged glory and not running for the hills? That just solidified how deep their bond really was. In fact, the more I read, the more I realized she might be just as crazy as he is! Their love isn’t conventional—it’s raw, all-consuming, and on a whole different level.
If you haven’t read the first book, do yourself a favor and start there because Mason Neiman 2 takes things even further. The energy, the drama, and the passion will keep you locked in. Trust me, Mason does not disappoint!

First off, I love Mason lol. Honestly, when I first started reading this I was scared when I felt like everything was solved in the beginning BUTTTTTTTT I realized everything was coming full circle in this sequel as I kept reading.
I loveeee Mason as a father, I think that's my fave role for him lol. He gonna do whatever for MJ and I love how he hold Lisa accountable when she think she can play with him.
Why it take him so long to remember to go back to that house?????
Sly was a real disappointment but the AUNT AND UNCLE???? My jaw was on the floor. It really be your own family.
I love how Tylee came to realize they are literally twin flames lmao baby he not crazy alone, yall BOTH crazy.

The shenans continued, great sequel
Whew! It got really real in book 2. Much like the first book, there was plenty of laughs to go around in this one also. I didn’t think Mason could get anymore unhinged toward Tylee…welp, he showed me. Lol. Tylee stood beside her man and MJ was crazy about his Ma Tylee. One thing I really liked about Mason is the type of dad he is. The on page relationship between him and MJ was so heart warming. From being emotionally in tune to family therapy, they have a beautiful father-son dynamic. Mason was way too kind to Lisa. Tylee needs to treat her to the ‘Brandi special’ lollll.I look forward reading more from this author and I need to see if my girl Whitney gets her H.E.A.

Tylee needs to treat her to the ‘Brandi special’ lollll.I look forward reading more from this author and I need to see if my girl Whitney gets her H.E.A.

We pickup right were we last left off. There even a quick read-back to refresh the mind. Not only is Mason unhinged but, MJ is also showing signs (when your kids don’t play about you) lol.

I don’t even know what to say about Brandy’s delu lu lu behind she needs to be in padded room next to Mason. Granny just spooked the mess out of me and don’t think I will be coming over for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner especially if she is cooking. I like the author input Kimmy’s Kreations into one of the scenes, I love watching her YouTube Channel. Mason finally dragged Tylee to the darkside...that wedding was out of the box. If you haven’t picked up part two than you need to, you will enjoy the conclusion.

Sly definitely sent the reaper to his parents door and her served a nice dose of that humble pie!!!…
Mason played no games about making sure everyone got exactly what they deserved!!!…
I loved me some granny and MJ!!!…Granny said do what you need to do and make sure it’s clean!!!…
Brandi was a sick lil puppy and the fact her and her Bryan was begging irked my bottom nerve!!!…
The wedding scene took me all the way out and I guess it was a good place for 2 unhinged ppl to say I Do!!!…

Mason doesn't play about Tylee!
Mason was determined to protect Tylee at all costs against anyone trying to bring her harm, family included. Brandi was certifiable as well as his uncle, aunt and Sly. Bryan was a pawn in the game and in the end they all got dealt with. Granny is truly the Root Lady and will use them on anyone threatening her family. In the end they got their HEA . This was a great read just not a fan of the spirits, potions, spells but if that's your thing you will enjoy Mason Neiman, I say he's got some loose screws frfr!

3.5⭐️ This was an enjoyable ride from where book one left off. Mason, true to being his unhinged self stood on business with protecting his family; cleared ALL the opps out! From tying Tylee to the bed lol to the tracking chips, he stood behind his words of “You are my obsession”.
Sometimes family wrong you in ways you’d never imagine. Glad Mason handled business!

Wow, just wow!!
Jatoria, I did not think you could get any darker than the Baccarat series but you proved me wrong!! Mason was in a league all by himself. I did like how loyal and protective was about family, the ones he loved anyway. Tylee had some screws loose but she loved just as he was. This book was good but a little disturbing. It also seemed a bit rushed. Still I can't wait for Navy's book!!

Loved this book! Mason is one crazy man, but tbh I can’t blame him. Tylee is that gworl! I love them as a couple!
Tyler’s best friend Whitney & Mason’s witchy grandma are my two favorite side characters & all of my suspicions from book one were confirmed. The ending was satisfying & I loved the spiritual touches. I was also glad that Mason‘s crazy behind finally made a REAL friend.
I’ll most definitely be reading more books for my girl Jatoria. She writes great urban dark romance.

Mason was one hell of a manipulator. From childhood to adulthood. He honestly preyed on Tylee and she fell for it like a stupid person. Whitney is about the only person with some sense cause my goodness what was wrong with Mason and Tylee. Then granny aka root lady throwed off too. The whole family just crazy. MJ need a good behind whooping. How you 10 years old in the 5th grade cussing and carrying on?!

Okay….Mason has attachment issues but I can see why but he did a lot this book lol. Tylee is just as crazy as he is because in a scary, annoying way she loved it! Sly got what he deserved & to think if he had kept his mouth shut the demise of the rest would have been different. Whitney is my girl!!!! I love Granny & MJ needs a high five, hug & a spanking lol! I feel like Whitney needs a story & we need more from Navy lol!
